Spends most of his time just quietly watching you. It's not that he doesn't care, it's just easier for him to observe and step in only when he thinks you actually need help.

His one weird thing is he's giving you a bath. You're not going to bed all drunk and sweaty and sloppy. You're getting washed, scrubbed, skincare done, hair blow dried, THEN off to bed with you. If you threw up, then double the soap.

Will sit up next to you until you fall asleep just in case you need something. Leaves a glass of water on your bedside just in case but doesn't tell you to drink it. Really, he's just scared it'll make you feel more sick or throw up more.

(I spent two hours on the sims on build/buy mode; I’m on an interior decorating mood rn)

What’s their favorite room to shop for? Who’s being extra particular over color schemes? Who prefers a big department store (like ikea), and who’s preferring going antique store hopping? Who ends up getting distracted/fixated upon random things (like curtains, kitchen appliances, linens)? Etc, etc… (please have fun with it!)

Majima Goro

Clueless and lost as all hell in the entire process. Fully understands that if the two of you are going to live together, you will have to furnish said living space but he knows nothing about furnishings.

It's not that he has bad taste or is stupid, he's just used to living an extremely bare bones lifestyle when it comes to home decor. His days working at the Grand were especially lean in regards to personal effects so it's highly likely that his house or apartment currently has the bare minimum requirements with little to no color or pizazz.

Tentative by excited to explore this new avenue with you, only because it's with YOU. Anyone else would've gotten the stink eye from him, probably.

Gets lost in large furniture stores, mostly because he gets distracted by some kitchen doohickey that he doesn't recognize and spends time trying to examine it and guess what it's used for. When he loses sight of you, he'll just wander the aisles yelling your name. It's easier if you just keep an eye on him.

Always a little surprised when you ask his opinion on things like colors and patterns. His style is a little chaotic overall but would it really be a home with Majima if it didn't have some chaos?

One thing you can bet on is the man is sitting in all the chairs and laying on matresses before buying em. Don't let him check out the cutlery sets, by the way. He'll want the pricey one.

Joon-Gi Han

Even though his current living space is pretty minimalistic, Joon-Gi has a pretty decent wealth of knowledge about various aspects of interior design. Blame it on him going down some YouTube rabbit hole in the middle of the night.

Isn't particular about what kind of store you go to, but if he happens to walk by an interesting looking home decor store, he will want to at least take a peak. Out of the three, he's the most likely to go to as many stores as possible rather than one.

Carefully examines every individual object, no matter the size or importance. Constantly weighing the differences between price, material, durability, etc.

Pretty good taste in things like bedspreads, towels, and curtains but isn't headstrong in his opinions. He's more like a "Oh, that towel would look with that floor mat..." type of guy.

His favorite room to shop for is the bathroom. Likes a nice set of towels in various sizes and a cute organization rack for things like skincare products.

Good at buying most electronics, like a television or computer. Unsure of what to buy for the kitchen when it comes to fancy things, like a stand mixer. Mostly just amazed at the amount of gadgets you can attach to it.

Saeko Mukoda

Very self sufficient and has a pretty nailed down personal aesthetic for herself and her house. Honestly, she could probably go furniture shopping by herself and get it all done in a weekend.

She's always keeping her budget in mind so she's the most likely of the 3 to go to a secondhand or antique store. Especially fond of going there for larger pieces of furniture, like a coffee table.

Her overall house aesthetic is clean but not minimalistic. Think warm but bright tones, not over saturated though. She doesn't mind adjusting this to accommodate your taste as long as her personal areas remain undisturbed, like the nightstand on her side of the bed or her makeup organizer.

Loves shopping for bedroom items. A good mattress and a fluffy pillow are a must for our working girl. Always buys two sets of matching bedspreads so that when one is dirty, the other can be used and still look cute while the other is in the wash.

Her secret weapon is that she knows the best way to organize items in the house. Great at getting useful organizers like baskets, holders, organizers, etc. Makes the most out of her space.

Do not ask her to buy electronics, she will just buy what's newest, which unfortunately means sometimes she will buy what's most expensive.

Justice for emo Daigo, I will not lie to you I miss his silly emo phase. He's still emo at heart to me...

Once Daigo became chairman, he kind of knew instinctively he would have to make some wardrobe changes. It wasn't like his mom came in and told him what's what, he just sort of made a mental note that he probably couldn't just waltz around in a puffy coat and chains anymore.

Shockingly, the jewelry was the part he struggled with. Losing the jacket or slicking his hair back just came with general practice, although some days if he was particularly tired, he might forget to take care of his hair before going to his office...

