Honestly, it would be very hard to make her hates the player due to her neutral alignment. The only big thing that would make her despise the player is when they gave up / betrayed the other companion and if it would be done repeatedly. This will proof to her that the player is not a trust worthy leader that would gave up their party member just for their own good and safety.

For Zhevani, the first actress that came to my mind is Eva Green. She fit her vibes very well. Kristen Stewart would be a great casting too

For the face resemblance i found that Sofia Steinberg look extremely similiar to her and that actually scared me a bit😭

For her voice, i hc that Zhevani have a raspy deep voice, so Ella Purnell if she does a more deeper voice or Michelle Rodriguez.

⚠️Warning⚠️ This post will contain the dark urge's story, so beware this is a spoiler post!

I will try my best to not spoil her future story, and just talking about her background that contain dark urge's original past. I suggest you to read the comics first before reading this. Some of the lore here and the rest will appear in the future chapters. Okay, let's begin^^

As i said about her ability to regenerate in this post, the idea of the story in comic is that everytime she rest or get healed, she will gain a new memory of her past in the process of her brain healing from the damage Orin caused. So her backstory will be revealed more and more as the story goes on.

Age 1-9 years old

The story in comic: chapter 1, chapter 3

From the day she was created to atleast 5 years old, she did not have a place to live and just wandering around the city of Menzoberranzan and try to survive by stealing food, until she met Kethan, a drow boy who's about to get assassinated by his relatives. She decided to help him escape, and brought him back to his mother who ended up hiring her as his bodyguard.

She became his bodyguard from the age of 5 to 9 years old, till his mother got assassinated and they have to flee by their own. In the end, Zhevani failed to protect Kethan, and got teleported by her own to the surface near baldur's gate by her father's help.

Age 9-11 years old

The story in comic: chapter 2, chapter 4

At the age of 9 she got adopted by the Varzana family, a family of tieflings that lives near the lower city. She stays with them, till the age of 11 where her urge to kill cannot beheld back any longer which led to the massacre of her adoptive family. The moment when she realized what she had done, she decided to go back to the underdark and never go back to the surface.

⚠️this is not really a spoiler to me, but if you don't want to know about stuff that i haven't made in the comic yet, feel free to skip

Age 11-98 years old

The story in comic: ongoing

After that traumatic event that happened in the surface, she decided to take the job as an assassin in the underdark, mostly to satisfy her uncontrollable desire to kill. Being an assassin is no easy job, especially in the underdark where most of the people is trained to avoid an assassination attempts.

Age 98-120 years old

The story in comic: ongoing

At the age of 98 she finally have a place to stay permanently. The clerics of bhaal that assist her build an underground temple where there will be rooms mostly for Zhevani's "bussiness".

The place is design like a maze, so that intruders would be confused to where Zhevani's room is and where her "UMM??" room is lol. Jk, that's an interrogation room where she kept her client's victim and do "sum" stuff to make them talk. The entrance to her room is only accessible through the interrogation room, and she only enters the temple through the hidden entryway.

The red signs is where the clerics guard the place. Alora guard the main entrance, Evander guard the main entryway near the restroom, and Osian guard the hidden entryway and the entrance to the interrogation room and Zhevani's room. She lives as an assassin in that place till the age of 120 and only go to the surface if she had a matter with the other death three's chosen.

Age 120-132 years old

The story in comic: ongoing

Can't tell you anything about this part of her life cause it's a huge spoiler, sorry :"

Age 132-134 years old

The story on comic: chapter 6, chapter 7, ongoing

At the age of 132, she was captured by Orin and became her test dummy for two years, she suffers brain injury from it and became an amnesiac. At the age of 134, she woke up in the nautiloid with nothing but a white dirty dress, and a strangely familiar armour neatly tucked inside a chest near her pod.

At her job as an assassin, she often cast disguise self in order to get closer to her client's victims without any suspicion. She will only use a very normal outfits to blend with the crowd better. She did not wear any armour during the job, except maybe an arm protector.

The armour and the cape that she wore during the game is a gift from Alora, one of the cleric that lives with her in the temple. That's the reason why she is struggling to do some moves in chapter 8, due to the armour restriction and slipping from her own cape.

🖤Fun facts

Her right jaw scar is align with the mark on her mask. She got struck from below, and her mask stop the damage to go further, and only injured her jaw. The crack mark then will make the mask split in half when it dropped from the nautiloid (here).

When she have to be stealthy during her job, she will use a blindfold with leather material or just straight up close her eyes. The reason is because her eyes glows so bright, she is basically a walking flashlight without the blindfold. Due to this reasoning, she ended up gaining an ability where she can do anything with her eyes closed, and only rely on her hearing and senses.

Most of her design is inspired by barn owl (my favorite animal)! You can see it through her ability and mask design.
