Heya! Sorry this took so long, I haven't really super active on this blog anymore. I do wanna try to start posting again at least a little bit though, so once I'm through with the other requests, I'll try and make an effort to post more Ena AU's.

Anyway, for your MizuEnaKasa AU, I had a real lightning strike moment with this one and just had to get it out, so I hope you like it, even if it's pretty short and kinda rushed.

A mighty dragon, who guards over an old stone tower somewhere far, far away.

A beloved princess, rumored to be locked away within the tower as the dragons prisoner.

And a brave knight, set out on a long, dangerous journey to rescue her.

Fair warning that this idea ended up being really tragic and sad, which (while not unheard of) isn't typically the direction I like to go, and definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea, so if you'd rather have a happier au, please just ask and I will make you another one.

With that said, Content Warning for multiple mentions of character death.

(Also, this is another long one folks, so buckle up)

Once upon a time, there was a prince, named Rui Kamishiro.

This prince was a lonely one. He tended to spend most of his time in his personal study, messing around with magic and teaching himself the art of alchemy. This didn't earn him the greatest reputation across his or any other kingdoms, as most people were either scared of magic or didn't truly care for it as he did. There were few who could look past this and see the kind, caring prince that he was, but he treasured those close friends very deeply.

One such friend was his personal knight, Ichika Hoshino. She had started off as just another member of the kingdom's royal guard, one that Rui took a particular liking to. Ichika would stop by his study, and she would spend hours listening to him rambling about his work. And when she was later assigned to watch over Rui personally, the two only grew even closer.

No one was allowed to know the full extent of their connection, aside from a few close confidants, but that was alright. The late evenings gazing at the stars twinkling in the sky as Ichika told him all about the different constellations, or the nights spent snuggled under the prince's covers as she listened to Rui's heartbeat, or the early mornings they would hold each other close as they watched the sunrise before surrendering to their duties- that was more than enough for the two.

But one day, war broke out between them and another kingdom. The conflict was brutal, and Ichika had to be sent into the heat of battle to protect their people. She had left him with a soft kiss, and a promise that she would return to her prince as soon as she could. And he smiled, squeezing her gently as he told her he'd wait as long as it took.

The war came to an end, and Ichika Hoshino returned home in a coffin.

To say the prince was devastated would be an understatement. Ichika had been sweet and kind, hard working and diligent, intelligent as she was beautiful- and most importantly, she had been his Star.

Rui didn't know what to do anymore. Not a day went by that he didn't miss her, that the image of her pale face didn't haunt him, that he didn't wonder how he could possibly live without her.

But, maybe there was hope for their happy ending after all.

For as long as Rui could remember, he'd wanted to learn to control time. To be able to see and change the past or the future. Few believed him to be capable of such a feat- Ichika had been one of them.

With a sense of determination he had never felt before, he worked day and night to figure out the secrets to time travel. If he could do that- if he could go back in time, if he could make different choices- then maybe, just maybe, he could save his Star from her cruel, undeserved fate.

Finally, he had cracked it. He had crafted a device- a magical hourglass, which he could use just once to travel through space and time.

In the back of his mind, a voice screamed at him about the potential ramifications of such a thing. He had no clue how this would affect the world as he knew it, and the consequences for this could be dire.

But he didn't listen to that voice. All that mattered to him now was saving Ichika.

The first time he went back felt like a dream. Or waking up from a horrible nightmare. That's what he'd played it off as when he woke up long before the war, clinging to his beloved knight and sobbing hysterically as she held him comfortingly.

This time, when the war arrived once again, Rui tried to convince Ichika to stay behind. He told her that there were more than enough knights already fighting in the war, and he begged her not to go out there. Still, despite his desperate pleas, all she did was smile sadly at him and kiss him before she left, promising once again that she would be sure to return.

Of course, he knew that she wouldn't. And she didn't. He'd failed her.

So he tried again. He made the hourglass again, and he went back in time.

When he started training alongside the knights, hoping he could join the war effort and save her directly, all he'd achieved was watching her be impaled right before his eyes.

When he finally managed to make peace with the other kingdom, stopping the war before it could even start, it wasn't long before she was killed on a different mission instead.

When he grabbed her hand and begged her to run away together, to find someplace they could love each other freely, they had barely made it past the gates before she'd been shot down.

