El poder de las palabras
(King/Rey Desha x Fem!Reader/lector)
~Spanish/Español~
Parte 5. ¡Sorpresa, sorpresa!
— ¿Has conocido algún demonio alguna vez?
— ¿Eh? — la pregunta te pillo desprevenida. — N-No…Que yo sepa…
— Mírame a mí y a mis hermanos.
“¿Dioses y demonios?”
Otra vez aquel sentimiento.
Otra vez aquel nudo en la garganta.
“No.“
“No te derrumbes.”
Volviste a tumbarte.
— Me alegro.
— No pasó nada.
Pensaste.
Finalmente el príncipe resopló y se levantó.
— Me voy a dormir.

Welcome - Part XVI (last part)
King Desha x Fem!Reader
First part - Previous Part - Table of contents
Hello ! Today this story ends... It's a short part, but I'll say you more at the end !
Warning : NSFW (I could not resist, but I’m not sorry)
The first thing you both did when you came back to the Castle was to take a day off. Ok, half a day off for Desha for whom it was just impossible to stop being the King for a full 24 hours. Still, you happily waited for him around noon, in the garden, to have finished his business before he could meet with you.
Since you were underground, the weather was always nice, even the temperature was even, and the light only changed from a bright yellow during the day to deep blue at night. The flowers were the kind that could only live like this and around here, and they were all beautiful. The place you had chosen was hidden by high rose bushes of various colours such as purple, pink or even grey. The last one put you in a daze, they really looked the same as Desha’s skin! You could not stop yourself and began to slowly and carefully caress the flower’s petal. It was soft under your fingers.
“Who would think a day would come where I would be jealous of a damn flower, eh”, Desha sneered.
“You’re still more handsome than the flower if it can reassure you”, you laughed.
It was good to see him back to his old self. But, you could not just accept it and move forward before making sure that everything was right between the two of you. Maybe it was silly of you to try and reopen healing wounds, but you knew too well that incorrectly closed, an old wound could only fester.
“Let’s eat !”
You showed the picnic you had gathered, hidden behind the vegetation. Not that many people would wander in the garden anyway.
“Before you ask”, you stopped him, “I cooked nothing. Anna and Lilith were more than happy to do it.”
“I should send my thanks to them then…”
He looked at all the meals, the two maids had really gone over their heads to please you or him, or both. It was as beautiful as it was tasteful. You both happily ate while small talking about daily life. It was so peaceful and pleasant that you forgot what you wanted to do in the first place.
A moment later, you were both laying on your back, on the ground; you had your head on Desha’s chest, while he had an arm around you. You were both staring at the ceiling, basking in the warmth of each other, just happy to be able to enjoy each other presence. Slowly, a lingering feeling grew into you, from your belly to your heart, until it came out of your mouth.
“I want a child, or even children maybe”, you admitted without moving.
You heard a sharp breath coming from over your head, but the hand on your belly did not move. You reached it with yours and tenderly pressed it.
“I had children once, adopted ones. I lost them, and for a long, long time I thought that I did not want to take the risk to suffer like this again.” You took a moment to gather your thoughts and let your emotions settle. “But when I thought I could be pregnant with you, there was no fear or pain in me, just hope and love.”
You remained silent for a while, and you were grateful for Desha for letting you the time to get everything out of your chest without trying to rush you.
“I said to you that it was okay not to have children because I really meant it at that time. I think I can still deal with it now, but my feelings about it have changed, and I wanted you to know it. Because it felt right to tell you.”
You heavily sighed, as if a huge weight had suddenly melted in your chest, making you breathe easier. You gently stroked Desha’s hand, waiting patiently for his answer.
“I was scared of cursing any children we could possibly have. I am already so thankful for my brothers to look nothing like me. But Ouken… What he had to live, what we had to do to make him human again… I could not bear the burden of jinxing my own unborn child with it.”
You stared at his hand, his greyish tone, his claws. You intertwined your fingers with his.
“I keep thinking about what Ouken said, that the second generation is human, free from any rotten god blood. However, I still can not accept the risks. ”
Desha hid his face with his free hand, feeling his past, his fears trying to overwhelm him, while your presence and warmth were all that helped him not to sink into a bottomless sadness in front of the injustice of his own birth. Because he had chosen to make you a part of it, he was also making you suffer from it. And it was still difficult for him to accept it.
“It’s okay. We have all the time in the world. And should you never want a child…” you turned to be able to look at him. You gently took away his other hand to free his face and smiled at him. “... We will just enjoy that life as we already are.”
You proceed in kissing him slowly until you felt your king melting under your touch. His mouth went hungry against yours, his teeth scratching your lips. His hand around you grabbed your hips, crushing you against him while his other hand get behind your head making it impossible to move out of his embrace (what you obviously did not want anyway). You succeeded in climbing on top of his large chest, your legs spread around his hips.
Desha’s tongue impatiently took possession of you, taking out lewd sounds from you. Without thinking you moved your hips, pressing your crotch against your king’s. The hands on your body clenched hard, making you whimper half in pain and half in pleasure.
“I won’t stop if you do not command me to”, you challenged him.
“I have no intention of stopping you, eh,” he smirked, his cheeks already red and his eyes sparkling with lust.
He even strongly grabbed your buttocks, to forcefully make you move harder on the already hardening bump between his legs. You gasped, the warmth spreading quickly in your whole body, making you moan desperately.
“Make you cum”, Desha ordered you.
His movements intensified, masturbating you on the right spot, and you rushed your hands to your belt. Desha was watching you with a satisfied smirk while you proceed in caressing yourself on your clit. You looked totally dishevelled, but you could not care less about your appearance. You simply let your body answer to Desha’s, making you move accordingly while basking in his handsomeness. Just by looking at him you could almost already cum. His serious and mocking eyes, his prideful and provocative smile, his beautiful mouth that could make you feel so good…
You squeezed your legs against Desha, your head tilt backwards while you surfed in your peak with a delightful sight.
A second later, you felt your king’s large and hot staff sliding into you. Your inner walls suddenly spread on its way while you were still tight from your previous peak. It was filling you to the tear. The sensation made you moan at the same time as Desha whose claws entered the soft and fat spot of your tights.
“My king, it’s so good”, you praised him with a warm voice.
“Keep talking like that and I will show you what I can do”, he dared you.
He suddenly moved up his hips, making his cock go all the way in you, you screamed of surprised and incredible pleasure.
“Oh yes ! Desha like this, it’s perfect !”
Your words, moans and screams were galvanizing him so much that he forgot where you were. He proceeded in fucking you hard, determined to hear more and make you praise him forever. The two only things mattering right now were the indecent sight of his dick going in and out of you and the incredible sounds you were making.
You could not tell where you were, you were no longer able to do much, your body totally and brutally fucked by your king. You kept praising him without even knowing what you were saying anymore. You praised everything you could just so he would not stop. You praised his look, his cock, the sensation in your body and the feeling of being reduced only to a ball of pleasure.
You did not know how long it lasted but when you felt him withdraw himself, you rushed to grab his wet, hot and sticky manhood, before masturbating it. At the same time, Desha half raised, pressing you against his chest with one arm while his other hand went for your sweet spot. You desperately grabbed his hip with your free hand, both busy helping each other. Your two breaths were loud and lewd, you took a quick glimpse at your king’s face and climaxed when seeing him so lost in pleasure. Quickly after you felt his cum all over your hand.
You both then stayed like this, simply enjoying the afterglow.
“I think I will need to look for more servants after that”, Desha said after realizing what and especially where they have done it.
“Don’t worry, I asked Yvan to not let anyone go to the garden this afternoon”, you informed him with a playful smile.
“You are becoming more sly each day, eh. Let’s enjoy this opportunity thoughtfully then…”
END ?
