jisung cursed under his breath that you decided to move into a building with no elevator. the walk to the 5th floor was usually never a struggle for the fit idol. it only became one when he had his drunk girlfriend on his back, both arms hooked under your knees as your heels hung off the tips of his fingers. your head was buried in his crook of his neck with your eyes closed. he knew u werent asleep by the soft incoherent words you would mumble out from time to time.

before the two of you went out jisung assured you to have as much fun as you wanted to for the both of you since he had a schedule the next morning and couldn't drink. he watched as you downed shot after shot. as you stumbled around, jisung decided it was time to call an uber and head back to your apartment. he finally made it to your door and tried to fish in his back pocket for the key to your apartment you had given him years prior. he lifted you a little higher on his back as he slid the hand with the keys out from under your thighs. he felt you slip down right away and quickly fumbled with the keys, jiggling them inside the lock and turning it. once he heard the click and it slid open, he pushed open the door and put his arm back under your knee.

he walked in, closing the door with his foot and flicking on the light switch with his elbow. he dropped your heels down and kicked his own off before venturing further into your apartment. he went into the bathroom and set you down on toilet bowl lid as he filled the bath up, keeping a hand in to feel the water temperature. he shut it off and turned to you, "ready baby?" you nodded and sat there as he carefully slid your mini skirt off and untied the ties of your top. he fully undressed you and helped you into the bathtub. you sat there with your knees to your chest as he ran the shampoo and conditioner through your hair and washed it out. once he was sure you were clean he helped you stand up, wrapping a towel around your body and leading you into your room by the hand that wasn't holding your towel closed.

you were always very quiet when you were drunk, a total opposite from your usual loud and cheerful persona. jisung loved taking care of you in this state. he thinks it's from years of being called the baby and being looked after but he couldn't be too sure. it could also be the fact he was still so deeply in love with you after almost 5 years of dating.

you sat on the edge of the bed as jisung collected your hairbrush and the blowdryer, settling behind you. he brushed out your hair, apologizing after every tug on a knot, and dried it just enough it wouldn't drip down your back and soak the pillows. he rummaged around your closet for a pair of your underwear and one of his oversized tshirts to put you in. he dressed you and left a kiss on the top of your head, "wait here my love." he exited the room and came back with makeup wipes in his hand.

"noo," you whined out as he sat on the bed again, laying your head into his lap. you didn't fight against him though, letting your eyes close as he rubbed the remaining makeup off. "you'll be mad in the morning if i don't baby. i'll be quick."

he sat you up with an 'all done'. jisung thought you were pretty all the time but as he stared at you right now he truly thought you were absolutely gorgeous. his t-shirt hung off your shoulder as your freshly bare face revealed the flush from the alcohol, along with freckles and beauty marks scattered across your skin. he put the wipes on your bedside table, making a mental note to put them away tomorrow morning.

he changed into his own pjs which were kept in one of your drawers for the late nights he spent at your place, which was quite often. he slid into his assigned side of the bed. you were already curled under a mountain of blankets but shifted into his arms when he was fully settled next to you. he made sure to hold you tight, running his long fingers through your hair.

"i love you ji," you mumbled, sleep dropping off your voice.

"i love you so much more baby."

thinking about...

how comforting jaehyun would be when you come home drunk from a night out with friends. 

he would be sleeping at first, not hearing you click open the door and stumble into the living room, throwing off your shoes. its only until you call out his name into the darkness of your room that he would stir in his sleep, whispering your name out to you. and when you would slide into bed and mumble drunken thoughts he would wake up, reaching a hand out to stroke your disheveled hair. 

“are you drunk?” he would ask even though he knew the answer, and you would try to deny it out of instinct, but he’s able to see right through you. he nods, caressing your alcohol flushed cheeks. and he would make himself get up, even in the midst of the deepest sleeps he’s had just to take care of you. 

to get you some water from the kitchen, sleepily pouring it out the jug with weak hands; making sure you drink it all, holding the glass up to you and swiping a finger over your mouth to dry you of the left over droplets. 

you would sprawl yourself out on the bed, still dressed up in your clothes and claim that you were “too tired” to change, but when jaehyun would walk towards your closet to grab a t-shirt for you to sleep in suddenly he would find you right next to him again, wrapping your arms around him and leaning your head against his bicep. he would pat the top of your head to savour the moment, knowing how embarrassed you’ll get the morning after for no reason. and when your arms would become too heavy to change yourself he would take his hand and wrap it around your wrists, lifting them up for you and removing your clothes. then guiding them through the arm holes of your t-shirt. 

