Just doing a vacay check in to say that I’ve copped so many good records I’ve been searching for and I’m so deeply excited

so it wasn’t one of her usual duties, but erin was a good enough friend to know when she needed to step in help fix up oliver’s hair. she might not be much of a girlie-girl (especially on duty) but she’d have wanted someone else to do the same for her. “oh as if they care that much about your hair.” she chuckled, fingers trying to move gently through the hair. “stop flinching, it doesn’t help!” she took a step back to admire her handy work, pleased with what she’d managed to achieve. “okay, you’re good to go. you’re just lucky that i was here to save you.”

“       my hero !       ”   is follow by a beaming smile of genuine gratitude. oliver runs her fingers over her hair, feeling if they’re even.   they are,   by the way. there’s not even an inkling that erin would leave oliver in worse shape than before, but god the feeling of not being a little lopsided ? amazing.   “       man.   i’ve been wondering why i’ve been walking in circles all day. i guess my problem is solved now.       ”   and there’s a split second of silence as oliver continues to gentle pet her own hair.   “       get it ? because it was uneven ?       ”