I felt like I could not keep going on that story longer because YN and Desha needed some time alone to sort things out, and be happy :3 So, to quench my thirst for Desha content, I have written a couple of bonus ! Two are already done, and I'm working on two others ! They will be readable as the continuation of this story, or just little short stories !
See you soon for more !

Welcome - Part II
King Desha x Fem!Reader
First part -
Hello ! So the adventure keeps going ! I know more or less where I want to go but not how long it will take x'D
This chapter had not been checked so I hope there's not too many mistakes !
Still no warning... For now ;)
Part II
Desha was listening to his brother. He was explaining his thoughts about the diplomatic relationship with Boji's kingdom. In fact, it was a great opportunity for them, more resources they could not find nor grow underworld ; more space too (they were restrained by the caves) ; a strong ally ; and that were just the main reasons that Despa had presented. However, making all this happen would require a lot of hard work, especially to ensure that it would be life-long.
But Desha’s mind was not entirely focusing on that important matter. He was looking at you. It had only been three days since you had arrived here, and he could still not understand you. He thought you were just taunting him, but after your ferocious claim, it would have been hard to keep doubting your sincerity. Even if, after decades spent in self-loathing, he could not that easily accept it. And he was still not trusting you. First he had to understand what you were.
Meanwhile you were, you, focusing on Despa’s speech. Usually you would only do the dirty job, but you were eager to show your worth. You could literally feel the King's glare on you, making you a bit uncomfortable. At least, he was handsome, which was making it totally bearable.
“First and foremost, we'll need to reopen a portal between our kingdom. Without it, the distance would be too great, making our mutual benefits a lot less interesting.”
“The last one had been destroyed,” you remembered. “But I can try asking Lady Miranjo if she can make another.”
“It would be necessary, yes.”
“I'll leave as soon as possible, then.”
You stood up, while Desha finally realised that the meeting had finished without him. He loathed himself for not being able to keep his mind from wandering. Despa looked at him with big eyes before pointing at your back.
“Wait, I'll come with you… to handle the specificity of your travel”, Desha called out to you after glaring aggressively to his brother.
He was not doing it because of him or you, he was doing it for his kingdom.
“I hope you're better at riding a horse than doing a bow”, he chuckled while leaving with you.
The slap from Despa facepalming could be heard from the outside of the castle.
“The horses don't like me much,” you seriously answered the king while following him, “so I only use Pegase, I trained it myself so he’s used to me.”
“Is it because of what you are ?” he asked glaring. “By the way, what are you exactly ?”
“Surely. I’m a hybrid I guess. Half animal half human.”
“I guess ? How can you not even be sure of what you are ?” He mocked.
“I have never seen another like me.”
“Then why did you try to pass off as a human ?”
You could see from his way to glare at you that he was extremely serious, even a bit aggressive. He was as if he was sure that you were playing some game, trying to obtain something else than what you had claimed coming to do. And his questions were a bit more than what you could answer, not because you did not want to, but because you had never really thought about it. It was surprising how just three days around here could have already shaken so much of your habits.
“I did not try to pass off as a human. It’s more like I’m used to living like that ? I haven’t partially transformed into my animal self since a long time. As I said yesterday, you made me lose my cool, it’s not something usual for me.” You finally explained while you reached the kitchen.
The king did not answer immediately, instead he gave orders to the servants to put provisions together for your journey. For a while nobody talked, you both just looked at the people rushing to execute their leader’s command. You observed them, they looked happy to oblige, but Desha looked as if it was no big deal, letting them work without pressure.
A couple of minutes later, you were both going to the stable, with a big provisions bag, full with enough food for at least one year.
“You said partially transformed”, Desha repeated with precision, “so you can also fully transform ?”
“Indeed. But it has been even longer.” You informed him. “I hope I have satisfied your curiosity, I shall now be on my way. I want to deal with this matter as soon as possible.”
“It will have to do for now.”
He seemed about to add something else, but changed his mind. Instead he just waved annoyingly at you, and you took your leave like that without a farewell.
*
Days slowly elapsed without news from you, and King Desha began to wonder if you had not decided to never come back. Not that it was a great loss, however he had begun to think about the potential of the alliance for his kingdom. That and maybe he could have gotten used to having his physics being praised daily. The thought made him both furious and flustered. Even if you did not know their late father, it was still hard to think that someone could find something likable about his face. That he could indulge himself in such daydream was unfit for a king. He had already sacrificed a great deal for his kingdom and made his peace with it. So there was really no reason for him to think about you. And about what could happen if he decided to trust you.
You came back to the Underworld one month later. To travel back and forth took you a long time but to discuss the matter of a portal between the two kingdoms had also taken a long time. But now that everything was ready on Boji's side, you were coming back to King Desha.
Like the last time, you stepped in the throne’s hall, where the guests were received. Strangely enough, you felt happy to be here again. The few days spent in your home had not been as comforting as you had thought, even quite the contrary.
“If it isn't you…” The king snorted jadedly when seeing you coming closer.
“Yes it is me. I bring good news.” You announced feeling a bit taken aback by his attitude.
“You better do, given that you took your sweet time to fulfill your mission.”
“I’m sorry but I don’t think I understand everything you are saying my king.”
Despa slightly reacted when hearing you calling “my king”, since you were from Boji it was quite unusual, however since you were not good with all the word rules, he thought that it was just a mistake from you. However his primary annoyance was partly lifted with amusement when seeing you at a loss in front of his own verbal mischief.
“Anyway, Miranjo has agreed to build another portal. However there is a magical construction to be done. I have the blueprint here, and the explanations too.”
“Bring it to me.”
You came forward, climbing the few stairs to the throne. Desha took the papers from your hands before going through it with a frown. For a while you were left there, standing without knowing what to do but stare at his face. Damn you had missed it ! Seeing him closer like this helped you realize how you appreciated his strong and manly features.
Meanwhile Desha had finished reading the papers for a couple of seconds but could not bring himself to say anything. At first he had slightly raised his eyes to find you staring at him as if he was the most attractive thing you had never seen. And the feeling was quite pleasant ! He was even hoping for a little compliment. When he realized what he was thinking he berated himself.
“Nice work”, he managed to say while looking in the opposite direction to try and ignore the heat in his ears. “I’ll let you know when I need you so now get out of my sight !”
You bowed your head before leaving without a word. You had done what you had to do, and you even had the chance to bask in Desha’s beauty so you could not ask more to be happy. You even succeeded in keeping your tongue in cheek, to not embarrass him with your words. So yeah, you were pretty proud of yourself. Without even fantasizing the thought that the king would have liked to hear you embarrass him.
*
The next day, you took the pass to the training ground. You remembered what had happened last time, however you needed to keep yourself in shape. You sincerely hoped that nobody would bother you with your hybrid’s nature.
When you reached your destination, most of the men were already training under their captain's guidance. You spotted an empty space and went for it to quietly do your own exercise. You could feel your body answering to every one of your commands. Still, you could not take off your mind what had happened against the king. Your human form had not been enough. Did you reach your limit ? It was hard to consider when you had spent more than a decade believing that you could achieve your purpose by being human.
“Good morning.”
You almost jumped out of surprise, before turning to see the captain looking at you. Behind him, his men were also looking toward you. A strong feeling of uneasiness began to grow in your belly. You clenched your fists, trying to not be overwhelmed by bad memories.
“I was thinking if you wanted to help us train.” The man asked you.
“You really mean it ?” You wondered, surprised. “You are not scared ?”
“I don’t know exactly what you mean, but there is worse around here than a strong woman with a tail and furry ears.”
He said it with so much indolence that you could not help but laugh. Really that place was full of surprises ! You quickly agreed and found yourself helping the guard. In fact, the captain wanted to work on your good instincts to try and develop it in his men. It was a bit strange and awkward at the beginning, but gradually it began to be even fun.
“It’s true that you could fight against our king ?” One of the recruits asked you with innocent eyes after the training.
“I could, even if the king was not serious.”
