Emi: Beat up the first guy who said something.

Goro: Duh.

Emi: Meet our daughters. *gives newborn Yoshi and newborn Yuri to Goro*

Goro: *sits and stares at baby Yoshi and baby Yuri in his arms*

Goro: ...

*like an hour later*

Goro: ...

Emi: Goro, I need them back to feed them-

Becky: You really want a robot for a friend?

Yuri: Yeah, ever since I was three.

Yuri, holding a frog: I'm naming him Steve.

Yoshi: Why Steve?

Yuri: Because he looks like a Steve!

Yoshi: Well, you can't argue with logic like that.

Yoshi: Today was awful.

Becky: Tomorrow is a new day.

Yoshi: Is that a threat?

What a shitshow. I'll tell you what, you could take this jungle, and stick it. My life may be a world of pain, but from here on out it's gonna be cool, comfortable, air-conditioned pain.

Finally did the Mizuno parents in this picrew. Goro and Emi.

Becky: Sorry I'm late. I was doing things.

Yoshi: Hi, I'm things.

Some girl: *gives Yuri a flirty glance*

Yuri: Eh..?

Yoshi: (internally) She wants to do yuri with Yuri?

Yesterday at the store, the cashier said "Your receipt is in the bag" and I responded with "You too", so I've been dealing with that for the past 18 hours. I'm slowly coming to terms with it, which is cool.

Goro: When Yoshi and Yuri were three or four, they were watching Sesame Street in the other room when a Muppet started playing electric guitar.

Goro: They ran in and Yuri said "Daddy, you like rock and roll music, right?"

Goro: "I do," I said.

Goro: They took my hands and Yoshi said "We think you're really gonna enjoy this".

Yoshi: Surgery is just stabbing someone to life.

Emi: Please never become a surgeon.

So with it being Pride Month, I wanted to do something a bit more dramatic for Becky and Yoshi's confession.

So, Yoshi still tells Becky that she loves her after the Thanksgiving Kitchen Disaster of 1997, but it comes off as more platonic, and Becky takes it as such. After that, Yoshi was internally kicking herself "Damn it, you had the perfect shot right there and blew it", and Becky was feeling the same way. But they never worked up the nerve to tell each other how they felt, because they didn't want to risk making their friendship "weird" in case one of them didn't feel the same way.

However, they didn't have to wait long at all. Becky went up to NYC to spend part of Christmas with the Mizunos. And she was really seeing NYC, not Hazelnut, as her home, in no small part due to the Mizunos really feeling like family. Whenever she was away from NYC, she found herself longing for it.

Anyway, Becky and Yoshi decided to go to Central Park to enjoy the Christmas lights one night, and it was snowing. They got there and took in the lights...

"Wow, this is really pretty."

"Yeah... it ain't bad."

"And, uh... that's really pretty too. The way the lights are reflecting in your glasses."

"Aww... well, thanks."

They looked for a bit more.

"Hey... I've thought about this for a while, but after school, I'm not moving back to Hazelnut. I'm gonna move here."

"... whoa... really?"

"Yeah. I feel more at home here than I ever have in Hazelnut. I mean, I love the city itself, and well, your family... I want to make this my home, too."

"... I'd like that. WE'D like that."

"Thanks... Yoshi, thank you. For everything. You've been such a good friend, and you didn't have to make me part of your life outside of school. But you did. That means so much to me. I don't know where I'd be without you and your family... but especially you."

"Hey, you're starting to make me blush. But, hey... for the queen of the WASPs, you're pretty great yourself."

Becky gives a little giggle. "Thanks..."

And that's when Yoshi can't hold it in anymore. She leans up on her tiptoes and gives Becky a kiss right on the lips. Becky is... blindsided.

"Oh my - I'm so sorry, I don't know what - I couldn't-"

Becky is still in a state of shock. And blushing furiously. Almost as much as Yoshi is.

"... look, I can't take this anymore. I love you, okay? I have for months now. I've never felt this way about ANYONE before, and I dunno why 'cuz we're so different, but I just DO, okay?! I'm really sorry if I make you feel weird, and if you want a different roommate, I'd underst-" But Becky put her finger to Yoshi's lips.

"... Yoshi... I love you too!"

Now Yoshi was like a deer in headlights. "The fuc-"

Becky glomped her, and was now in happy tears. "I love you so much!"

Yoshi, starting to cry happy tears herself, returned her hug. "I love you too, Blondie..."

Then, after making sure no one else was around, they shared another, longer kiss, surrounded by the lights and falling snow.

Afterward, they realized it was getting kind of late. Yoshi was like "... I think I'd better call Yuri and tell her we won't be coming home (they were staying at the Mizuno family home, with Becky sleeping on the couch). We're gonna get a room."

"Sounds like a good idea to me."

Yuri: I'm... Yuri. I'm... I'm just a-a girl. I-I guess? Um.

Yuri: I don't really like labels. I'm just sort of, like, myself. You know?
