Minhyuk was, for once in his life not particularly late, but honestly it made sense, he was too excited to meet Yukown again after what felt like ages or centuries even, but was too long either way. He had a small, five by five centimeters big box in which he had stored 20 small cranes, that he made with Yukwon in mind. That made 214 cranes done, 786 to go. He almost ran the last street, hoping Yukwon wasn’t there yet. He got the other’s text at the exact time when he stopped right in front of him, grinning.

“I’m here.”

He’s always disliked the cold.

Perhaps being accustomed to working in the sun, by the surf and the beach, was the cause for the tips of his ears to turn into a bright shade of scarlet and stand out amongst the people on the street. Counting the number of steps it takes within the boundary of each block of pavement, he slowly makes his way towards the agreed meeting spot at a nearby waffle and pancake joint. He struggles to recall the last time he sunk his teeth into the sugary treat, but if he had to guess, it would be almost over half a year considering he was staying out of town during that time. Slipping his hands into the warmth of his thick coat, he pulls out his phone before tapping away with frozen fingertips.

He felt embaressed about knowing so little about his fellow idol, a hotness spreading through his cheeks, in what he hoped would be the world’s least colored blush. “I have to be honest, I haven’t yet, but I’ll do it as soon as I get home today,” he promised, genuinely meaning it and not just being polite. He knew how much music meant to their idols.

The first coffee

––& NODDING HER HEAD, SHE gives him two thumbs up. “Yes, you get extra bonus points for knowing our existence.” She laughs. “Of course, I believe some of my members have a few of your songs on their mp3 players too. And have you not listened to our music yet, sunbae?” She tilts her head to the side, continuing to walk forward.

“I live in the 1750s still, don’t you know?” he joked, winking at her. “Oh you know Taeil? And he hasn’t introduced us yet? That’s just mean,” he feigened a frown, but it broke back into a smil efast enough, for her to know he only joked. “Oh, that’s my favourite kind of deal, but I’ll only agree if you pick the cafe,” he smiled, thinking about texting Taeil to tell him who he’s just met.

Chloe giggled at his line, flushing even more at the uncommon term of endearment. “Mi’lady? Didn’t think anyone even said that anymore.” She teased him for using such a term from a time long ago but she loved that he had all the same. “Through Taeil.. I just haven’t made my way around the rest of the group.” She shrugs not really having a reason for not having met the idol. “I think we were in each other’s way. So, how about you buy my coffee and I buy you a pastry or something, deal?”

“Has it really been that long? I feel so old,” he joked, “it feels like a week, two weeks tops.” He thought about all the coffees, cinema visits, movie nights and moments that seemed just a year ago lost forever, but were now his reality yet again. He felt grateful and at the same time he wished that this temptation of closeness hadn’t come back around, he didn’t want to face it ever again, while wanting it more than anything all the same. It was so confusing.

“Good food choice,” he countered, grinning at here and winking at her cheekily. He could smell her shampoo and practically feel the heat coming off her body, but they weren’t exactly touching yet, munching on their food happily and just enjoying the movie. He appreciated how easy she was to get along with, how easy they fell back into some old habits and how it was even easier to develop new ones.

“Do you maybe want me to get you something to drink?” he suggested as he got up, knowing very well where she kept glasses and the ocsional juice as he was comfortable enough at her apartment to do small things like that. She looked so cute on the couch, enjoying the food that he really didn’t want to disturb her.

“This special movie watching occasion? Mmm, it is special ~ It’s officially been a year since we met… again!” she exclaimed happily, wrapping her arms around him to embrace him close to her small frame for a moment before biting down on her lower lip. Technically they’ve known one another for far too long, but since they were separated before she considered the year being a complete do over in whatever relationship they shared. “I’ll try my best to work with that DVD player.. it hates me too. Just means it’s time to go shopping for a new one sometime soon”

Yumi finally got the DVD in the player, a soft sigh of content soon brushing past her lips as she brushed her fingertips through her dark locks and made her way back to the couch where he was at now — She sat down, bringing her legs to cross one another as she leaned forward and examined all the food he had laid out for the two of them to share. It looked absolutely perfect, and he stomach would agree with her; growling once the scent had crept into her nostrils and got stuck. “Mmm, life is good as long as everything keeps on going as it is right now” — She admitted freely, a smile playing across her features this time around. She was happy with the way things turned out, the way they were still so close. 