Despite your admission he and a couple of others still looked impressed, even praising you a bit. They asked you about details, and you were happy to oblige. You did not notice the big shadow behind you until the captain shouted for it.
“King Desha !”
The big man had already turned his back and was ready to leave. He had even thought about a good excuse to say to Despa when he would have met him without you, the emissary. Because seeing you smiling lightly among all those men and women had made him feel uneasy. He had seen himself as an intruder, and he did not want to draw the glare on him. But now, he had no other choice than looking at you. Obviously, he was their king so everybody had shut up, making it even worse.
“You look like shit.” He smirked.
Everybody froze. You looked at yourself, you were indeed covered with sweat, sand and dirt especially since you had so little clothes on you when training.
“I shall take a shower then.”
“Do it quick. Despa is here, to talk about the project.”
You promptly leave to shower yourself while the king stays there, his smirk still on his face while his mind was wavering between the desire of slapping himself or praising himself for keeping his cool. Still, the look on his men's face was pretty clear on their thought.
“Go back training you all !” He angrily shouted.
“Yes, sir !!”
*
“Did you learn anything about animal hybrids ?” Desha asked his brother.
The two were waiting for you in one of the official rooms. It was there that they had taken lunch together once or twice, and discussed the development of your mission. Despa did not like to spend too much time in the castle, the good memories had been tarnished long ago by the bad ones. So when he came, he wanted to enjoy it by eating at the expense of his king brother, after all his services were never free.
“Not much”, he had to admit. “It seems that their species has disappeared for a long time.”
“And their skills ?”
“Since there is as well as nothing about them, I had no luck. Still, I can try reading her.”
Desha nodded right when you entered the room. You had showered and put on better clothes. Your hair was wet, but you looked refreshed. You had only put on a light robe with a waistband. Your burn was more visible like this, going from your left cheek to your neck and disappearing into the fabric. There was also a bit on your left shoulder. The king glared at you, wondering how you could have ended with such serious injuries.
“Do I look clean enough for you, my king ?” You obligingly asked.
“It will have to suffice.” He coughed while Despa was looking at him with big eyes obviously meaning you did not ask the lady to go take a shower, did you not ??? He glared back at his brother, his face as easily to read with something like I had to improvise, ok ? You would have not done better ! The soundless discussion could have gone on for a long time but they had to stop since you were looking at them.
“Hem hem”, Despa rasped to compose himself. “I have chosen the location of the new portal given the indication from Lady Miranjo. Now we need to assure that it’s perfect. So I’ll need both of you to go there. ”
“Why both?” Desha inquired, plainly unhappy. “Do you think I have time to go around like that?”
“I know you are a busy king,” his brother answered, even if it looked like he did not think for one second what he had just said. “but I need someone to be my eyes in real time, and we both know that only you can do it.”
“Then go do it yourself !”
“I don’t think you have enough money to make me go on an adventure like that”, Despa countered before adding at your attention, “even in such a nice company.”
“No offense taken.” You said while Desha was choking on the selfishness of his brother.
“Do not worry Desha, I’ll make sure the kingdom does not burn in your absence.”
“Don’t go anywhere near the national treasure,” he threatened him.
“For whom do you take me ?!”
Like that, you already had to leave the castle. You were a bit dejected. You were beginning to really like around here, and had no desire to go anywhere else. Still, it was a journey with Desha, at least the view would be breathtaking.
“I hope you won’t be a hindrance, eh”, he said to you before leaving.
“I’ll do my best,” you promised looking really depressed.
“Are you really going to make me ask ?”
“What?”
“You looked like someone stole your candies…"
“Sorry. I was just happy to be back here, I don’t want to leave again.”
“We will be back sooner if you hurry up a bit !” He abruptly shooted after a moment of surprise.
You nodded with approval before quickly saddling Pegase. A moment later you were both letting the castle behind you.
Yeah a journey alone with Desha... What could happen ? 😈😈😈😈😈😈 Maybe what you are expecting, or not :'p

First part - Previous part
Part III
Warning : animal abuse
The first day was no fun. You both rode without rest since Desha did not have much time to spare for that quest, his duties were too important. And it was not really the moment for idylle chat so you both kept going in silence. Which unfortunately let you plenty of time to think about what you had felt when coming back to the Underworld. Initially, if you had been the only volunteer it had been out of curiosity for the Underworld and his king. But after coming back to your old friends, you had realized how suffocating it was to be among them. Domas was not leaving Boji’s and Hakuro’s side, Bebin was fully dedicating himself to Daida, Dorushi was even closer to Hilling, and even Apis had found in Miranjo a person to faithfully protect and follow. So you were the only one who had not moved on since King Bosse’s death.
However, being here was not totally great either. It was much better for sure, but you felt stuck between two moments of your life. The old one which was no longer what it was, and the new one which was really unclear. Despite that, you were still determined to try as hard as you could. Firstly, you knew that your main objective had not changed and it seems that you could reach it here.
Finally, you both reached an inn and decided to spend the night here. The people working and drinking here were all really different, some humans some clearly not and sometimes they were a bit of both at the same time. All that made you feel really comfortable. Furthermore, everybody recognized the king and was really happy to see him. There was not one person who did not come to respectfully greet him. Desha seemed to make sure to look indifferent or a bit smug while you just observed him around his folk. Even if he was behaving the same as usual, you thought that something was different. It took you the full evening and a bit of the night to understand.
The light of the cave was a little different during the night, even if thanks to your animal’s senses you were able to differentiate the moment of the day. You were looking for Desha, he had gone missing after the meal and was not in the rooms he had rented for them. Anyway, you had already memorized his scent so you were able to find him anywhere (yup, if you had known what it was you could have called yourself the ultimate stalker). And he was not that far, sitting on a trunk, on top of a little hill overlooking a big part of the Underworld. You silently came to sit beside him, and quickly looked at his face. At that instant you understood what was different. When the people had come earlier you had seen something in Desha’s eyes, something like pride or worth. But now his glare was dark and full of ghosts.
“I don’t understand”, you said.
“Because there’s something you can understand ?” He chuckled.
“Not a lot but a few, yes. Anyway. The other day, you said people who know Satun would not like your face, but earlier I saw nobody like that.”
“They are fools. Blinded by gratitude and my position, nothing more.” He snorted.
“But I’m not.”
“But you’re not.”
You looked at each other for a moment, both trying to understand the other a bit better, but there were two many unknown between you both.
“If nobody will look at the real you with delight, I guess I’ll just have to do it for everyone.” You finally decided while standing up.
Desha coughed up, almost choking on his spite out of surprise by your claim. Could you not be more imprevisible ? He had absolutely no idea of what to do and could not even find a bit of sarcasm in order to save face. His rationality was preventing him from just accepting what you were saying. So he finally just shrugged it off.
“Stop spouting nonsense and go to bed. We’re getting up early tomorrow.”
You tried to speak again but he just ignored you and went back to the inn. You were flustered, had you done a mess of words ? However, Desha was not going to answer you so you just went to bed as suggested.
*
The place for the new portal was not too far away from the castle and the main city. The objective was to make an easy and practical means to travel between the two kingdoms. So Despa had chosen a location a bit away from the habitations but not too much. It was a place with a high magical affinity and a lot of raw materials for the constructions. Once you both reached it, Desha began to communicate with his brother, while you were trying your best to help him look for what Despa was asking.
It took only a couple of hours, and when the blond man was finally satisfied with a more accurate position, Desha and you were exhausted from running around. Your horses were also tired and Desha decided to take a short break before returning to the castle.
Like this, you found yourself wandering around. The king wanted some privacy to talk with his brother, and you happily obliged. That place was pretty nice, looking really like a pasture with some rocks and little trees. The closest village was one hour away, so there was nobody around. At least, that's what you thought.
“Mumy ! Help me !”
The cry made you jump. Your heart was beating hard in your chest. Have you fallen asleep ? Were you dreaming ?
