Custom Elephant crochet hook?! Yes please!! . A few months ago I came across interchangeable crochet hooks and immediately loved the idea. Then I bought two beautiful handles with real roses in the end from @princess_ina_pouch. Local Yarn Store Day is a good reason for picking up a new hobby right… 🤪 . Today is the release of @bohochicfiberco’s Happy Dance Shawl! . I loved this quick easy knit. It was perfect when I had a bunch of other bigger complex project and stressful days. It also has the perfect texture which leads to perfect crush. With @trendsetteryarns’ Wish yarn it’s the perfect neutral but happy yarn (peek at the next pic to see the perfect rainbow dots). I wear this shawl multiple times a week and definitely will continue to do so!! . I finished my Christmas cast on socks last night! . Finished a pair of socks in a week and love them!! It was the perfect project as down time as I prepared for the new year and thought about future projects or things to finish. I have decided that January I will not be casting on any new projects (though there are many I want to start) and I will try and create a clean slate by finishing up as many projects that I can that are started or suppose to be started. . Today I am hanging out in the sunshine knitting during a spa day… 😍 . Travelled to AZ to hang out with family and be in the valley of the sun which I desperately needed. When you really are just obsessed with all things fiber art… Picking up a new skill of weaving. . A few month ago I was gifted a 1950s ish Sabina floor loom. We have had quite the journey as I have worked to restore Inara (swipe to see a little of the work) but now I have a mostly functional 32 inch loom! I am just starting out so there are imperfections in my threading of the heddles and my weaving but I am enjoying it. And I have another way to work through my stash of yarns ☺️ . My Stria cardigan is slowly growing. I have had to frog a couple times due to the increases throwing me off but I finally got it! . At some point I realized that I was reading my graphs upside down while knitting my Autumn Doodle Cowl… Oh well I will “just keep knitting” as my teal fish mug says. .
