Ok so I’ve watched the last episode today now, and here’s my thoughts on the show overall in a nutshell :

It’s still very shite, but there are admittedly some good bits in this clump of (mostly) unfunny shite.

It’s a *bit* transphobic 😬😬 (I mean it was made in the 2000s so what can you expect?), but thankfully the transphobic jokes are few and far between, but still not by a huge margin, ya’know what I mean?

I like the Nick Clegg sketches too! (Plus he’s voiced by Ben Willbond, who does a good job imo :))👍, although tbh any character in the show that is voiced by Ben is pretty enjoyable frfr :))❤️)

My fave other sketches are the same as I mentioned before (I’m thinking of doing a compilation video of the Tory Trio sketches cuz they are my faves tbh ngl)

Overall I personally give the show a 3/10.

(I’m thinking of doing a more detailed post about my thoughts on the show later, but for now here’s the Cliffnotes version in reblog form lol)

Currently watching “Headcases” (2008) (aka the 2000s CGI version of “Spitting Image”) on my personal quest to watch all the Spitting Image-esque Non Live Action British Political Satire Sketch Comedy shows when SI was off the air at the time the shows were made.

I’m starting with “Headcases” first cuz it’s the shortest of the lot in terms of having only 1 season of 8 episodes (thankfully) and cuz it’s on YouTube

So far the show is…..ehh….not good but I’m on Episode 2

Thought about giving up after Episode 1 BUT when the credits rolled and the voice actors credits came up, apparently such famous names such as RORY BREMNER, BEN WILLBOND, KATY WIX (among others famous names you might recognise) ARE IN THIS SHOW??!?!? AYO WHAAAAAATTTT???!!?!?

Honestly the fact they’re this honestly kinda crap show surprises me frfr, honestly ngl them being in this show keeping me going frfr

My fave skits so far are the sketches of Gordon Brown dressed as a Charles Dickens character & the rest of his Cabinet, the “Crikey! It’s the Tories!!” sketches with Eton-educated Aristocratic Bully Boy David Cameron, Ickle School Boy and (quite literally) Boot-licking Servant George Osborne, and Ranting-&-Raving Drunk Yorkshireman William “Billy” Hague, and the skits where Piers Morgan gets smth (deservedly) dropped on him, like they’re probs the only funny skits imo frfr

Cool! Hopefully the show gets better over time lol