you would still be attached to him when he takes you into the bathroom, helping you sit on the toilet lid while he turns around to grab some makeup wipes from the cabinet, so he can stroke the makeup off your face with a cold touch, moving so gently that you wouldn’t have been able to notice he was doing so if you hadn’t opened your drunken eyes and see his sleepy, focused face. whether there was or wasn’t alcohol running through your bloodstream, you still wouldn’t be able to resist leaning forward with pouted lips and smooch him on what you think are his lips, but in actuality is the side of his face. 

after all that, he would tuck you into your bed and watch you fall asleep in an instant, as if you were the one dragging around a grown adult the whole time. but when he lies on his side of the bed and sees your content face he would pepper kisses all over it, even if you couldn’t feel them, and whisper a small goodnight.

the type to send you money to buy food or instead have food delivered to wherever you are when you send him a message saying you’re craving for a certain meal or is really just plain hungry. i think we’re all pretty much aware that seungcheol is 100% sugar daddy material lmao, so i feel like he’s totally not one to be greedy in making sure that you get what you want at times you need it (though this mostly applies to just food and practical things as he isn’t going to let you be too spoiled either). i see him always doing this as a surprise too, like in moments when you least expect it or sometimes when you don’t even ask for it at all.

✩ JEONGHAN.

the type to call you frequently. i don’t mean this in a clingy way though, but it’s more like he prefers calling you than texting you whenever the both of you aren’t together and are at your own businesses for the time being. i see him being the kind to do this at random hours of the week too, sometimes when you’re not counting on it to happen, or he’ll send you a quick text as a warning if he knows you’re busy, and as you answer your phone, you’ll always be greeted with his loving tone, asking how you are and if you could meet up soon because he misses you.

the type to do things for you without being asked to. i see him as a domestic man, and i also see him just quietly helping you with your chores whenever he’s visiting your apartment—cleaning the dishes when he sees that you were too busy to do them yourself, fold your laundry, fix the bed, change the light bulb, assemble that table you’ve been postponing to do—and to even more intimate and domestic things like combing your hair, slicing food and putting it on your plate, readjusting your clothes when it gets disheveled outdoors, and giving you his jacket without hesitation when he sees you’re cold. all of that with a soft smile on his face while he’s doing so.

the type to ask you out for impromptu dates. when a schedule gets canceled or he finds out he’s apparently free for the day, his first thought will be hitting you up and asking if you wanted to go out on a date with him. if you say yes, he’ll be thrilled and will be quick in sending you the details, like what time he will be picking you up and where the both of you will be joining together for the date, making it obvious that he put some thought on this before actually asking you. sometimes, he might not even ask you, he’ll just surprise you by picking you up from where you are and declaring that he’s planning to take you out for a date right there.

the type to always know what you want or need to hear at the right time. i always sense a calming and wisdom-filled vibe from him, so i feel like he’d be that kind of guy who’s really good at making you feel better, motivated, or just validated with his words. i see him being very gentle and thoughtful when it comes to speaking his mind as well—and the type to send you quotes from the books he once read that he knows might help you with your current situation. i think he’s someone who also sends long messages whenever you’re venting through chat. basically, the personification of comfort and a warm hug i think.

the type to be your human alarm clock or just someone who likes to remind you of things. i imagine him calling you in the morning after texting a message that you haven’t replied as fast as you usually would, or would call in the evening as he’s eating his dinner just to ask if you’ve eaten yourself. oftentimes, he might leave homemade food or side dishes in your apartment and would put sticky notes on them, reminding you when they are best eaten and what they are best partnered with. his caring nature too would give you vitamins and have your phone’s clock set to when you should take them since he knows how forgetful you can be, wanting you to take care of your health just as he’s trying to take care of you.

the type to randomly send you music just because it reminded him of you. this is pretty predictable and kind of cliche but doesn’t he really give off that kind of energy? like making a playlist of songs that reminds him of you or your relationship, or recommending tracks that he knows you’ll like. he might even buy concert tickets one day for an artist that the two of you like, but i have a feeling that once there, the both of you wouldn’t be able to fully concentrate on the artist, but perhaps on the songs and just each other instead (bonus: i see him doing that thing wherein he hugs you from behind during a ballad and sings the lyrics to your ear).

the type to share a lot of inside jokes with you. it’s no question how he’s a funny guy, so i think he’d be someone you’d be sharing a lot of inside jokes with as he makes every other situation out there funny whenever appropriate enough. furthermore, he’s just someone who knows how to make you laugh the hardest, gives you the reactions you want when you’re delivering your own joke, and someone who knows how to play along to your dumb and funny tactics too just to please you. he always has a way with his lines and actions that guarantees a smile on your face every single time.
