Do you think the patterns on rumi from kpop demon hunters' skin are an allegory for sh scars and the way people are shamed for having them or being open about them? The way society makes people who have scars feel this terrible guilt and shame over them, for no apparent reason? The way Rumi wanted to confide in her friends, to have their support and tell them about her patterns, but was stopped by the shame Celiene put on her for even having them in the first place. It almost feels too close to reality doesn't it? But instead of patterns, people are made to be ashamed from their scars. Has anyone else thought this or is it just me?

You know I really like only one depiction of the enemies to lovers trope. It's Catradora (Catra x Adora) from Shera. And the reason why I like it is because of it's structure.

They don't have the typical enemies*-lovers pipeline. Instead they have best friends-mortal enemies-friends again-lovers.

And truly I think all enemies to lovers writers should take a quick peak at them and their relationship. It truly works so well because they knew each other before. Because they trusted each other once. Your greatest enemy was once your friend.

*I'm saying this because in most media I consume the "enemies" aren't really enemies in the first place. They're either just acquaintances who don't like each other or something of that origin. Catra and Adora really try to kill one and other multiple times during the duration of the series, so I'm not hesitant to call them enemies
