"Rooms."
She's only been to this place two times,
but always left halfway through.
Fingertips lay on her pants
with big hues on Amelia.
She knew already, and she didn’t particularly care. The fabric was quite audibly ripping, but she’d never really minded tattered clothes.
Though she blessed her long legs for what might’ve been the first time as she jumped down from the fence…
"And…what scale are we measuring these places by? Are they rooms, or…” Growling in annoyance, Amelia kicked the trapped hem of her skirt from beneath one of her boots. "…wings?"

"Say something."
She whispered,
a thin brow lifting up.
He didn’t understand why he was doing this.
But backing off now would be embarrassing.
So he sits quietly
and waits for instructions.

"I don't know to be frank.
I'd guess maybe twelve?"
Should she tell her
that her clothes are being ruined?
Nah,
she'll just act as if everything's dandy.
"What…How many parts are there?"
Her voice was a bit strained as she struggled to painlessly vault herself over the top of the fence, which still managed to catch and tear at her tights.

Pink lips curl up,
she bends down to get a better look at the small girl.
The look Layla gives her
is harmless and sweet.
"Thank you!
I like it too."

[❦] ––– ❝I, uh, I like your hair.❞
Crap. Vanellope had strode over,
all prepared to beg like the little
urchin she was, and all she’d
done so far was compliment the
woman. Oh well. Maybe she’d be
flattered and give her candy anyway.

"Found it!"
Sitting across from the boy,
she lights it
and laid her hands on the planchette.
Right, an Ouija Board.
He’s never bothered to learn about this stuff,
seeing as it went against exorcism.
He waits patiently, however.

"It's an Ouija Board.
Just hold it while I get the candle."
It's odd how she invited him to play along,
especially when she didn't exactly believe in spirits.
Confused, Yukio put them where he was instructed to.
"Here?" It didn’t make any sense.

"Is the creature dead?"
"Mmm. I’d sympathize, but I guess being homeschooled is a good excuse…"

"Put your hands here."
Anyone could tell
he didn't know what he was doing.
She didn't mind it though.
"Very well."
Oblivious to the whole thing,
Yukio steps up and offers a hand.

Whimper, whimper.
She lays her head back
and closes her eyes.
"Please."
"I can fix this I swear!"
Her shaking bloody hands move to
try and patch up the wound. It has
to work, it just
has to.

"If they can catch me."
It was a jest, not serious. Layla hopped over and spun back to her.
"Where do you want to go first?"
…And maybe she shouldn’t trust this idiot with so much as her favorite book.
Sighing, Amelia reached out one of her hands, her fingers probing and coiling around one of the wires in the metal fence. All right. The assumption was probably that she’d climb that. Thank heaven for these shoes…
She quickly gripped into a slightly higher area of the fence, and, with a grunt, slammed one of her steel toes into the largest joke she could feel out to elevate herself higher. "If I die here, you’re bound to be the one gong to jail… “

"Well, I've only tried it once.
I don't drink much due to
how far it is from my house."
“That entirely depends on whether or not
you can handle your liquor, love. It’s hard
for me to believe someone as small as you
can handle more than just a few. But perhaps
the same has been said about me.”

"It's alright, I mean, I didn't have friends as a child." Maybe because she has the ability of Ecokinesis. Who knows. Her gaze made her nod slowly.
"That must be nice." the girl muttered as she blindly reached out to carefully stroke the critter’s head with her pointer finger, which to a typical human glance might’ve seemed uncomfortably long.
