Regarding my blog

After much consideration, I have decided that I am going to decommission this blog and my others. I do not have adequate time to maintain the four that I run and I am dissatisfied with the content on my dash. Rather than unfollow almost all 1660 blogs that I follow, I have decided that I am just going to start a new account. I will be leaving all but two of these blogs up, (this one because it is my primary and my rp blog so I can start a new one with the same threads) however, there will be no new content and I will not be answering any messages.

The Net Neutrality issue summarized

You (or your parents) pay approx $40-$100 or higher for internet. 

So that you can all use youtube, google, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, etc. etc. etc. This isn’t limited to social media.  

Net neutrality says, “Okay, since you already paid x amount of money for the month, you don’t have to pay for each asset individually. Enjoy your internet.”  NO net neutrality means that your service provider (comcast, at&t, verizon, whatever it may be) gets to say “ACTUALLY, it lines our pockets so give us an extra $5.99 for Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. Oh, but that doesn’t include Tumblr; that comes with our premium package. That’ll be $5.99 on its own as well. Now about your Google docs and email…" 

That’s why it’s important. That’s why I’m spamming Net Neutrality crap. If you’re using the internet, it’s YOUR problem.

You can be flawed and make mistakes and still be worthy of love

Lets look at religion for a second. Most religions have deities that are almost human. They have flaws, they mke mistakes, they're relatable, they have their own strengths and weaknesses and experiences. This can be seen especially with Greek and Roman mythology (looking at you Zeus/Jupiter), but I'm not oddly knowledgeable in that region, so lets go with Norse as an example. Norse mythology is filled with stories and deities with flaws. They all make mistakes and they all have that one thing they're not good at. Loki is the best example of this. He did some awful things in mythology, extremely flawed. But he had a wife that loved and cared for him deeply (like stood over him with a bowl to catch snake venom that would drip on him while he was imprisoned deep), he had kids, people worshipped him. Thor was by far no less innocent or flawless. He was a bit of a jerk, he seriously screwed up many times, but he had people who loved him and worshipped him. You can find this with Odin, Sif, Posidon/Neptune, Hades/Pluto, Ra, Osiris, so many gods are imperfect.

So if a deity who has made mistakes and has qualities that make them imperfect can still be worthy of love and happiness
