Usually, I'd say about 8. It's pretty unmanageable, if you couldn't tell. But when I first dry my hair after a shower, it's... a 20/10.

Oh! Maybe at first... but you can't have too much of a good thing, right? I'm assuming something would happen to them, or they'd stop working. But thanks for the idea! I'll have to google some good luck charms, and I could carry one or two with me at a time, and see if that makes a difference.

Of course I do... don't worry, you're not alone.
The best thing you can do to ensure that your friends' feelings don't get hurt is fairly simple: let them them know that you're agitated. Let them understand that you cant pinpoint the reason you're upset and it isn't anyone's fault, and they should respect your space. But...

Please don't forget to take care of yourself after doing so, and don't expect to stop being irritated as soon as they know you're feeling that way. Try using a distraction, and making room for some alone time so you can properly get more comfortable with your surroundings.

I’m under a lot of stress. What’s something you use to stress relieve?
Let's see... have you ever tried breathing techniques? I make an effort to use them almost daily, and it's been beneficial to me. Breathing in for 4 seconds, holding it in for 4 seconds, and then breathing out for 4 seconds is a great one, and it can be pretty convenient when you're starting to feel overwhelmed. However... if you meant to hear something more casual that helps me relax, I always try to distract myself in the place I feel most comfortable.

Your surroundings have a lot to do with your stress levels, and so does your company. You could even go for a short walk (by yourself or with a pet) and listen to music or a podcast that you can get immersed in. As long as your brain is somewhere else, it'll give you a few moments to relax and hopefully calm down permanently, too.
Oh, and don't forget to let your friends help you. If youd like, you can talk to me or leave something in my inbox whenever you're feeling scared or angry. I can even give you some movie recommendations if you're thinking about retiring for the night.

Ive recently been wanting to go to any kind of doctor that could help me with my ( what i asume is) a extreme case of anxiety, i havent even been diagnosed, but my parents just wont take me to get help, ive pased the last few nights without sleep thanks to my paranoia and my parents think im just over exageratting everything. I know this isnt normal, and something is wrong with me, but i just can get the help i need and ive been so stressed out that no one believes me about my problems.
Ah, sorry for the wait! I'm so sorry to hear that you're in distress... I know anxiety and stress can be absolutely debilitating, but try not to lose hope just yet.

I do think seeing a doctor is your best bet, because they can refer you to a therapist or two in your area. If your parents will at least listen to a professional, there's a good enough chance that might change their minds. But... if they're refusing to take that step themselves, you might want to ask a friend or a sibling if they can make an appointment for you. I don't know your situation, of course, so please keep in touch if you need a hand! This is serious business, and I'd like to see to it that you get the help you need.
In the meantime, you must remind yourself that there isn't something "wrong" with you. A disorder is something you cannot control, and I'm sure dealing with it for this long has made you so much stronger as a person. If you're still having trouble sleeping, I suggest doing some more exercise during the day and avoiding caffeine after 12 pm. Pamper yourself by keeping your space clean and comfortable, and try not to eat dinner too late either, because your digestive system will keep you awake. Your body will be tired naturally this way, so I hope this helps you get some much needed rest. Please be safe and continue to ask for help when you need it. Good luck!

Hi, Nagito! I'm going to my first LGBT+ pride event on the 18th of this month (I'm out as ace) and I'm not sure what to expect. Any tips and general advice for a first-timer?

Okay. One thing's for sure, bring lots of refreshments and snacks! Pride events are giant parties, and they require a lot of walking around (and dancing, playing games, etc) under the hot sun. I'd also suggest bringing sun screen, and a hat with a brim to provide some extra shade.
It's also important to stay safe, so bring as many friends with you as possible! Keep your phone fully charged, and try not to go wandering off for too long. It's more fun with a group anyway!
Lastly, if you're a sex-repulsed ace, you might feel a little bit uncomfortable at times. You'll be surrounded by people proudly showcasing their sexualities, which is great! But occasionally, you might end up seeing a little too much. All the more reason to stay safe.
So, I hope you have a great time at pride! All in all, it's a wonderful experience and I'm happy that you have the opportunity to go. Be sure to tell me how it goes!

um, so. recently i started trying out the label of genderfluid, and i don't have any problems with that specifically! but i came out to some of my friends and i feel like they're all losing respect for me,, and i know one of them straight up doesn't believe in genderfluidity,, and i just don't really know what to do ;;
Gender identity is part of what makes us unique. I'm proud of you for trying new things!

As for your friends, I think it's important to remember that a true friend will always have your best interest at heart. These people do care about you, so if I were in your shoes... I'd tell them how I feel. You're obviously feeling as though you're not earning their respect, so the best thing you can do is communicate that! You have no reason to change for anybody, especially a vital part of who you are.
If they still have a hard time accepting the genderfluid label, they might just need it explained in terms they understand. Some people are exposed to new things in ways that skew their opinions negatively. Remember to stand your ground, and be confident! There's nothing wrong with you, after all. Congratulations on finding a label you identify with!

Sure! I understand how you feel. Being alone can make you feel pretty unsafe, among other things. Make sure you're keeping contact with your friends and family, and have someone let your neighbors know you're there. Why don't you throw a party for yourself? Put on a comforting movie or TV show, make a snack, and warm up a blanket in the dryer to keep yourself cozy and distracted. You could even make a pillow fort!
