Bottle of the day. Delaware Nigori.

This wine is from the Japanese winery Maruki Winery.

Sweet and sour, with a concentrated fruit flavour.

It is made from the Delaware grape, which is commonly eaten in Japan.

⁡Why did you choose that place?

I painted a cicada shell.

For some reason, only a part of the tree has died, and he seems to have chosen it.

In Japanese, the cicada shell is also called "Utsusemi", 空蝉.

Another meaning of Utsusemi is 'who lives in this world'.

I painted a bottle of sake SETSU-GETSU-FU-KA, 雪月風花.

SETSU-GETSU-FU-KA is the Japanese word for the beautiful natural scenery of the four seasons.

Each of Kanji means water snow, autumn moon, summer storm and spring flower.

I painted this picture because I thought the logo on the label looked like the moon, but it also looks like the wind.

I painted a picture of Mt. Iwaki. It is a beautiful mountain in Aomori prefecture.

I used a picture I got from a friend as a reference.

I haven't actually seen this mountain yet, but I would love to visit it someday.