“Mummy ! I’m scared ! It hurts !”
That time you were sure that it was real. You felt your body shaking and your mind became blank, without any hesitation you just ran as fast as you could. Your throat was dried and you had a hard time breathing but you were desperate to not let any children be hurt. Not again.
“Mummy!”
The cry was becoming more and more desperate and distorted by the pain. You finally reached them to find a couple of people playing around. One was holding a kitten by the neck, while another was burning him with a torch. You froze, the cry hurting your head making a terrible echo with your nightmares.
“Let go !” You shouted, unable to talk properly because of your desperate state.
It was like you had forgotten everything, who you were, where you were, what you were capable of.
“Who’s that ?”
“What’s she talking about ?”
“Is she dumb ?”
“Mummy ! Mummy !”
The kitten was agonizing while the others were laughing without rest. You took your weapons out and pointed them in the direction of the torturers.
“Let… GO !”
You screamed like a demon wanting blood. The one holding the torch took a step back, scared by your ferociousness. But the other one was not that easily impressed.
“What are you gonna do ? Kill us to protect a kitten ? What a jock !” He snorted. “If you take a step closer, I’ll kill it.”
And to show how serious he was, he took a knife out of his pocket and began to drill it in the kitten’s belly. The poor animal’s cries multiplied making you unable to choose what to do. You were sourreded, but the only thing that mattered for you was to save the baby. You were so taken by what was happening that you began to feel smoke and your scars burn.
“Try it if you want !” They provoked you, having the blast of their life.
“Not do it… please…” You finally begged, letting your weapons down.
“I don’t know…” The man holding the kitten used his knife to cut one hear. “Beg harder, maybe we’ll think about it !”
“MOMMY!!!”
You planted your claws in the soil, screaming and begging while tears overflowing on your face. But things were getting only worse.
CRACK
Without warning, lightning fell from the sky and instantly killed the man holding the kitten. The others got afraid and ran before being killed. However, they did not go far since you suddenly jumped on their back. You were no longer human, nor animal. You were a beast. You ripped out their throat with your fangs, gorging yourself with their blood.
Once it was done, you slowly came back toward the burned corpse, walking on your hands and knees.
“I’m sorry, it’s dead.” Desha said gently, putting it in front of you.
A long, desperate cry tore you up. You could feel the light, lifeless body in your hands. You had failed. Again. The realization was too hard for you and you lost yourself.
You were back again, in front of that house. The fire was already devouring everything but you could hear the cry of your childs trapped inside. You tried to find them, but it was too hard, too hot. You kept going, looking everywhere while your body began to burn too. And you were going to look forever. Never able to find them. That was your hell. Your repentance for not being able to protect them.
Suddenly, a little meow took you back into reality. Desha was kneeling before you, another kitten in his huge hands.
“I found that one in a box. I guess it was next.” He hesitated before adding. “If you had not interfered I would have never come, you saved it.”
You raised your shaking hands to grab Desha’s one, no daring to touch the kitten.
“Thank you…”
Desha did not move while you were desperately crying. Seeing you like these awaken something in him, something he could not think he would feel. He had taken you for some kind of simple minded woman with nothing important in your life since how you easily changed your allegiance from Boji to him. Now he understood that he had not thought about it from the right angle. Your allegiance was not in kings, but in something far more greater. Something he had himself fought for, sacrificed for, loose for. That respect for life, that love for those who could not protect himself, all that he now found again in you, like a bent reflection.
It's a bit shorter than usual but I though it was dense enough. Tell me if you like it, or not ! :o
Please take care of your pets ❤️

Welcome - Part IV
Hello ! A part a lot less dark and with even a cute moment (kinda?) :p
First part - Previous part
You had as well as no memories from the journey back to the castle. You felt dead inside and nothing could drag you away from your sorrow and self-loathing. When you were finally able to think about something else, you were in your room, in the Underground’s castle. You were in the dark, which was obviously not bothering you thanks to your skills, but you suddenly realized what burden you had become for Desha. You tried hard to remember what had happened before your black-out, but drew a blank. You did not even know how many days have gone since you came back. You were a total wreck. But even thinking about that did not help you at all. You no longer had the strength nor the will to do anything. Again you had failed.
After a few hours you began to consider what to do next. You had miserably thought you could be of some support to Desha, but now it was obvious you were not up to the task. You felt so self-conscious that you could have died of shame right on the spot. You did not want to come back to Boji’s kingdom, you had no longer your place back there, and you could definitely not stay here and keep burdening everyone. The only solution you saw for you was to come back to what you were before trying to play being human. Stay true to your nature, and disappear from the human world. You had to live alone, forgotten by all since you could not protect anything.
In the shadow you turn back in your animal form, a dark and huge feline. You jumped through the window, landing in the castle’s garden. You had never gone there, but you were confident in finding an exit. Anyway, you did not want to be seen, your form was huge enough to scare or make people attack you as perceived danger. You did not look at the beautiful flowers, going straight to your objective. You jumped over the fence to be out. Now you just had to leave town and find a forest where to live what life you had left.
“Y/N stay right there !” A strong, unwavering voice ordered.
You froze, not sure that anybody could recognize you in that form. Could it be a coincidence ? Someone with the same name as you ? You dared a quick look back and spotted Desha glaring at you with a strange expression. Your body was begging you to keep going before it was too late, but your weak mind could not fight against that man and his beautiful face.
“Where are you going ?” He asked you, when finally reaching you.
You waved your tail, unable to talk human in that form. You saw him frown, obviously not happy with what was going on. Was he angry because you had not left soon enough ? Or maybe because you had been cared for freely ? No, it has to be about the mission. You were an idiot, leaving before doing the only job you had been given !
“If you can’t speak like this just change back immediately”, he commanded.
But you could not change back in the middle of the road ! Animals were, after all, naked so… But his glare was so intense ! You tried to explain but only a strange sound between the meow of a cat and the roar of a lion came out. Meanwhile, Desha was losing the little cool he had left. You decided to just obey and see what would happen.
You changed back, and the man's eyes widened but he quickly took a hold on himself, taking off his cloak to cover you while his ears were as red as apples.
“Now explain yourself ! Where were you going ?!”
“I’m removing myself…” You confessed looking straight to him. “I can’t protect anything, it’s better I leave before doing more damage to your or your kingdom.”
“What a load of nonsense !” He yelled.
Desha tried to get a hold off his emotion, he frowned, sighed then pinched the top of his nose to try and cool off. He did not want to scare you off, no matter how hard he wanted to yell to vent all he was feeling right now. Still, he understood a bit of what you might be feeling right now. But when he had felt like that, at the time he had his brothers to help him. You, however, just seemed terribly alone. For once, he could be the one reaching for somebody else. Because of what had happened, he was feeling a connection with you. Even if he would never admit it.
“Stop fooling around and come back to the castle before anyone sees you dress like this.”
“You still want me to stay ?” You said again, shocked.
“You still have a mission to complete,” he snorted before starting to walk back.
It was not unexpected, but you still feel a bit disappointed. You did not know when you had started to feel this way, but you had been hoping that Desha wanted you to stay for something other than your job. Obviously, he did not. At least, you knew what to do, and when your task was done you would just leave for good.
At that moment, you heard a little meow coming from Desha. The big man suddenly blushed but tried hard to ignore it. However, the meowing became even more intense, sounding something like let me out and I smell something nice ! You glared at him until he gave up. He opened up his jacket with a bothered look, letting a little black kitten head pop out.
“I’m here!”
You almost dropped your mouth to the floor, before beginning to laugh till you weep. Desha was flustered and hoped hard that nobody would notice the three of you, standing not far from the royal garden.
“He wouldn’t leave my side, I had no other choice,” he tried to justify himself while the kitten was meowing to his heart's content.
“You bet, he thinks you’re his dad now”, you translated for him.