He had tried again. And again. And again. And again.

Nothing ever worked.

He went back again. He tried to rack his brain for any ideas, anything he hadn't tried before.

Nothing. He was all out of options by now.

When the war once again reared it's ugly head, and Ichika once again wished him farewell, he broke down.

He couldn't do this anymore. He couldn't keep losing her again and again. He couldn't keep failing her.

He begged again, desperately and pathetically, for her not to go. That he couldn't live with himself if she died out there.

Unexpectedly, she gave in this time. Somehow, the two were able to convince his parents that she was needed at the castle, to keep him safe.

Rui had never felt such relief in his life. This might work. Ichika might be okay now. This may have all been worth it.

Of course, things could never be that simple. Enemy knights found their way to the castle, intending to take out the royal family and end the war.

Of course, Ichika planned to protect her prince with her life. It was her job, and Rui was the most important thing in her life. If she had to die to insure his survival, then so be it.

But when the enemies came to take him, Rui gave himself up with open arms. So long as their leaders promised to stop the fighting once and for all, they could do with him as they pleased.

Ichika was shocked and horrified at this, knowing what they had in store for him. She tried to stop him, to convince him not to do this.

Still, despite her desperate pleas, all he did was smile sadly at her and kiss her, whispering against her lips that everything would be okay. That she would be okay.

Rui Kamishiro was executed shortly after this, and the war came to an end.

The knight was beyond devastated. Rui had been one of the kindest, most amazing people she had ever met- how was it fair for him to be murdered like this? How could anyone believe he deserved that? And how on earth was she supposed to go on now without him?

Some time after his execution, Ichika had been tidying up his old study when she made a curious discovery.

Tucked away, in the back of his desk drawer, were a collection of notes. Notes on time travel, and how to build a hourglass- one that would allow one to travel to the past.

Ichika had no idea when he created these, or why he had hidden it from her, but she didn't care. If these notes were true, if this worked, then maybe she could use them herself. She could save her prince from his unjust fate.

It took months for her to figure out how to put it together. Once she did, she hesitated only a moment before she went back.

Ichika was going to save her prince from death, or she was going to die trying.

Tsukasa Tenma and Nene Kusanagi are both well known, beloved performers in the music industry- Tsukasa is a pop singer, while Nene is an opera singer.

Despite the difference in musical genres, the two are long time rivals, having been at each other's throats since they were in high school.

They certainly didn't hate each other or anything- in fact, the two were both very impressed by the others skills and accomplishments, and they held each other in very high regards as fellow performers, viewing each other as motivation to always keep moving forward, to keep on improving.

But they wouldn't call each other friends either. Nene found the pop singer to be obnoxious and arrogant, and Tsukasa thought that her antisocial nature was off-putting and strange, especially for someone in the performance industry.

But, eventually, through a rather unorthodox and reluctant duo performance, the two discover that there's much more to each other than meets the eye. And maybe, as the pair grow closer, their rivalry could slowly shift into something a little bit different.

Hey y'all. I know I started this blog like, a month or two ago, and I was really active on here for at least the first few weeks or so, but i probably won't be posting on here super often anymore.

I've been playing Project SEKAI for over a year at this point, and I fully expected that I'd keep being obsessed with it for a good while longer, but I'm just not as into it as I used to be.

I don't wanna leave the fandom completely or anything. I still have some art stuff I wanna try and do for it, I wanna get back into playing it more regularly, and I do want to post some new au concepts on here occasionally. But, I've moved on to another fandom for the most part.

I know I still have a lot of asks to answer in my inbox, and I do plan on getting to all of them eventually. But it probably won't be anytime soon, and once they are all answered, asks/requests will be closed for the time being.

I am incredibly sorry. I truly didn't mean to start this blog literally at the tail end of my hyperfixation, but I guess that's just how it goes.

wd au but instead of being born and raised in the dark kingdom like is the common view, rui was actually one of the white knights in the past, but the dark kingdom manipulated him into believing that the other knights didn't actually care about him, and brought over to their side

i've had this idea since before nene5, and since before i learned about the thing in the last image:

Ohhh, that is such a cool idea. I honestly never even realized that the white knights or the new Nene set had that symbol, so this connection is news to me, lol. That is really interesting to think about.

So, how about this?

