She’s absolutely                     livid by this stage, and struggling to believe that this                     man is supposed to be her soulmate; her other half;                     her everything. It’s utterly stupid to believe such                     nonsense, right? He couldn’t be. He isn’t even her type!

                  Actually, it didn't feel like much of anything.                   If he hadn't seen the string he wouldn't                   have even known it was there. But his                   skin was crawling under the mere knowledge                   that it was there. Weightless, untouchable but                   definitely attached to him. Which could only mean                   that intentional or not her stupid magic had touched him,                   was touching him right now, and that was an unbearable thought.

                  He doesn't do anything when she pulls him                   down to see eye to eye, other than glare at her.                   He likes to think that he could have easily pulled                   his chain out of her hand, but at the moment he's                   perfectly content with being able to properly show                   her the annoyance that's clear on his face and the                   anger that's making it's home in his eyes.

      "You just assume I won't understand, and hey maybe         I wouldn't but I'd still like to know what the hell this is         here for. Even if it's just been accidentally connected         to me because you are incompetent."