Desha had a lot of trouble in choosing what was the most unsettling : the kitten or you who was smiling at him for the first time. Was it for the cat or for him, he thought his mind went blank for a second.
“I’m happy you saved him”, you explained, not bothered by his lack of words.
“I did not, you did”, he finally came back.
“I did nothing…” You corrected, feeling down again. “You’re nice to try smoothing the reality but I was useless. Like last time…”
“I don’t know what happened to you, but for that one you saved him. I can’t understand animal language, without you I would not have bothered to go see what was happening. And if you don’t trust my words, I’m certain this one has a lot to say to you.”
He looked jazzed while speaking but you were still really grateful for his efforts. So you tried to listen to the kitten, which indeed had a lot to say. It was not all exactly translatable in human speech but it went along those lines : I’m happy to be alive. Thank you for trying to save my brother. Thank you for helping us.
“What happened to the other one ?” You finally asked, holding back your tears.
“I buried him.” He had found a nice place, away from the place it had suffered, under a tree.
“Thank you…”
Your voice was so soft and warm, it was as if Desha could feel it upon his skin. He could tell that you were now looking at him differently, even if he could not exactly tell what had changed.
“Can we go back now ?” He rushed you looking bothered.
“Yes, my king.”
Desha smirked.
*
“She lives !!!”
“Captain, why is Yvan free ?”
“His collar snapped.”
“Don’t talk about me as if I am not there !”
You looked at the young guard with half of a smile, surprisingly happy to see that bunch of men and women totally overtrained and a bit too kind in their heart and mind. Desha had left you in front of your room, where you had found those guys.
“King Desha was so mean”, Lan whined, “he would not let us come in!”
“Maybe because you're louder than a brat”, their captain told them, annoyed. “She needed rest, he said ! Nobody can rest with you around.”
“But we were worried”, Lara insisted.
You were really surprised by their reaction, but their behavior was far more funny. They really looked like a bunch of kids, and without thinking about it you began to smile lightly, the pain in your heart easing a bit.
“Will you come to train with us ?” Yvan asked nervously.
“What did you not understand in rest”, shouted Captain infuriated.
“It’s okay”, you said, “I need something to do anyway.”
The guards cheered happily and you all took the direction of the training ground. You did not think about the incident for the rest of the day. The exercise made you sweat a lot, making you feel really good. It was astonishing to see how kind those people were, so different from what you could expect of the Underworld’s order. It was as if they had been chosen and created with a vision in mind. You were thinking about that while taking a break, sitting on the ground.
“You’re all so kind,” you said to Captain. “Thank you.”
“No need for that”, he answered. “Even if it’s not official for now, you’re already one of us.”
“I appreciate that. Still, it’s strange to see guards so sensitive. I have not that much experience but still.”
“It’s thanks to Prince Ouken.”
“Prince Ouken ?” Wondering if it was the king’s child.
“It’s the youngest brother of King Desha. He’s not here currently, but I don’t think it’s my place to talk to you about him. If you’re curious, you should ask the King.”
“I’ll do that then.”
After that, the training came to an end. You decide to take your meal in your room, feeling mentaly exhausted. You needed calm and rest. When you reached it, it was the two maids who welcomed you. If you remember well, the blond one was Anna, and the brunette Lilith.
“Glad to see you better”, Lilith said with a smile while Anna signed the same thing.
“Thank you”, you answered, still amazed to see how many people had been worried for you.
Anna kept signing.
“The King ?” You repeated before stopping, too shocked to keep saying it out loud.
Even Lilith began to blush a little. You learned that Desha had been coming every day to see you and making sure that the maid was giving you your meal. Apparently he even stayed on various occasions to try and make you feel better. You felt a warmth go through your body while hearing that. You wanted to see him so bad at that instant !
“King Desha”, Lilith exclaimed.
Anna jumped out and stopped their conversion to look at the floor with a strong blush.
“You can leave”, Desha ordered.
The two maids nodded and left, but not without curious stares in your direction. The king waited for them to be gone before freeing the kitten.
“Here, take good care of it”, he inquired while dropping it in your hands.
“You do not want to do it yourself ?”
“I have other things to do than taking care of a damn cat”, he scoffed. “Has it a name ?”
“He said he’s name is Kuro”, you answered after the kitten had said it.
Desha nodded before leaving without a word. You hesitated a second before calling for him.
“Do you want to eat with me ?”
The king took a moment to think about it. He wanted to say that he was busy, which was entirely true, however he also wanted to make sure you were alright. After everything that had happened, he was no fool and understood what you had tried to do before. And he had decided that your place was here, by his side. So sharing a meal was a good idea to be sure you were better.
“I’m starving, so gladly.”
The maids came back with the food and everything for eating. Even a bit of fish for Kuro. Desha quickly gulped half of the ale before feeling a lot better. And you did… The same. You had not drank for a while and it immediately made you feel lighter.
“I want to know something, what can you do exactly ?” Desha asked. “You have a human form, and an animal. But also hybrid ?”
“I don’t do the hybrid one much.”
“And why is that ?”
“I don’t really know… At first I lived as an animal, then King Bosse showed me how to live as a human. I always thought it was either one, not both. But I guess neither one is strong enough…”
“You should try the hybrid one. Why choose when you can do both, eh ?!” He smirked condescendingly.
“I… Yeah, that’s a good idea, thank you.” You smiled.
You would have never dared to be both, to show your animal form, but here near Desha, you felt the confidence to try. Meanwhile, Desha realized that he was beginning to like seeing you smile at him.
Maybe things are beginning to advance ? A bit ? x') Part V is already done, and there's even a guest !

The power of words (fan translation)
Hello I did the translation of an amazing spanish DeshaxFem!Reader fanfiction !
Let's conquer the world with Desha fanfiction !!
I'm neither Spanish nor English, so I did my best and I hope it will be fine to read !
Original work and original author , go give her a lot of love !! <3
Everything below is from her :3
Part I : The slave
I can’t believe I’m here and I’m daring to publish my first fanfiction… The story begins a few months before Saturn dethroning, then keeps going through the war and later through Ouken transformation. So be prepared for a lot of turns and drama (or at least it’s the idea !).
Warnings: Violence, dismemberment, mention of abuse, death, blood, slave
Don't be scared by the warnings! It's just a little scene that goes a bit wild.
A new city.
A new kingdom.
A new master.
“Move !” Ray roared, pulling hard on the rope attached to your collar. “We're going to be late because of you.”
Of course his "little" stop at the brothel had not slowed you down at all. At least you were thankful that this time he had not forced you to participate.
He once again pulled the rope and you quickened your pace a little more, despite the fact that the slope seemed to have no end.
You began to gasp for air because of the stone necklace wrapped around your neck which prevented you from breathing properly. But you tried to put up with it as long as you could to not trigger any retaliation from your master.
You had heard of the Underworld once, but you had always imagined it to be more…chaotic. Like hell. But reality was rather underwhelming and the most remarkable thing about the place was that practically everything was surrounded by rock and granite. You could not even see the sun from there. Despite that, the city was full of people... and beings. You could not identify half of all the kinds of races that roamed through that place. Although the vast majority of them looked quite decadent and dangerous. Yet in spite of that, many looked at you strangely or even scowled at you when they realized your presence. Ray didn't seem to mind all that.
You finally reached the castle’s gates and were surprised to see their height.
“Does a god live here?” you wondered, shuddering.
Two huge guards stopped you at the entrance, Ray quickly walked up to them to explain the situation. You were still gawking at the huge doors, completely ignoring them. You did not need to hear why you were there, you knew it all too well.
A few seconds later, you saw the doors beginning to open slowly. It seemed that the guards were used to handling their massive shapes since it was not a great effort for them. Another tug pulled at your neck, making you walk after Ray to finally enter the castle.
Some of the servants turned away their heads as you walked by, while some of the guards muttered under their breath. Slaves were definitely not well regarded in this place. You were not a slave though, you were a gift.