(full response under the cut because this is long as shit, lmao)

The four all met each other for the first time in their teen years. Rui Kamishiro and Nene Kusanagi had been close friends since childhood, but neither of them had met Tsukasa Tenma or Emu Otori before that fateful day.

The four had just been accepted into a training program, overlooked by the king of the Kingdom of Light, so that they could one day become a part of the Knights Of White, the trusted protectors of the land. It was the first day of training, and they were all so glad to be able to meet other people who wanted to keep their kingdom safe.

Rui, Nene, Emu, and Tsukasa quickly became close friends, and they promised that they would have each other's backs, no matter what happened.

And they did. For the next couple of years, the four of them trained tirelessly together. If any of them were sent on a mission, at least one other member of the friend group went as well. Whenever any of them were injured, the others made sure to patch them up and/or keep them company in the infirmary (with a healthy does of scolding for their reckless behavior).

The group were a package deal- even outside of their knight training (and eventual knight work), if you saw one of them, more often than not, the other three were close behind.

It wasn't until years after they first met that the tragedy struck.

Rui, Nene, Emu, and Tsukasa were on a mission together, the four of them and a couple of fellow knights investigating some activity within a nearby forest. It was supposed to be a simple mission; get in, look around, and get out.

However, the whole group was ambushed, and Rui ended up separated from the other knights. Scared, badly wounded, and hopelessly lost, he began wandering through the rapidly darkening woods, praying to whoever was up above that he could find a way out.

Unfortunately, he just got more lost, and when he settled against a tree to take a quick breather, he was discovered.

He didn't recognize the person, and he didn't trust her at first, but the woman was kind, patching him up the best she could and brought him to the base of whom she referred to as the Imperial Soldiers. Rui fought with her about it, as he'd been told that the leader they worked for was the ruler of another kingdom; the Kingdom of Dark. One that did not think highly of the Kingdom of Light, and who would tear him apart if they found him alone on their kingdom's soil.

But despite his hesitation, the woman insisted that it would be alright, and he reluctantly gave in.

The Imperial Soldiers ended up being much more welcoming and kind than he had expected. They clearly all trusted him as much as he did them (so not a lot), but they tended to his wounds more properly, and offered him a place to rest until he could return.

When he told his story to their head knight, explaining his mission and the ambush and the separation, the man told him something that has left his heart shattered into pieces to this very day.

That he had likely been left behind on purpose.

He protested at first, telling the soldier that his friends would never do something like that, that they wouldn't think of abandoning him, that they cared for him.

He will never forget that moment, after the man had left him to his own devices, so he could rest up and process what he had been told.

The woman who'd found him before grabbed his hand, clasping it in both of her own as she looked up at him. And said to him, with a pained look in her bright pink eyes, that she understood how he felt, and that he would be okay someday, too.

He waited for them to come for him. He waited for a rescue team to arrive, to take him back home to the Kingdom of Light. To see Emu and Nene and Tsukasa again, to hear their voices as they scolded him for not being more careful, and to feel their touches as they held his hands and replaced his bandages. To hold them close, to see that they cared, like he had before.

But they didn't. And by the time his injuries had healed and he could leave, he didn't see the point. He clearly wasn't wanted, so why would he go back to them?

Rui never forgot his old friends- the memories hurt, but the idea of forgetting them hurt even more, and so he continued to wear the Knights of White emblem on his belt. But he knew that he had to put that past behind him, and force on his future as an Imperial Soldier.

Meanwhile, the group of White Knights returned to the castle, informing the king of the ambush, as well as of Rui's disappearance. The king had ordered a larger group of much more experienced knights to look for him, and Emu, Nene, and Tsukasa all waited with bated breath for Rui to be found.

But he never was. For days, the knights searched every inch of those woods, looking in every nook and cranny, and Tsukasa and Emu had taken it upon themselves to look for him on their own, against both the king's and Nene's wishes.

But nothing was ever found, not a trance of Rui was ever uncovered, aside from a few patches of blood that lead only to a tree, and his sword which has been stuck into it's roots.

The forest was discovered to border the edge of the Dark Kingdom, a well known enemy of the Light Kingdom, and the king concluded that Rui had been taken by the Imperial Soldiers, and that nothing more could be done for him at that moment. That his army may not even be strong enough to defeat them, and that it was too high a risk for one measly soldier.