She held the food close to her and began to eat happily, her head nodding a couple of times in agreement with his next statement as well. “This was the ebst idea ever..” ~ She couldn’t help but to chuckle, shaking her head some as she brought her gaze towards the television where the movie was beginning to play. Yumi scooted closer to the male, her head resting on his shoulder for a moment before she sat back up straight to continue eating — “Good movie choice, oppa ~”

I’ve been wanting to do this for a very long time. As I’ve been roleplaying for more than four years now or about that amount of time. I seriously never thought I would stick with it. Thinking this would be a one time try kind of thing only, and yet here I am still here. Truth be told, there were a lot of ups and downs that happened. And for the first time, being Jiae really brought me a lot of great people. I’ve learned who my real friends are, how things can really change drastically. And most importantly, the best part was meeting such great people here on tumblr. People that I’ve just met here as Jiae, or others who I’ve met from my first muse ever. Which brought me the reason into making this post. Having almost 270+ followers: even though there are some where we don’t interact, but admire each other from a far. Some that had small talk threads with my muse, and those who stuck with me through thick and thin. All of you are important to me, whether we’ve talked or not. Through this post, since it’s a new year. I’m hoping to build more friendships and relations for Jiae as well as to thank each and every one of you for your presence here on my dash. For the following I will be putting some special messages who have been with me for these four years, and some people I would love to interact with and admire from a far. Who are aka. senpai worthy.

He waited for the door to be opened and stared at the paint just above her door, lost in thought, so he had to snap out of it once she opened, “hey there,” he smiled, letting her help her with the bags as he took of his jacket and shoes, “i hoped you’d like it. I bought up most of the restaurant, just for this special movie watching occasion,” he joked, looking at her relaxed appearance and bright eyes that all but shone right back at him. “I suppose it’s best if we eat it while it’s at least a bit warm, still. I’ll get the plates and you insert the movie, because I’m pretty sure your DVD player hates me,” he turned around, going for the plates instinctively as he knew where they were. Take out usually didn’t rquire them, but since they were going to share, plates seemed like the better option.

She looked adorable and he could tell she was just sleeping, because her eyes were blinking rapidly at the sudden exposure to light and since some of her movements that he knew well were slow and prolongued. He brought the plates and plopped down next to her on the couch, opening up the first packs of food, using chopsticks to put some on his and some on her plate  simultaneously, while she wresteled with the remote and the movie settings, chuckling under his breath and starting to eat some of the food.

“Life sure knows how to be good sometimes, doncha think?” he grinned happily, handing her her food when the movie started playing and she sat down right next to him.

“Chinese was a great idea!”

To her, Chinese sounded rather good — at least they could say they were some of the first few people to try out the new restaurant before others had a chance to. A soft smile played across her face as she heard the request to unlock the main entrance door; which she did without hesitation. 

She had fell asleep and was asleep the entire time, rather than cleaning up and making herself look somewhat decent for the other — Though she didn’t ever have to worry about that with him, he had saw her many times at her best and very worst. Slowly Yumi rolled out of her bed and stood up, her arms stretched above her head as a soft yawn brushed past her nude lips. 

She was beyond happy that he had agreed to come over, every moment she got to spend with him was the best — She somehow felt how she use to each time she was with him. It was almost as if time turned back to when they were younger and things were much simpler. Yumi brought her hand up to brush a few strands of her dark hair back away from her face and behind her ear as she walked down the hallway, making sure everything looked okay enough for the other to occupy her home for the night; Which thankfully it was. 

After her quick inspection she made her way to the door, grabbing a black hoodie on the way and slipped it on over her head so she could stay warm. Her hand extended out, grabbing the door handle and opening it up before he really had a chance to knock again — Dark brown orbs settled upon the males face, her lips slowly tugged upwards into a bright smile as she saw him. “hey there handsome ~” she winked playfully at him and reached out, taking the bag of food and turning on her heels, inching back towards the living room to sit the bag down on the coffee table. “This smells so good”
