day 5 , monster since it's mermay2023 i decided to draw some reverse mermaids! they are also inspired by denungeherrholm's daily ink monsters he's a truly amazing artist and it was really fun! i used some of sketchbooks splatter brushes to create the splatters and thought they looked liked and then everything just came together .

missed 4 days so i combined the themes and made two drawings. days 2-3 below ( https://www.tumblr.com/xgegex11-blog/716500204964249600/sooooooo-i-missed-4-days-so-i-decided-to?source=share ) the themes for day 4 and 5 where melt/jewelry so how about some melty jewelry i usually do water colors so i am mostly tiring to emulate that with my digital work but today i wanted to try dot matrix and it was pretty fun and i do love the effect

oh look what i found on vouge today. are they STEALING ideas ? from tumblr ? they left out the best part too .

the met gala is on monday so I’m reintroducing the idea that the crowd should get to decide whether or not a celebrity followed the theme & if the popular vote is no they get a bucket of nickelodeon green slime poured over their head

so here's the prompt for day 1 i challenged my self to draw it in ~30 min the prompt was ghost and i thought it would be fun to draw a little sheet ghost ! it didn't turn out that well in my opinion due to the time restriction but it was a nice exercise.

should have posted this yesterday but ANYWAYS , i made an art prompt challenge for may . you can use it to create characters ,illustrations, or even sketches for each day in this month to improve your art and to push yourself out of your comfort zone

the way i see it .for most people when they talk about headcannons are soft headcannons becuse hard headcannons aren't even viewed as headcanons by the person they are just how the preson views the character the " creeping sense of existential wrongness." is because the headcanon is intwined with how you view the character and there's this moment of realization that no, that thing isn't actually canon it was never stated that thing was true in the text directly .

I think everyone has both "hard" headcanons (things that are so integral to your understanding of a story that you can't enjoy content that contradicts them), and "soft" headcanons (things that are mutable, where you aren't strongly attached or you're open to alternate interpretations) and if you aren't sure if something is one or the other you can just read a fic where the author disagrees with you and see whether you react with "Huh, that's interesting" or "I have been overcome with a creeping sense of existential wrongness."
