THE 12 DARES OF XMAS
Tonight on YAPPFACTOR, we're getting festive. And mean.
We'll be playing THE 12 DARES OF XMAS.
All this game involves is names, and cruelty.
Darling viewers, just tweet in with the name of the contestant whose dare you want Jake to do. Each contestant correlates with something evil.
Jake will endeavour to do all 12 dares before the close of The X Factor. Will he do it? Only time will tell...

The good news: This weekend we're serving up not one, but TWO slices of YappFactor for your amusement - on Saturday night and during Sunday night's final.
The bad news: Saturday is your LAST CHANCE to play YappFactor bingo. So make the most of it. Scribble out those cliches as they happen and you could win a VERY special prize. Or a moderately special one, anyway.

If you've ever watched #YAPPFACTOR (and if you haven't then you are missing out, my friend) then you know this man.
His name is Jake. He's a nice guy. He likes simple pleasures, like beer, and mutilating barbie dolls.
We've looked after him these last few weeks. Let him enjoy himself on the show; do what he wants.
This Sunday is the last #YAPPFACTOR. And it's time for the production staff - and the viewers - to get their own back.
Jake is going to drink things. Jake is going to eat things. Jake is going to do things. None of these things will be voluntary, none of them will be pleasant, and all of them will be chosen by you.
This Sunday, the power is in your hands. Don't miss out.

The beginning of the end
it is a time for celebration, and for sadness.
Celebration, because The X Factor is nearly over, and after 9.45 on Sunday, at least two of the remaining three will fade into eternal obscurity and we need never hear about purity rings or bedsits or cruise ships ever again.
Sadness, because The X Factor is like the dull, unhappy nurse keeping YappFactor on life support, and the end of one signals the end of the other.
But join us this weekend for a final, two-day last hurrah. On Saturday we'll bring you the usual luscious grab-bag of humour, improvisation and derision; and on Sunday, when it all comes to an end, we'll bring you... well, we haven't decided yet.
But it's going to be epic. Don't miss out. You'll regret it, like Nicole regrets ever having gotten involved.

It'd be nice to have a judge who didn't do exactly what the producers told him to do, wouldn't it?

So apparently James Arthur has been doing his part for self-conscious musicians everywhere, and using his new fame for new fondles at night... You might be jealous, but since you're not famous, we're kindly supplying you with something to spend YOUR Saturday night doing...
BINGO!
Your new card is ready to go for Saturday night - simply print it from here, get yourself a Sharpie and sharpen your eyes for some X Factor cliches.
As usual, we've got some excellent prizes up for grabs - your choice of a signed JLS or a signed Jedward photo. Try and contain yourself, ladies.
You're welcome.

This Saturday we have the pleasure, nay, the delight, of welcoming Rich Fulcher of The Mighty Boosh fame on to the penultimate episode of Yapp Factor, upping the entertainment level to at least an Amstell. (1 Amstell = 100 Dermots. 1 Dermot = 10 Brucies.)
But what is Yapp Factor? We’d describe it (we’re not biased) as a trailblazing companion show for the X Factor, broadcast LIVE here in zeebox and hosted by Jake Yapp, who lampoons Cowells moneymaking behemoth with caustic, finely-honed wit. Well, he blends barbie dolls and talks to a psychic chicken hand puppet. It’s anarchic, edge-of-the-zeitgeist comedy disguised as a man in costume shouting at a webcam. See the video above.
Don’t worry, X Factor fans; sound is only on during the ad breaks, so all you Maloney followers may still bask in his dulcet vibrato. (Incidentally, who are you people?)
For those not in the know, zeebox is your new couch potato friend, tasked with making your TV shows shareable, fun and informative. Find out more here and download it here.
So, join us this weekend for a slice of chaotically sexy comedy. We make the X Factor better. Like wheels on a car.

Yappfactor makes X Factor fun. Remember Mary Poppins and her spoonful of sugar? We're the sugar and the spoon and that fine figure of a fellow in the video above is our Mary Poppins. She's aged weirdly.
We broadcast here on zeebox on Saturday nights.
What is zeebox? Only your TV's best friend, an app which helps you share, discover and enjoy your Saturday night at home on the couch. Lucky you. You can download it, or find it online.
With zeebox, you can watch Yappfactor on iPhone, iPad, your computer, or through your neighbour's window, if you neighbour is watching us on iPhone, iPad or their computer.
We only make noise in the advertisements, so there's nothing to impede your experience of Christopher Maloney's performances. Sorry.
We have chickens. Blenders. Competitions. Costumes. Predictions. The occasional celebrity. A live audience and a whiteboard. Things break and things catch on fire. And it's all live and unscripted.
It's xtra interesting, xtra sarcastic and xtra sexy.
Join us.
