Following from my previous (non serious) ask you’ve generally opened my eyes to the kronides and their myths and I have a newfound fascination for them and their stories and djkdkdks did not expect to have a new fixation bloom when scrolling on tumblr but here we go

The Titanomachy in pjo* was 11 years. We know they won the war and then celebrated, drew lots and split up— Not entirely of course, they still cant fathom being entirely cut off from each other so they arrange meetings every year. No healing. They start to despise each other and they fight.

Things change, Zeus becomes corrupted by his paranoia (which he got from Kronos), Hades becomes outcasted, Hera becomes bitter and Hestia sits by her fire and watches it all come apart.

And the tragic and even more interesting part about them is the fact there is no way to heal for them except with each other because they cant exactly have a third party that they could be truthful with (rules out mortals) or would be unbiased (rules out all gods, demigods and nature spirits).

But we know they don't trust each other enough to be open without being afraid of it being used against them (because it would be, they operate on a 'strike first' mentality)

it truly takes all of apollo's learned social graces to not openly publish a god-human psychology and culture dictionary after toa when he realizes Just How Much gets misunderstood and lost in translation