A guard escorted you to another huge door which opened as soon as you reached it. Upon entering you gasped at the sight of the huge throne room. It was not your first time in a palace, but you had never been in such a big one before. Everything was exaggeratedly gigantic, the walls almost disappeared to reach the far off ceiling and the windows were even larger than the doors of the castle. The throne could perfectly fit 5 strong men on it. But only one man sat there, a man who despite being larger than a normal human, seemed small compared to the great throne. The man in question had a grayish complexion with dark hair falling down his back. The most remarkable thing about him was his strange nose and mouth. Another thing you noticed about him was that, despite sitting on the throne, he was not wearing any crown. He was not the king of the place. “Perhaps a prince?”
Down the throne’s stairs, there was also a somewhat plump and blond man, wearing pompous clothes and being very groomed. Next to him was another rather handsome man dressed in golden armor and robes underneath, just like the guards you had seen so far but his were red instead of blue, and unlike the others, he was not wearing a helmet. The three seemed to be talking to each other about something funny given their expressions. But the smiles stopped when they saw you walk through the door.
The guard introduced you to the man on the throne.
“Raymund, of House Torf. Raymund, this is Prince Desha.”
The prince raised his head, watching them with a frown.
“The prince ? I wanted to speak to the king in person.”
"I'm afraid the king has been away for a few days. Prince Desha speaks on his behalf in the meantime”, the guard replied.
“Tsk”, Ray muttered with distaste.
King Desha raised an eyebrow at Ray's reaction.
“Is there a problem? Because if there is one, you can still go back the same way you came”, the prince finally spoke, his voice strangely high-pitched but deep at the same time.
"No…no, excuse me." He had come to deliver a gift to King Satun, he wanted to give it to him in person but… well. He turned to look at you and lowered his voice, so that only you could hear him “But I'm not going to pay another coin to feed you. Rat.”
“Well ?” The prince seemed quite annoyed with the conversation.
Ray approached the throne and gave a strong tug on the rope, causing you to lose your balance and fall on your knees directly in front of the prince. You sighed heavily through the gag and stood there, being humiliated in front of the entire room, luckily it was not something new in your life so you just stared at the little traces on the stone floor.
“What does this mean?” Prince Desha said in an annoyed tone.
As Ray answered him, you turned around hearing a metallic sound near you. The man in armor was helplessly watching you while holding his sword. The other man next to him had his hand on his chest, it seemed that he was trying to prevent him from getting close to Ray. The blond man shook his head at him, and he reluctantly sheathed his sword while still looking at you in frustration. The chubby man whispered something to him and the other nodded, returning to his position.
You came back to the conversation when you heard your name.
“She has incredible power”, Ray was grinning from ear to ear. “You won't regret it, I promise.”
You looked up at the prince and he stared back at you for a few long seconds.
“You lie. She has nothing. Don't try to sell me smoke, boy. Or you'll walk out of here headless.”
“No ! I'm serious ! You will see”, Ray forcely kept you up by the rope and quickly removed the gag from your mouth. "Do it!"
With tired eyes you looked at Ray and shook your head. He pulled again to bring your face closer to his.
“Do it, I told you”, he growled, leaning closer to you to whisper in your ear. He smelled of alcohol, as usual. “Do it. Or I'll cut your throat right here.”
You bowed your head in exhaustion, refusing again.
"I TOLD YOU TO DO IT!"
You closed your eyes waiting for a blow but the seconds passed and it never came.
Slowly you dared to open your eyes and were surprised to see Ray's fist close to your face. But he was unable to move one more millimeter, since the prince was holding him by the arm, preventing him from moving. Desha spoke from behind him.
“It's enough”, he growled loudly, still squeezing his arm.
Neither you nor Ray understood how a man his size could have moved so fast, but there he was, behind Ray with one arm grabbing him and the other lifting a huge gigantic club twice your height. Ray let go of your rope out of sheer terror at the sight of the weapon.
Desha sighed and let Ray go, realizing that he was no longer going to raise his hand to you. With his free hand he reached into one of his pants pockets and pulled out a small bag where some coins tinkled.
“Here is your thanks for your gift”, Desha said, throwing the bag at Ray's chest, trying to keep in check his fury with all his might. “Now out of my castle.”
Ray steadied himself as he held the bag and thanked the prince with a wide grin. Your knees were beginning to hurt so you decided to change position and sit on the floor, straightening up to watch Ray's back walk away so calmly. As if he had just made a good deal for a simple apple in a market. But you were used to it, those things had ceased to matter to you a long time ago.
Desha turned to you and watched you tiredly.
"And what do I do with you now?" He said scratching the back of his neck with his club. Then he lowered his free hand to you, waiting for you to use his help to get up.
You hesitated a bit but finally gave him your hand and he picked you up more gently than you had expected. You stayed next to him, quite close to him, not really knowing what to do, so you just took a closer look at him. He was a really huge man. He was two or three heads taller than you. But now he did not seem as intimidating to you as before. He looked really tired.
“First. This is out”, he grabbed the stone necklace around your neck and with an electrical blast the necklace simply exploded.
You took a step back from the shock, but when stroking your neck you only noticed relief. The necklace just fell to the ground, breaking completely.
“Better?”
It took you a few seconds to realize that he was talking to you. You just nodded, starting to breathe easier. Desha nodded back and stared at your neck for a few seconds. The collar was quite tight, so you deduced that it had left a good mark on you. You put a hand to your neck to try to cover it but Desha was already turning his gaze to Ray, who was still walking towards the exit.
"And now what do I do with this...?" He took two hesitant steps toward Ray but he stopped short and came back, staying by your side again.
He leaned down slightly so that his head was at the same level as yours and asked you directly.
"Has he abused you?" He said, analyzing your reaction.
Surprised by the question, you just lowered your head very embarrassed and shrank into yourself. You did not want to answer that. The man hardened his gaze on you before straightening up to look at Ray.
“Ouken. All yours”, he said in a neutral tone.
You raised your head, not understanding anything, hearing the armor movement from earlier again.
“It will be a pleasure, brother.” You heard the guy in the armor say.
“Brother? Is he Prince Desha's brother? So he is…”
The room fell silent as from a simple cut, Ray's hand fell to the floor. He, without processing what had just happened, just looked at his arm, which was beginning to bubble with blood, and then looked at his hand on the ground still holding the bag of coins.
You let out a gasp as Ouken swung his sword again at Ray's neck. But before seeing the result Desha stepped between you and the scene.
"You don't have to watch this show," he said dryly, turning his back on you. “But I'm not going to allow any rapist or slaver to set foot in my castle. Not my kingdom.” The prince growled, raising his voice enough for him to be heard throughout the castle. “Despa, can you see to it that she gets a bath and food? She looks like she hasn't eaten anything decent in months.”
The blond man approached you with a smile.
“My dear, will you come with me?” He said, offering her one of his arms.
You stared in confusion at the new man named Despa. You turned your gaze to the back of Desha who was starting to walk in Ray's direction. But when you began to see the body of your former master lying on the ground you quickly looked back at Despa. He kept looking at you with the kindest smile you had ever seen.
You nodded nervously passing your arm through his and he began to walk towards a side corridor of the room taking you with him.
A fleeting thought of thanks flashed through your mind like a shooting star, but you refused to trust it. Nothing and no one is that good. There is always something behind. Always.
So here you have my first fanfic. I hope you liked it and it was not too long for you. Of course it is full of typos and grammatical errors but I do what I can.
Perhaps the beginning is a bit boring without the important characters but from now on they won't stop appearing. I promise!
There will be a bit of Ouken x reader as well, but I warned you, that the fanfic is focused on Desha. So I apologize to Ouken fans in advance. :C
Thanks for reading and I'll try to update as soon as possible <3

Welcome
King Desha x Fem!Reader
Hello ! So there it is. I'm still not really sure about the setting of the story but you can think of it as in a happy future.
