Vergil had been preparing for this meeting for a while. He wanted everything to be organized. Then again, he wanted everything to always be organized, so it wasn't much of a surprise. He told no one of this meeting other than Kat, who he trusted could keep quiet of it for him.
Vergil didn't dare take his car, in fear of being followed and not knowing it. So, he walked. It was a long and cold trip, but he was always cold, hence the multiple layers of warm clothing. His black coat was lined in fur for this purpose, although it normally went unnoticed.
He stood now, waiting beside a building, looking as causal as possible. Vergil found himself complaining to his own conscience. He complained about them being late and about the cold he felt, mostly. Vergil had been waiting for a bit when he heard footsteps approaching. He turned his head to spot a woman approaching. Vergil stood straight, walking out toward her.
Freak of Nature w/yamamotoforvergil
This again, every day as she got out of work people lined the corners of the street to sell their goods no matter what they were. The working girl up on fourth caught a client early she might get enough to pay rent this month. She did live next door to her.
The rule of thumb was if you didn’t look at something before four blocks was traveled you’d get jumped by ugliest (demons from Kaye’s senses, she thought she might be the only person to see them.) She wasn’t so crazy as to think there would be a peaceable way out so she prepped for a fight again.
Packing the keys and important bits in her purse so they wouldn’t fall out or get taken she marched out of the office again with a light grey hue on her skin that could only be seen by demons or angels whichever they were.
It dawned on her halfway home there were none of the beasts around to attack her. Either her feelings were off or gangland had suddenly lost its little enforcer group. This made the redhead nervous more than walking out the alley ever did. She hustled to the center of town where she had hoped she would meet with the person she had arranged a meeting with two weeks ago while the area was less crowded by bad auras.
