"Boxing Girls of Kabul" won Best Short Documentary at the Canadian Screen Awards. 

CONGRATULATIONS to a film that casts a light on the resilience, positivity, and athleticism of Afghani women and girls.

Incredible piece by Afghan-Canadian Ariel Nasr (also director of Oscar nominated “Buzkashi Boys”) that chronicles the lives of several young women. They have facilities that are not well equipped, face challenges yet continue to work hard as they train for the 2012 London Olympics.

May there be many more successes for these women in their journeys and support for their endeavours.
