Truly crying because Safaa, one of the Palestinians I help fundraise for, crocheted this doll of Zetian from my book Iron Widow. Safaa used to have a crochet business that supported her family, but they lost nearly everything and now have to take shelter in rubble. She crochets these dolls with what scarce supplies she has left in hopes of bringing the children around her some happiness. It's my wish that she'll be free and able to send this Zetian doll to me one day, so please chip in to her campaign so she can afford food and other critical resources. Her parents both have diabetes and haven't had proper treatment in nearly two years, not to mention her father lost an eye. Any little bit helps! Please share her campaign widely!