Speaking of hair, it did take some time for him to really find a look he enjoyed. Sometimes you would catch him in the bathroom just messing around with his hair, cocking his head at his own reflection in the mirror before grumbling and putting his hair another way instead.

Even after getting a suit that's custom tailored to fit him, Daigo has never felt 100% comfortable wearing it. Something about it always feels a little stiff to him, and you can kind of tell. He seems to tense up his shoulders more when he's wearing the suit versus any other outfit of his.

Having said, you did notice that he stopped slouching as much since he started dressing nicer and working as the chairman. Maybe it's just him playing the part, but you have to admit he looks a little regal...

You'll catch him occassionally rumaging through his old jewelry pile, fiddling with the necklaces and rings. He does miss having a particular style so he's never thrown them out.

In the first week of him taking on this new job, he will be asking you on the daily what you think of his look. It's less of a confidence issue but more of him genuinely asking if he looks like a dweeb or if he's dressing in a way that's actually totally stupid and he just doesn't know it.

Having said that, don't baby or coddle him. If his tie is crooked, please tell him or he'll realize it later and be like "Did it look like that all day?!" and give himself flack for looking goofy.

The facial hair is the only thing that stayed the same. He was never one to let that get messy anyways.

Tallest, widest shoulder man in the entire onsen... Seriously, it doesn't matter how far he sinks into the water, his head and shoulders are just fully sticking out. Man's the size of a building.

As a date, the two of you get a lot of stares, especially from the staff, because Saejima is such a burly guy by comparison. It looks like a giant guy walking around behind some small, unassuming person who doesn't know there's a giant muscular guy right behind them.

The vibe is very much that Saejima looks dark and stormy but is actually a little sunshine on the inside. Always very polite with staff. He does have to ask for extra towels a lot, he usually needs at least 2 to dry off from a basic shower so... you do the math.

Quite a traditionalist, has his own little routine. Nothing like a traditional Japanese meal after a hot bath at the onsen, especially with fresh ingredients. Man's living the life out here, honestly!

As much as Saejima would just love to get spicy with you, he's kind of shy, funnily enough. It's one thing if you two are sharing a room for the night, in which case he'll be popping off but while the two of you are busy soaking in the water, he'll just kind of go red in the face thinking about what you might be doing on the other side of the fence, since an onsen is typically separated by gender.

If it's particularly empty at the onsen, he'll talk to you through the fencing. Might even talk dirty to you if he's feeling brave. His deep voice can drive you crazy, even if he's a little flustered himself.

Regardless, you WILL be getting pounded in the room after a good soak, the two of you aren't getting all hot and steamy in them baths to not put it to good use! Hope you're ready.

ISHIN TIME AGAIN let's go, also nice pick of characters anon, I almost never see people write about Sasaki and Nakaoka so I'm eager to give it my best.

Nakaoka Shintaro

Laidback but intelligent is a great description of him in general. He's a perceptive and logical guy, great at handling things like finances. Definitely more of a longterm, settle down type of partner.

Not shy at all, actually. Typically works up the courage to confess by himself and is a clear communicator. Very kind and gentle but always to the point.

He is quite aware that he's an older bachelor which is one of his few internal struggles. He also is still wrestling with the death of his boss, Yoshida Toyo. Although this particular event doesn't weigh too heavily on his day to day life, he will sometimes want to talk about it.

Bit of a doting figure, type of guy to be like "Ah, your sandal is starting to break..." or to offer to mend a hole in your yukata. Has some handyman skills stowed away.

When it comes to dates, his one weakness is he can be indecisive about where to go and what to do. Prefers to collaborate with you on ideas or activities rather than just drag you somewhere because he said so.

Overall, a very good partner, great for a domestic and longterm relationship. Not a very sexual person unfortunately, but he is a warm and cozy person when it comes to affection at home.

Todo Heisuke

He's a little bit of a fox, constantly has an air of mischief about him. You can blame it on his young age, he won't take offense. He's well aware he's the youngest Shinsengumi captain, but that didn't stop him from doing well so he doesn't see it as a setback or insult.

Having said that, he is prone to boyish tendencies. He's kind of a troublemaker, probably the type of kid to play with firecrackers or sneak rice crackers when he wasn't supposed to. He's less devilish these days but you can still see that glint in his eye or hear that snarkiness in his voice.

Energetic and talkative. Easy to talk to and he's always down to do activities with you. More likely than not, the two of you will go on several dates long before either of you confess, or even realize you two are into each other.

