Genre: Industrial Metal

This band originated in Orlando, Florida and proclaims themselves to be "The World's Sexiest Rock Band"!

They have 4 albums and I think should check em' out!

Hey music loverz!

This is a more popular band (though I've not met anyone who listens to them), but I thought I'd recommend them anyway!

Genre: Experimental rock/Avant-Garde Metal (though it changes throughout)

This band was formed in Eureka, California in 1985! You may know the lead singer, Mike Patton, for his other bands. A few include Faith No More and Tomahawk (which I plan on going more into another time).

This band also is considered a pioneer of the genre 'Avant-Garde Metal'!

The band is known for being odd with the usage of unconventional song structures, instruments and dressing up in masks and costumes and influencing many bands (like Mushroomhead, Slipknot, SoaD etc).

They have 4 albums, but I'd recommend to start with either their Self Titled from 1991 or California (2001)!

Are you a fan of Sisters Of Mercy? What about Skeletal Family?

No.. what about both? Well if you are I have just the band for you!

Ghost Dance is a gothic rock band that was formed by Gary Marx (The Sisters Of Mercy) and Anne Marie (Skeletal Family) around 1985!

With 2 albums, this band definitely makes it up my list in favorite Goth bands.

Have you ever had a hard time finding metal bands that were woman led?

I have a band for you then!

Last.fm describes them as:

“a French metal band from Marseille. They have garned much attention and critical acclaim for their mix of different styles such as Nu-Metal, Death Metal, Alternative Metal and, more recently, Deathcore into one unique sound.”

They have 6 albums and are worth checking out! Personally I love them, I'm a big fan of their early stuff and love to listen to them in my freetime. Would love to get them on CD💿, but you should check them out too!

Okay. I just wanna say. Why is emo used as such an insult nowadays? Like, if someone calls me emo, that's litterally the best compliment ever. Emos are cool as hell.
