#i don’t think i’ve posted about it on tumblr but the salomé story is one of my favorites on earth (esp. oscar wilde’s salomé)#and uhm idk it’s just so good and i’ve been writing a salomé song for months just very slowly#god i fucking love it#also when i collaged my own deck of cards a year or so ago the queen of spades was a salomé card and one of the best in the deck#ANYWAY this art is beautiful and true and scary#the dance of the seven veils before herod is like the scariest thing of all time. like a pov horror game for salomé i’m sure#i imagine it’s like when someone is making creepy comments abt you and you have to be like AHAha yes that’s so funny
