Her eyes nearly welled with tears at that single action, and she cursed her hormones silently.

"I ...I don't want you to feel like you have to be here if you don't want to be," she breathed, having seen the concern that had washed over his features. The discomfort that had lingered for only a second in passing.

"Hey, babe....we need to talk for a minute, and I.... I don't even know where to start," Onyx breathed, a bit of concern laced into her voice, though she was hopeful. She would never force him to stay, but God....she hoped he wouldn't leave. She couldn't do this alone.

"You're.." Colt looked at her, chills went down his spine. He didn't know when it happened. He feared the day this might happen. All the training Hydra did.. all the deconditioning that Shield had done, none of it could have ever prepared him for this. "Pregnant.. you mean.." He dropped to his knees in front of her, hands going to her stomach, resting there softly. He leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to her stomach. "Then I will make sure you both are taken care of."

"I think you can have me any time you want, sweetheart," he breathed, his hands finding her waist before they slid to her hips, pulling her flush against him, letting her feel just what she did to him.

Ever since the void took over most of New York, there'd been a melancholy in John's bones that he couldn't seem to shake. Memories the void had managed to dredge up threatened to drown him every time he closed his eyes, and that was the last thing he wanted. To relive his failures over and over. To think about how far he'd fallen. Or... at least that the world thought he had. In truth, there were some things that others called mistakes that he still stood by. Things he would do the same all over again and never bat an eye. He'd been preoccupied when Bucky led the other in, but hearing his name he turned to face them, oceanic hues meeting emerald ones.

Surprise seemed to slip over his features before he regained composure. All in the blink of an eye. It could have easily been missed, but he had a feeling neither of them did. They were both smarter and more perceptive than the average person.

"So what... we're working with her? No offense," He muttered, looking to Loki before he glanced back to Bucky. "Have you lost all your mind? Or just the important part?"

Hesitance, was present in his tone to say the least. He remembered ever harrowing detail from a few years prior. He'd read her file. It was one Valentina had kept close at hand.

Broken Pair

Bucky had been adamant, they needed her in New York. After the incident with the Void, apparently the being that had caused that lost all memories. It would be better for everyone if a magic user was on hand in case there was another incident or if there were more conflicts.

She had been wary, of course after the last time she had been in New York she hadn't expected to ever be welcomed back. In truth she had been surprised to be allowed to settle on New Asgard but Thor had assured her it was alright, and that all had been forgiven. After Thanos, it seemed she was not seen as the most dangerous threat any longer which was good because she had no wish to be a threat to anyone.

She arrives at the tower in her usual black and green dress, her belongings would be transported via portal once she knew where she was staying, it seemed simpler that way.

Bucky comes to meet her, "Hey Loki, thanks for doing this," he says in way of greeting, and she just shrugs, "I'm not sure how much you think I'll be able to help but I'm happy to be here. Honestly anything to get away from my oaf of a brother for a bit.."

He nods, leading her inside from the elevator, "The rest of the team is around but Bob and John are here in the main area," he explains. A shaggy, brunette waves from a couch area and she smiles faintly in greeting before she sees the other man, a blonde getting coffee in what looks like a kitchen.

"Walker, this is Loki, Loki, this is John Walker," Bucky introduces before going to get his own cup of coffee.

"Hello..you and the others, you stay here at the tower too?" Loki asks curiously, looking around.