Emu, Nene, and Tsukasa argued with the king, begging and pleading for something more to be done for their friend, but their pleas fell on deaf ears.

They were all distraught, as were Rui's family, and all of the other knights could clearly see the effects his disappearance had on them.

Nene had even considered leaving the Knights of White, as it just didn't feel the same without her childhood friend there, though she decided that she should keep on going, to protect everyone she could in Rui's name. Emu pushes herself even harder, determined not to let Rui's possible death be in vain, and to not let something like this happen on her watch ever again.

And Tsukasa? Tsukasa had never been more angry in his damn life.

Of course, nobody in the Kingdom of Light was too fond of the Kingdom of Dark. Everyone and their grandma has heard story after story of them, of the things they've done, if they haven't experienced it themselves, and Tsukasa is no exception. He knows how dangerous they are, and that challenging them is essentially a death wish, especially all on your own.

But this is the third time that these Imperial Soldiers had taken someone from him. His brother, his sister, and now one of his closest friends? Tsukasa will not let them get away with this any longer. This is personal.

And that's where I'm gonna stop, lol. What happens next? Will Emu and Nene join Tsukasa in his quest for vengeance? What will happen when Rui finally reunites with his old knight friends? Will the four of them ever reconcile? That's for you to decide!

You got it! Sorry I took so long to respond, I really struggled to think of something for you, and it isn't even that long. I'm sorry if this feels really half-assed in general, this gave me so much trouble, even after I settled on an idea I really liked (つ╥﹏╥)つ I hope it's alright, at least.

For as long as they existed, the seasons had been blessed with their own Spirit.

Kohane, the Spirit of Spring.

These four spirits had existed since the cycle began, watching over the land from the background and bringing forth the different seasons throughout each year. Growing closer and closer as time went on, watching as the world they knew slowly faded into nothing.

Of course! Sorry this took awhile, I really struggled to come up with something ૮(˶ㅠ︿ㅠ)ა I hope you like it, though!

Kohane Azusawa is a professional photographer. When she's not taking snapshots of the most important moments of people's lives, or hunched over her laptop downloading and printing out photo after photo, she's taking walks around the city, photographing anything that catches her eye.

There are two things in Shibuya in particular that she loves getting a chance to snap pictures of- Checkmate, the city's resident magical girl, and The Wolf, the resident villain.

If anyone were to ask why Kohane loved photographing them as much as she did, she wouldn't be able to tell them. Maybe it was a sense of admiration for Checkmate and her work as a magical protector. Or maybe it was the fact that Checkmate and The Wolf's interactions were always so photogenic, and their fights were always incredible to witness in person.

Or maybe Kohane just thought the two were very, very attractive.

Whatever the reason is, Kohane always looks forward to seeing the two when she's out for a walk, even if The Wolf typically brought chaos with her where she went... Checkmate knew how to handle her.

Hello! And sure thing! Sorry this took a while, I've been struggling with responding to requests lately (｡◞︿◟｡) I'm working on it.

Shizuku Hinomori and Airi Momoi are both streamers together, with quite the large and dedicated following online.

Mafuyu Asahina is a solo music producer, living all on her own after moving away from her mom the second she graduated highschool. She doesn't go out much, only if she either needs to buy something or her friends drag her places so she doesn't just rot away in her room.

One of the few things that never fails to bring her joy in her life (besides her friends, obviously) are Shizuku and Airi's regular streams. They always have something fun and interesting to share with or show off to their followers, and they both have such friendly, cheerful demeanors when on camera.

Even though she knows it's likely all fake, and even though she's well aware they don't even know of her existence, let alone truly care about her, Shizuku and Airi's content still manages to break up the monotony of Mafuyu's everyday life, and she's grateful for that.

One day, Mizuki once again showed up at her apartment unexpectedly, practically begging her to come to a nearby cafe so she could meet an old friend of Ena's. Mafuyu shrugged, going along with her friend's shenanigans per usual. What's the worst that could happen?

What she definitely hadn't expected to happen that day, was to have the chance to meet in person, face to face, with The Airi Momoi.

