AAA Week- Fic Recs

Well, I don't typically do this, but I wanted to highlight a few fics written for @agathaallalongweek from this very creative and talented fandom that aren't just, as an esteemed oomf said "the same fic 200 times in different fonts".

Thank you for writing these works- I found them refreshing, original, and in character.

it takes a coven by sweetreverie, 17k, rated G-T every entry to this is a nuanced, and in character take on what the coven dynamics would be like as a fucked up family; and I enjoyed and looked forward to reading it every day. special shout out to the tommy story- i thought it was really sweet.

coffee shops in color by @birdiescorner, 2k, G the todd and sharon fic you didn't know you needed- i love the westview citizen pov, and this one nails it right on the head. full disclosure: i did cry a lil at the end.

fake marriage, real hands by @florencebirdsong, 1.6k, E ms birdsong does it again, with a fascinating and kinky little tale about the Hex and it's side effects. agatha/reader/wanda, very spicy indeed.

aaa week 25 by non-xreader, 6k, G-T the dialogue is snappy as hell, and the takes on the prompts are fresh and interesting. enjoyable and thoughtful.

i love the way it hurts, by quinnking, 1.9k, E huge fan of a good, toxic jen/agatha situation, and this one is just golden. they're so mean and addicted to each other: delicious.

'Til Death Do Us Part- by @ennn, 3.7k, T Much like Rio in this one, Ennn never misses; this fic made me laugh, gasp, and hanging on for the next installment. Action, comedy, drama- all in a neat 3.7k.

Unfinished Business, by thetbone, 3.7k, T Rio centric character study, but through the lens of the Black Widow side of the marvel!verse. Fascinating look at what her job entails and how it wears on her.

Unfinished Business

Summary: Every time Death encounters Natasha Romanoff, she’s somehow reminded of Agatha. Unfortunately, she seems to cross paths with Natasha a lot. (Or: five times Rio almost meets Natasha, and one time she finally does.)

My contribution to Agatha All Along week is none other than some niche little ficlets about Rio encountering Natasha throughout the course of her life. (And then inevitably getting sad about Agatha and Nicky.) If there's one thing I'm gonna do, it's push the Black Widow agenda to my AAA readers and vice versa. 🫡

i just started reading i am not a monster (i know, im super late IM SORRY) and i love it! i was wondering - how did you decide that agatha retained some of her powers? i really like that you've given her a bit of a leg to stand on here, bc then wanda would still have this crazy power over her. im only a couple chapters in so my apologies if this is explained later askjdhs love your work and hope you've been doing alright!

Ahh, don't apologize — I'm just so happy you found it and are enjoying it! 🥲 (And are curious enough to send an ask about it! I'm a nerd who loves answering questions about my fics. 🤓)

And this is a great one! Truthfully, since we started writing this way back in 2022 right after Multiverse of Madness came out and before Agatha All Along had presumably even been written, we had to make some stuff up! The logic we were operating under was that her magic was merely bound/"turned off" in a way when she was trapped as Agnes, and when Wanda removed the spell, her powers were restored along with her personality.

Well, maybe we’ll call them the baby’s great-uncles since they have older-person vibes.”  Yelena snorts. “Something tells me Strange will not love being called ‘great’ anything unless word is describing how awesome he is.”  “I know.” America smirks. “Which is exactly why I’m gonna do it.”

I Am Not a Monster, Chapter 86

Agatha runs said talented fingers through Rio’s hair again. “Dry,” she notes. She moves it down to her inner thigh — close to her center. “Unlike this,” she teases. Rio halfheartedly whines at the touch. “Don’t tease me like that when you know I can’t stay for another round.” Agatha inches the smallest bit closer. “Don’t pretend like you don’t love it.” “I do,” Rio admits. “It’s very nice. Though, I just enjoy being around you point blank.” Agatha can count the number of times she’s heard that on one…finger. “Well.” She clears her throat. “I’ve had worse company than you, too.”

High Infidelity, Chapter 12

Agatha is decidedly not human either anymore. And while Death positively hates that, Rio loves it. Just as she loves this feeling of Agatha touching every inch of her. Of examining her with new eyes. Of being inspected under her microscope.  Rio manages to collect herself enough to lower her chin a bit, leaning in close. “Use me,” she whispers in her ear. “Experiment with your new magic on me. Let me be your test subject.” A test subject to the test subject. The mere thought was enough to make her even wetter.

Hello I was wondering sense Agatha has Senior Scratchy as a familiar what would Wanda's be and why. I haven't seen any fics about Wanda getting a familiar and I personally believe she should have one. She needs an emotional support familiar.
