The Throne Game

Alright, so recently I've been watching this really cool show, because my girlfriend got it on DVD. It's called the Throne Game. It's mostly about sex and death and not trusting witches that eat babies. There is a main plot, though, which is that there is this game that everyone's playing and it takes ages and if you win, you get the throne, but if you lose you get death. Sounds like a bummer. Anyways there are, like, six people playing and they're called the "candidates" like the Apprentice or something, and one of them will win, eventually. My favourite candidate is Stan. Stan comes from a really odd family that all have, like, really literal names. It's really weird. So you have Stan-is-Baracuda, who is awesome, and he's related to Joe-frees-Baracuda (who apparently frees something else entirely, but no one talks about that) and Rob-Hurts-Baracuda, who died (presumably for his crimes against fish). Stan wants to win because his brother, Rob, won the last game and he thinks this gives him a better chance, or something. He also has this bitch with him, also weirdly named Mel-is-Andre (maybe her parents wanted a boy), who has made him follow the Light Lord - so that he can be more powerful. Mel, like most of the women in the series, needs sex to live, and she can turn semen into shadowy death. I've only seen the first two seasons of The Throne Game, but I've got high hopes for Stan - even though he just got beat at the King's Land. I'm sure it will turn out ok. For the night is terrifying and full of darkness.

I’ve been watching it for the past couple hours, not really paying attention to what’s going on but omg the We’re Doing Science music is magical. I should just have this music installed into my brain to be played through the day when it’s quiet.

This is a thing science should be working on right now.

So I'm just going to sit here until one of three things happens:

1. You tell me what the hell is going on.

2. You ignore me for the rest of the evening and we both get a late night.

3. You hit me until you feel better.

See the only thing I can figure, when you don't want to talk to me, is that you're either pissed off with me or depressed and, frankly, I'm not comfortable going to bed in either of those situations.

Alright these last six months have been nothing but slow for me. Being an adult is hard, but it does get you to value the little things. Everything that I used to sneer at in the shops when picking up my Tropicana and my Crunchy Nut now seems a little bit more appealing. Also getting by on older and cheaper games is a lot funner now. I'm actually still on the poor side of things at the moment and it doesn't help that I'm clumsy as a drunk when it comes to driving - but hopefully things will get better soon. Just waiting to get a job with good hours and good pay so that I can be a little freer with my moolah... On the good side, we've got Digi moving in soon and my Brother coming to visit at some point. Still...