Okay, I'm going to try to explain what the asks are intended for on this blog, solely because I'm not sure what you mean by "submit that ask" (which is totally on me, please don't feel bad about that). I'm not great at explaining things, so if it still makes no sense, I apologize. /Gen

The ask box for this blog is for people to request au concepts for me to come up with. You can request specific characters or relationships you want an au centered around, or specific cards or other canon material you want them based on, specific au genres or tropes, things like that.

For example, if you wanted to request something with mizushiho, you'd send in an ask, and I would come up with an au concept for you. Or you could be a little more specific and ask for an au based on your favorite Mizuki or Shiho cards, and I would find a way to tie them together into an au concept. If that makes sense.

If you're still confused, I've answered a number of other requests already, so that should give you a better idea of what asks are for.

Please do not apologize for misunderstanding. I didn't realize people might get confused, and I should probably consider explaining that a bit clearer in the pinned post. I hope I was able to clear things up for you here, at least.

You've got it! Sorry this took so long, it was way too hard for me to come up with something, lol. I hope you enjoy it, though.

(It's a bit of a long one. Hope that's alright.)

Mafuyu Asahina and Rui Kamishiro are both merfolk- Mafuyu is a squid, and Rui is a jellyfish.

The two have known each other since they were small, and despite their very different personalities, they were much closer to each other than they were to most people. They balanced each other out- Rui would drag her into all his most recent shenanigans, and Mafuyu would talk him out of his more dangerous ideas.

One night, Rui swam up to her with his all too familiar wild grin, and Mafuyu immediately knew he had something up his sleeve. What she hadn't expected was for him to suggest that they swim up to the nearby shore, so that he could show her the sunrise.

Any merfolk going anywhere near the water's surface was strictly forbidden, especially during the day- humans were often hanging out at the beach, and it was incredibly dangerous for them to know that merfolk existed.

Mafuyu was against the idea at first, but Rui was able to convince her that there was nothing to worry about. He had visited the shore numerous times by himself, and he'd never seen a human swimming there so early. With that reassurance, Mafuyu allowed Rui to take her hand in his and lead her up to watch the sunrise.

Early that morning, before the sun was up, Shizuku Hinomori dragged her boyfriend, Tsukasa Tenma, down to the beach near their place. As the sun rose up from the horizon and signified a brand new day, Tsukasa collected seashells from the shoreline as Shizuku dove into the ocean for a morning swim.

Shizuku had swam in that water many times in her life, but she's never done it so early in the morning, and it may have been her new favorite thing ever. She loved the feeling of the icy cold water all around her as the sunlight slowly began to glisten across its surface, and being able to glance back and see Tsukasa gathering more seashells to scatter across their shared home never failed to bring a smile to her face.

She'd swam out a little further than usual, and while she could still see the shore from where she was, Shizuku thought it best to head on back to dry land, lest she get all turned around and lost. Before doing that, she dipped under the gentle waves, hoping to take one last good look at the world below for the morning.

And soon found herself face to face with a sea person. With another one not too far away.

The three were startled, and Shizuku breathed in the sea water from her shock. As the human swam back up to the surface to cough up the water, Rui grabbed Mafuyu and swam off as fast as he could.

Shizuku took some deep breaths before dripping back under the water to try and get another look at them. She caught only a glimpse of the two swimming away behind some rocks, deeper into the deep, dark ocean.

As she tried her hardest to wrap her head around what she'd just seen, she suddenly felt strong arms around her waist and Tsukasa's worried voice in her ears, asking if she was alright.

After Tsukasa pulled her back to the shore, Shizuku explained what had happened and what she had seen. He wasn't really sure if he believed her, and honestly, she wasn't sure if she believed what she thought she'd seen either, but they both agreed that it wouldn't hurt to keep an eye out. Maybe there really were sea people out there, somewhere in that deep ocean.

Rui and Mafuyu had no plans of returning to that shore anytime soon, not after being seen by a human, however briefly. But maybe, just maybe, the four could all see each other again someday...

Emu Otori is the youngest child of the royal family, whose favorite pastime is sneaking past the palace walls to go on all sorts of little adventures.

Kanade Yoisaki is the princess's personal knight, tasked with keeping her safe, especially when she inevitably escapes the castle to who knows where.

An Shiraishi is a piano player, who often plays in a nearby village, and has grown far too used to seeing the princess and her knight in the audience of her performances.

What sort of wacky hijinks will these three get up to together? And what kind of relationship will they all form in the process? That's for you to decide!