I'm French, so my English is still lacking but I hope you will still be able to enjoy it !
For now there is no warning but do not worry NSFW will happen, sonner rather than later ;)
Part I
"Next."
King Desha looked bored out of his mind or at least he was in his mind : his appearance was as serious as he needed. Every matter in his kingdom was important, however the day was growing old, and so was his patience.
"King Boji's emissary," the guard announced.
He kept his surprise for himself, feeling that maybe something would finally give him some fun. When his eyes found you, his mouth widened.
"You ! I remember you !" He growled, pointing at you with his scepter.
"I'm glad you remember me." You said without showing it on your face.
"What are you doing here ? Coming to settle our fight ?" He taunted you with a smirk. " Not that you stand a chance against me hehehe !"
"As glad as I would be to spare again with someone as good-looking as you, I'm in fact here as an emissary. "
"And for what purpose?" He asked you, his face darkening for a reason that eluded you.
"King Boji wants to unite your two kingdoms in every way possible, to allow each of them to enjoy their advantages. I have a letter from the king, his words are far better than mine despite his young age. "
You handed the letter to the guard who then presented it to the king. His face twisted in annoyance as his eyes traveled the page with attention. He stayed silent for a moment, thinking about his next move.
"How were you chosen to carry such a mission?" He finally asked.
"I was the only volunteer."
"Why?" His glare was studying you with deadly attention.
"We were interrupted last time, I thought it would be a good opportunity."
"You're quite the strange one…" He took some time to think but like the last time he saw you, there was not much to learn by looking at your face, which was as expressionless as ever. One could only admire your poker face : the only thing he could guess was that you had been in some incident or gruesome fight since your left eye was scared, and your left cheek burned. He thought about your last encounter, trying to seek more information.
*
“I heard some rukus down there, so I came to see what kind of garbage thinks it can attack the Bosse Kingdom...”
You slowly stepped down the stairs, only coming to a stop close to Domas. He was in bad shape against his opponent and there still was an army of golden warriors waiting downstairs. For now, they were waiting for orders. That one was standing in front of you, and even if he was a couple of stairs down, he was still as tall as you. You stopped talking to take a good look at him. His weapon was huge, but you had seen worse with King Bosse, he had a crown on top of his head, and his face was very unordinary.
“I take back what I said,” you corrected with a straight face “ you’re clearly too handsome to be garbage.”
“Are you not a bit too straightforward ?” the obviously king replied smugly while his own men looked at him in disbelief.
“Why ? I’m complimenting you. You have a really good face.”
“Is it your way to taunt your adversary ? You’ll need to do better. Well I guess that’s all a woman can do.”
You blinked, feeling rather unconcerned by his verbal attack.
“I don’t know what my gender has to do with it, but it seems my words are still not good enough. I guess we’ll need to satisfy ourselves with my sword.”
“Your clown of a mate could not even scratch me, you really think you can do better, eh ?”
“We’ll see that.”
The big man moved forward his empty hand, while his weapon stayed on his shoulders. You clenched your fingers around your sword’s guard, readying yourself for anything. All your senses were going crazy, something was definitely not right about that guy. You had already noticed his face, but now you began to think that he was maybe not human. His size, his gray skin, sharp teeth, yeah, maybe you should better be focusing on the fight rather than his appearance. No matter how attractive it was.
Suddenly, it was as if the world was holding his breath. You felt a draught on your forearms, giving you goosebumps. The next second you swiftly took a step aside and the lightning crashed right where you had just stood. You stared at the scortchedstones with a chocked smile.
“Lightning ? Really ? Can you stop becoming more interesting ?” You laughed.
“It’s unsettling to see it being dodge, even for the first time.” He commented looking gloomy despite his smirk. “We’ll just say that you were lucky.”
*
After that they had been interrupted by Boji himself and then Despa, his own brother, had advised him to retreat into the underworld. Still you had left a strange impression on him, and keeping you close might help him understand it.
"I accept you as King Boji’s emissary", he stated. "You will be treated with the respect given by your position, but should you abuse it, I will not hesitate to terminate you myself."
"Thank you King Desha."
You bowed awkwardly, but like a lot of things, you really sucked at it and the king began to laugh restrainlessly.
"Bwe Hehe ! Don't try it if you're so bad at it ! That's ridiculous."
"I'm trying my best here", you pointed back.
You had trained a lot for that moment, and felt dejected by his reaction.
"Try harder then !"
Like that you were dismissed, feeling a lot frustrated. That damn King, you would show him that you could totally be as human as it can be !
Two young maids guided you to your room. The castle was pretty huge but you were used to that kind of building since you had lived in Bosse’s castle for a long time. The blond maid was really quiet while the other brown haired did all the talking. They explained to you where to eat, where to put your clothes to get them cleaned, and all other kinds of things. Meanwhile you caught them sometimes interacting by sign language, which you managed to understand since you had seen your king use it many times. Once you were settled, they took their leave and you quickly signed goodbye. The blonde girl smiled happily, and answered back before leaving for good.
That little interaction gave you a pleasant feeling of home and you began to unpack your things with a small smile. You had no idea for how long you would live here, so you had just taken the minimum, hoping to buy anything when needed. For now, the day was ending, you had eaten on the road and were really beaten by all that traveling. So you quickly hit your new bed and fell asleep.
*
The next day, King Desha had not forgotten about you. However, he had a lot of work to do for the general maintenance of his kingdom before having the free time to give you any kind of attention. The morning quickly passed, and he took the way around to go eat. The training ground was not too far from the barracks, where the soldiers lived, ate, and slept. And often he would go there in order to keep in shape, or to watch their training, and even sometimes to eat with his men. He did not want to be a distant, condescending king. So right now, he was walking toward there for the sake of passing time, when he heard some excited voices. A tad curious, he came closer.
There were a lot of regular guards cheering on the side while a couple of the older ones were mixed with them. And in the middle of the area he saw the captain without his emblematic armor fighting against you. You only had a dark sports bra and your usual skinny pants. Both of you were sweating a lot, even without the sun, it was hot enough. You were using two short swords with such dexterity that they were like your arms’ extensions. Meanwhile the halberd in front of you did not seem to bother you that much. Desha found himself glaring at your movements, the way you were dodging and attacking was incredible. Not particularly strong or flashy, but you seemed to always feel the attacks and the opportunity. Almost instinctively.
In the end, you won your fight against the captain, it was just for fun so you did not take any pride in doing so. You were going to stop for the day, when a big shadow was cast on you.
"Dare to fight me, he ?"
"King Desha!"
You suddenly felt flustered and did an awkward bow.
"You're still so bad at it !" He laughed. "Just stop it if you can not do it properly !"
The anger took the best of you.
"Just show me how it is done then !"
"No. Nobody does that kind of thing around here."
"What ? But I thought…" You remembered the time spent with Hilling, teaching you how to behave in front of a king. All this for nothing ??
"Yeah no. Only your worth is important here. So are those things for show or can you use them ?" Desha had not an ounce of pity for you, he was mocking you.
"I can use them." You claimed between your teeth, taking position.
"Exactly what I wanted to hear…"
This time he looked more serious even if you could see that his eyes were still judging you. He wanted to know if you were a threat for his kingdom. And you wanted to show him your skills so he would acknowledge you, but also you did not want to scare him off. Since you were not human. You had already made a fool of yourself, you had to do better ! This was your chance !
Unlike last time, he only had a training sword as a weapon, but when he started to fight… You were so mesmerized that you almost forgot to dodge. That man held no hesitation, not a single movement was wasted and he also had no restrain. His style was ever changing, once playing dirty then using well-known tricks or famous techniques. You were out of breath, always dodging, coutering, attacking. You could sense his attacks only a split second before they fell upon you, but even that was not enough to take the lead. Still you were smiling without even thinking about it.
