Ohhhhhh Baby!!
So I've been using my Maybeliline Baby Skin since Saturday and I am honestly loving it! I have quite large pores on my nose (eww!) and this stuff really does it's job. My make-up goes on smoother and it lasts all day. A little goes a long way and the result is so noticeable that I have a nerve to stock up on it....or horde it lol
Really don't know what I did without this!!! I'd advise this for anyone with fine lines or slight imperfections, it's fab :) Karla xx

Happy 2014!!
Bit late on the 'happy New Year' bandwagon but better late than never! Hope you all had a fab Christmas and are (so far) having a happy 2014!! So last year my New Years resolution was to keep a weekly blog. I failed miserably but with a new year comes new opportunities! Yay!! So I am again going to try to keep this updated and....I'm thinking of starting a beauty channel on YouTube. Just as a hobby. Karla xx

Grrrr!!
I searched the internet for a pair of shoes that mom wanted, finely found a pair in her size and ordered them this morning. Delighted with myself all day having ordered her main present. That was until 7pm when an English number came up on my phone. I answered it and listened as a man explained in an apologetic voice that I will not be getting the shoes I ordered. The manager brought the shoes up into shop floor left them down and they vanished. Somebody saw their chance and stole them. They offered to refund me or send me the shoes in a different colour, I chose the different colour but it really upset me. To think I had found the perfect present just to have it snatched away.

Whovian!
So I am a huge Doctor Who fan. Satuday I made the hour long trip to the cinema (yes the closest cinema is an hour away!) to see the amazing 50th anniversary 'The Day of the Doctor'. I'm not going to go on about how much I loved the episode because, lets face it, most of ye don't care!
I'm only writing this post because of the amount of merchendising there is surrounding Doctor Who, I have a feeling most of my presents will be Doctor Who related (I'm not complaining) but what has gotten me so surprised is the things you can get, for example, a tardis soap dispenser and even a tardis waste bin. Of course I couldn't resist on jumping on the bandwagon so I got this
Yes, it's a Christmas decoration and yes, i love it haha. Can't wait to put it on the tree. I am such a child. Anyways just a random post. Hope all my fellow whovians enjoyed the 50th, now to prepare for the Christmas episode!!!!!!!

'C' is for Costa
I'm a huge Starbucks fan but since it's a 4 hour drive for my fix (not even I am that crazy) I go to the next best thing, Costa (sorry Costa, nothing personal ;)) Costa have recently brought out their festive collection of drinks and wow, they are amazing!! my favourite is the white hot chocolate
LOOK AT THE LITTLE GOLD STARS!!! If that isn't Christmassy then I don't know what is. Drop into Costa while doing your festive shopping to taste it for yourself, if you're not a chocolate fan then i'm sure there is something on their menu to satisfy your taste buds :)

McBusted!
So as a teenager I loved Busted, even got to see them play live before they broke up. You could imagine my excitement when i heard that McFly (another band I've seen live and love) are teaming up with Matt and James from Busted to form McBusted!! This is all very exciting BUT they have yet to announce an Irish date. If they don't come then I'll be devastated!! I even dug out my old Busted bag in the hope that I will get too see them someday. Yes, I am a 12 year old fan-girl at heart!!

Brace face!!
So last month, on the 4th of October I got BRACES!!!!!! I'm 22 years old and never thought growing up that i would have braces as an adult but my bite got so bad and was causing me so much stress that i went for it.
I met with my orthodontist in september and he told me that it would be useless to just get braces on their own as my bite needs surgical correction (yes, it's THAT bad!) So after much debate i decided what the heck, i'll do it! I got clear braces on top and metal on bottom. To be honest they're not that bad, except when eating and the constant fear of getting food caught in them!! The shame of it!! And also the fact that i look like a 15 year old, this i admit his its good points haha.
So anyways, 2 weeks ago i met with the surgeon and he told me i will first be having surgery to remove all my wisdom teeth in 11-12 months (yay?) and then six months after that i will have my double jaw surgery! This will correct my open bite and my underbite. i'll have my braces off around 6 months after the surgery so my full treatment period is 2 years. I can't wait to have a perfect smile, even if i'll be in tonnes of pain for a few weeks!!
brace face for a long time yet but it will be worth it!
