I saw your message a few days ago, but I wasn't in the right mind to reply, though I think I’m still not because I ended up having another breakdown today and crying over my problems.

The main issue is that my display tablet stopped working after a Windows update, and now I’m unable to continue producing art for the Siren Venti concept. The past five weeks have been spent trying to find a fix for it, but nothing has worked. I even went as far as updating my bios because I’ve read that this solved the problem for someone, but it didn’t for me, and today I updated to Windows 11. Still doesn't work. I honestly don't know what to do at this point, buy a new 400-500 euros tablet every time a Windows update breaks the one I currently have? I can't afford to do such a thing.

It’s silly, maybe, I don’t know. I haven't drawn since 2022 due to mental health issues, and now, when I was finally starting to get out of that state thanks to writing fanfiction, it just decided to deprive me of this activity. Though, I feel that I wouldn't have had such a regative reaction to this if I hadn't been working on Siren Venti for a few months now. I guess I got really upset over my slowness.

In terms of writing, I haven’t encountered issues that made me cry; I only had some difficulties writing one of the scenes, which had to be rewritten four times, and now I’m out of ideas for the other two scenes, but other than that, the writing part is doing fine.

Today I had a dream in which nameless bard was Venti and he lived in the current Mondstadt. He then somehow died, so ‘Venti’ had to take his form and continue living his life without raising suspicion that nameless was dead.

I have written almost 2.000 words for the Yan Siren Venti concept today, making it 5.000 words in total in the Word document. Good job me.

And I'm not finished; this is only the first draft for 2 points of the 6 that I have so far that go on about his design, personality, and some other things.

I only posted finished stuff and some random shit, like a vent and a question, but I guess I could probably also share pieces of text from things I'm working on when I'm inactive for long periods.

You flipped to the next page. It was full of illustrations of sirens in various forms; some were beautiful, others quite terrifying. It mentioned how every siren was different, ranging from their appearance to their powers and personalities. It was also said that sirens possessed traits such as bioluminescence, which allowed some parts of their tails and even their hair to glow in the dark, like Mother Nature’s lit-up superstars. The book also mentioned hydrokinesis and compared it to Teyvat’s vision system; the only difference was that a siren didn’t need a vision to control hydro.

Of course, it also mentioned their infamous voices. It said that when a siren sang, it could create an ‘enchanting melody’ capable of putting any listener in a trance. It was like a spellbinding ribbon, luring seafarers with its hauntingly beautiful melody, clinging to their souls, and daring them to come closer—just a little bit closer—over the edge of the ship.

I'm honestly tired lol but I sure am having a lot of fun merging Genshin with Sirens.

Contemplating whether I should change my username or leave it as it is. Obviously, 'yan' comes from yandere, and while I'm quite interested in this trope and enjoy writing about it, it's not really something I want to focus on 100%

I'm making some art for the Siren Venti post, and I'm stuck between using this username or the one I've always used to sign my drawings. I could probably write both on the final piece, but I'm also kind of scared that someone who knows me will find this account and discover that I have written and plan to write smut… 

Guess I now understand why I see posts on r/fanfiction of people saying they have two accounts, one for regular fics and another for smut. I, however, don't care if I'm using the same account to write both; it's the art part that I'm having an issue with.