Big man with a surprisingly big heart. His strong and stoic aura and commanding demeanor is a far cry from who he is when it comes to romance.

A disciplined and respected man who carries himself with good manners, although he can be prone to stubborness. As leader of the Mimawarigumi, he can also be somewhat hotheaded.

When it comes to romance, he'll likely court you in a more old fashioned sense, doing it all proper like and then some. It may seem dumb or weird but really it's more so that Sasaki is the type of guy to hold great reverance for familial relationships. He thinks a romantic relationship with a long term partner should be respected as such.

Once he starts letting his guard down, you'll see that he's much more of a normal man than people make him out to be in the rumors. Some of his characteristics still hold true, like his stubborness, but deep down he's a guy who needs companionship like anyone else.

Does enjoy a good drink every now and then and will welcome you to do the same with him. Doesn't get to go out on the town much as work keeps him fairly busy but when he does, it's usually with you.

Keeps a rather organized household. If you end up living with him or marrying him, you can expect it to be a fairly beautiful home. He has a bit of money to his name so you'll at least be comfortable, he'll make sure of it.

Husband-mode Adachi is the cuddliest guy. Big bear hugs whenever he comes home. Always smiling when he sees you. You've never seen a man so happy to see his wife long past the honeymoon is over.

Actually quite a bit of a domestic, loves to help clean or cook, although be careful with the latter. His cooking skills are still a new thing. He's trying!

Nothing melts his heart like a homecooked meal, especially after a long day. For things like his birthday, he loves nothing more than his favorite meal made with love by you!

SCREEEEEEEEE CCCCH yes this has been stewing in my brain for days on end, I am sorry to make you wait so long. I go insane and black out when I think of Majima, it's an incurable illness probably. Here ya go!

Also this is totally open ended for a part 3 if you so desire, did it on purpose just in case y'all wanted it teehee.

After some amount of time, it kinds of becomes a stalemate. Majima keeps trying to find the most subtle, wraparound, complicated ways to sniff out what your feelings are and you get so good at deflecting it that it's second nature.

In reality, you are both two peas in a pod, two fools I should say. Neither of you are willing to give up your stubborn act which only makes you both dig your heels in harder. If you were to ask Saejima, who by the way totally knows everything, he'd say you guys are made for each other.

Inside, Majima is seething (in a cute way, not an enraged way if that's possible; perhaps only possible for someone like him, honestly...) He'll eventually break and tell Saejima or even Kiryu everything and ask what he should do and they'll both just shrug and ask him why he hasn't just straight up asked you what your feelings are, which only upsets him more.

In the meantime, your time spent closely with Majima means you get taken on way more important missions and have more important tasks. There's some office gossip starting to float up that the two of you are screwing... how embarassing given that you two haven't even hugged yet!

Unlike you, if Majima ever hears someone so much as utter a rude word about you, they are at the bare minimum receiving a stern smack on the head... with a very large and heavy object.

It's actually through this that Majima realizes... he cares about you?! And not just in a boss-looking-out-for-his-trusted-employee way. If a fight breaks out while you guys are working, his first concern is covering you. When a problem arises, he confides his concerns in you.

Now the man's realizing it's less about finding out if you're into him for fun and more finding out how you feel about him because, as embarassing as it sounds, there's a part of him that desperately and intrinsically NEEDS to know this information.

Years and years of going solo, quite literally a lone wolf, has made him tough as hell but that means his heart is softer than ever. Can he REALLY ask you what you think of him? Is that selfish?

Meanwhile, you've grown to really treasure these moments with Majima where he lets his guard down a little. In close calls during fights, you've seen the way he's looked at you and it almost makes you wish you were in close calls more often, if not for the fact it stresses him out so much.

Now it's less of a cat and mouse game for you two and more of a genuine relationship. He can start to be himself around you and to his surprise that feels... good. When you're out sick or busy on an errand, he finds himself smoking alone on the rooftop, peaking down at the city below wondering if he can spot you in the crowd.

Little does he know, you're looking out for him too from down below. As you wander the streets with your fellow coworkers, you can't help but wonder if he's up there right now, his watchful eye looking out for you like an angel on your shoulder.

I come from the Kashiwagi eating habits post and omg xd it got me thinking ...

Where does that come from? Like... The fact that he would eat ANYTHING... Is it him just being a weird little guy or because he's learned that hunger is cruel the hard way? :( so he got used to eat basically anything despite the flavor, and got some weird combinations he likes as a result?