Desha had thought it would be easy, the last time at Bosse’s Castle had to be a lucky move from you. But each passing second made him realize that it was not the case at all. He was now sure that you were not a mere human, there was something else about you. Soon he found himself immersed in the fight. With his strength it was a rare occurrence : usually people could not keep up with him. At that instant he was not utterly serious, but enough to enjoy it. For a moment, he felt like he could still train with his brother Ouken. He was such a genius with his sword that they could spare almost equally. You were obviously not a genius with your swords, if Desha had to describe it, it was more like your weapons were slowing you down. Once he had noticed it, he immediately used his sword to skillfully snap them away from you.
You were so focused on the action that when your weapons hit the floor, you just rushed forward without hesitation. The king had not seen it coming, you made him fall on his back, your claws close to his throat, and your mouth opened on your big fangs, a low and threatening growl could be heard. Desha had fallen more by surprise than anything else, but when he saw your real apparence, he began to smirk pridefully.
“So that’s what you were hiding, eh.”
“Oh. I lost my cool.” You noticed. “But it’s your fault, your pretty face is making me.”
His smirk disappeared and he pushed you away, not violently but with excessive strength. However, you just thought that he was keeping proper his king’s image.
“Come with me.”
You nodded, and after picking your weapons, you followed him. The guards let you pass, and you notice that some were looking at you with a bit of surprise or even fear. You had not transformed in front of people for a very long time. And seeing their glare was giving you bad reminiscences. Anyway, you made yourself focus on what was to come and not what had already happened.
Desha led you to a rather spacious room. A big table had been dressed in the center with a lot of food on it.
“I thought you had forgotten about our arrangment” A blond man said.
You looked at him with curiosity, he was smaller than you, well dressed and groomed. He was really different from the other people you had seen around here, but his behavior was giving away his noble position.
“I encountered a short delay”, grumbled Desha while letting himself heavily drop on the biggest chair.
“I can see that”, he smiled playfully. “Brother, who is that charming lady ?”
“She’s the one I talked to you about,” Desha explained, already beginning to drink some ale.
“I see…” You felt as if the blond man was studying you across the table. “However, it’s a gigantic project, it’s gonna take a lot of time and thoughts.”
“That’s exactly why I need you Despa.”
Seeing that the two men were brothers and talking about your mission, you decided that you could as well have a seat rather than listening while standing. You were hungry, and since Desha had forgotten about you, you began to eat in silence.
“Before we begin to work with you,” Desha called out to you.
You stopped, a big juicy piece of meat dropping in front of your opened mouth. You looked at him without moving, grace nowhere to be found, making Despa laugh behind his hand.
“I understand that I deserve it,” he kept going while ignoring your behavior, “my face is my burden to shoulder, however I would appreciate that you quit your habits of always making fun of it.”
“I’m not making fun of it.” You replied a bit surprised by his request.
“As I just said”, he repeated looking angrier, “I know my face all too well, you will need to find something else to make fun of me.”
"I'm sorry, but I'll have to repeat myself too", you insisted, a bit annoyed that your words were distorted. "I really like your face, I find you handsome, that is not a joke."
Despa was sitting across you, and at Desha’s left, looking in turn at both of you with a mix of surprise and enjoyment. He already had a good understanding of what was happening, and now he could not wait to see how his brother would react.
“Stop it !” The king snapped, loudly hitting his fist on the table. “The fact that my face is the same as Satun’s is not a subject to jokes !”
“No you stop !” You said angrily. “I’m sorry if I’m not talking correctly, but I’m always telling my mind. And firstly, who’s that Satun ?!”
Really, that man knew how to trigger you ! You had spent a lot of time in Queen Hilling company to learn how to talk and behave properly around a king, specifically for your time here, and that specific royal was constantly belittling your efforts.
At least Despa was having a real good time, barely succeeding to hold onto his laugh.
“Satun was the previous cruel and despotic King of the Underworld”, he quickly explained, his face twitching because of his effort to stay cool. “As well as our father.”
“Still nothing”, you shrugged off. “Now that this misunderstanding has been cleared, can I keep speaking my mind ?”
Desha let himself fall again in his chair, he looked a bit dejected and flustered at the same time. You could even notice a little bit of pink on top of his ears.
“I guess it can't be helped then… But try not to embarrass me in front of my people”, he decided.
“I can live with that.”
At last, Despa burst into laughter, even falling on the floor, and looking about to die of hilarity.
“Have you no pride Despa ?” He asked furiously to his brother, obviously annoyed by his behavior.
“I'm sorry…” the blond man succeeded to apologize between two fits of laughter, making it obvious that he was not.
Meanwhile, you resumed eating, satisfied that the king had finally accepted that you were not talking rubbish about your tastes. However, it took a while longer for Despa to calm down, fortunately he achieved it before Desha decided to throw him out of his castle. The three of you kept eating, the mood much lighter than before.
Maybe coming here had been a good idea, you happily thought.
Thank you for reading ! I can't wait for Desha and Reader to be together hehe ! ;) (And don't bother with the title Idk why I chose it but now it stucked).

OK, I have some feelings I want to express.
The most tragic thing about Desha - the Underworld Bros together really, but specifically Desha because he's the one sitting on the throne - is that he won. He's lived the shonen protagonist's story, from underdog, to freedom fighter and finally leader. Long before Bojji's story began, Desha had reached the top, reached the place where most shonen protagonist stories end.
Except it never really ends there. Desha's story continued, and in that time he lost both his brothers, his pillars of support, the people who got him to where he is today. One brother is literally a shell of his former self, a rampaging monster, and the other brother could not tolerate living in the same building anymore and left. Sure, they talk occasionally, and there is trust there, but it's always strained, and arguably the only thing keeping them talking at all is Ouken.
Desha's shonen protagonist story is also far less rosy than is typical. He couldn't save everyone. People died in droves. Innocents died, sometimes by his own hand. He has to sit on that throne he murdered his father on and remember not only that day but all the things he did to get there. The child whose throat he slit to keep fighting.
He can't bear to look at Despa for the same reason he can't bear to look at himself - the overwhelming guilt and terror that comes with not only looking like the most vile creature you ever knew, but knowing you did things that would make that creature proud. Knowing that, losing the family you considered better people - Ouken especially - and knowing that one foot wrong could put him in the same shoes as the man who ate his own people. Desha is a great king because he knows how hard it is to be good, and how you have to work every day to be consistently good, and that no matter how hard you try, sometimes you will fail.
His people's happiness and prosperity is built not only on the genuinely good reforms and changes Desha made, but also on the blood of the people he put to the sword to make it all happen. His people love him so much that they built a statue to honour him, but Desha is so wracked with self-loathing that he defaces it. He recognises his people's love for him, but he is still miserable.
What's left of his family unit is in shambles, and for the longest time he held out hope that he could put it right and keep his people happy, but Desha knows from experience that no matter how well-intentioned you are, things won't always go the way you want, and he is more than prepared for that. He goes into the next treasury knowing that he is risking years of peace and prosperity for his people for one family member, but Desha is no longer willing to disregard his own personal happiness or the happiness of his loved ones for the greater good.
Desha has sat on his throne for years wondering if he's doomed his own family, if he has become the root cause of his brothers' suffering like their father was to all three of them growing up, by fighting for the greater good of his realm. He became a revered king, but his throne room is always eerily empty. If not for the few people who visit him, like the Committee Guy or Bojji and Kage, Desha would be entirely alone in that room.
This, contrasted with the scene in which all three brothers are together in that room, paint a picture of a desperately sad and lonely man who just wants his family back. And now, with no options left but the very worst, Desha takes it.
Desha most likely feels that he lost the war against his father, or he fears that this could be the case. After doing everything in his power to ensure victory, he still lost. So saving Ouken is the only way he can truly win, his last chance to secure happiness for his broken family. Because if Satun's death can succeed in destroying his sons, Satun truly wins.
