Maybe we should start talking how most of Vi’s fans only see Vi as Caitlyn’s girlfriend because ya’ll start crying if the 1% of Vi’s fanbase criticizes the writing of her character in season 2 or how they wrote her relationship with Caitlyn.

Or even worse, god FORBID 3 people in Vi’s fandom says they like her relationship with her sister which is VASTLY overshadowed by Caitvi, but ya’ll start having a meltdown. As if 99% of Vi’s fandom content isn’t exclusively centered around Caitlyn, but then you guys start screaming saying we want Vi to be miserable for the rest of her life (because apparently Caitlyn cancels out everyone in her life) and you’re a fake fan blah blah. Then ya’ll love to lie and say the fandom centers Vi on Jinx, which is objectively false.

You can talk as much shit as you want about Jinx and her relationship with Vi and that makes you a “real” fan of Vi, but criticizing Caitlyn & Caitvi’s writing is untouchable and you’re a “fake” fan who secretly hates Vi lmao.

I think I should just start freely expressing what I want to say on here but I honestly really hate Caitvi fans. I find them really insufferable. Their fanbase is so immensely toxic and they ruined the fandom for me tbh. Most of their fanbase is not normal about shipping at all and they say disgusting things about the politics of the show because they watch Arcane with a shipping brain. Season 2 made some questionable writing choices with Caitvi, writers treated Vi like trash, but instead of having a mature conversation you’ve dedicated yourselves since November to harass people EVEN if the criticism of season 2 is not about Vi and Caitlyn’s relationship.

amanda overton being like 'yeah i was nervous about the vi hitting powder scene because that might trigger certain viewers but then christian kinda really pushed for it and i realized it could serve as an important plot point becuase its something vi regrets' made sense but then her going like 'and thats also why we made caitlyn hit vi because now vi could see that there was someone like her who made a terrible mistake and would regret it' like brooo. no those two things arent even the same. vi hitting powder as SISTERS is not the same thing as caitlyn hitting vi as a ROMANTIC PARTNER. yeah vi hit powder really hard but like theyre sisters.... sometimes siblings hit each other thats nothing new. caitlyn hitting vi has such a different effect and meaning considering shes meant to be her lover. anyway that pissed me off what is that all about.

I hate how 99% of Arcane fans can’t find relationships interesting unless it’s romantic because why do you ship Caitlyn and Jinx together? Like that’s so freaking weird. Their relationship is truly one the biggest “what could have beens” in the show.

Their dynamic is heavily underrated and one of the most fascinating ones in the entire show (too bad season 2 dropped their whole conflict).
