{ Sequel to Insecure }

{This is a continuation by popular demand, if you haven't read Insecure please do so to avoid confusion! }

Genre: Angst, Fluff, Hurt-comfort.

Tw: ⚠️Swearing, meantions of blood, heavy gorey shit in the bonus part, please avoid if you dont wanna be disgusted⚠️

Simeon was humming while putting back the books into their respective racks in the library. He turned around and picked another book to study from. After being an angel for hundreds of years, you would've thought he finished studying, no he didn't he loves to take things slow.

He got out of the library and walked towards the little marble table. He sat down and was about to open the book when he heard his name being called from afar.

He looked up and saw Luke running towards him rushingly. Luke never runs. So the sight was amusing to him as Luke looked so cute.

"What is it? Why are you in a hurry?" He asked once Luke arrived. Luke bend down, hands on his knees as he tried to catch his breath.

"No time, Come with me!" He pulled Simeon's arm and dragged him, running again.

Simeon was confused but followed anyways, running through the Celestial Realm.

They caught a few angels attention which cause Simeon to blush in embarassment. His embarassment turned to confusion when they reach a place he was so used to.

Light, a place where new souls gather.Souls of those who haven't received their end, souls of people who just passed away, souls of those which have no path yet.

He frowned when Luke slowed down, "Luke... why are we here,"

Luke kept quiet and continue dragging him. They ended up in a park like place. There was a girl, crouching down while poking at a flower. Then, a butterfly flew from her, she got up and turned towards the butterfly, chasing it. While she turn, she managed to expose her face to Simeon and Luke.

"That's...." Simeone started.

"Mc.." Luke continued.

Simeon shook his head ," why is she here? How is she even here in the first place?" He asked Luke.

Luke sighed, "Simeon, look at her clothes." Simeon turned to her, she was in a white dress, there was a gold bracelet on her wrist and ankle. Simeon's heart dropped.

"Oh...that's...so soon. She was so young.." he said softly,

Luke nodded,"But she's smiling, it's been a while since I saw her this way," Luke said.

"Wanna go talk to her?" Simeon asked, Luke nodded slowly, simeon took slow steps towards her.

"Hi" he said, crouching down beside you

You jumped a little, " Hi, wow are you an angel?" You asked excitedly.

Simeon's heart clenched, you're still the same, you're still the soft girl he knew.

"Yeah, I'm Simeon, This here is Luke. " he pointed to Luke, Luke waved his hand,

You smiled,"Hi luke, Hi Simeon. I would give you my name but I don't remember it" you scratched your head a little,

Simeon chuckled, he plucked out a flower and slide it on your ear,

"Want me to give you one?" Simeon asked.

"Can you?" Your eyes gleamed in excitement, Simeon looked at Luke and saw his eyes filling with tears.

"Luke? Wanna give her one?" Simeon asked.

Luke crouched down too, "hmm... What about, mc?"

You thought for a moment, and felt a sense of Deja Vu, but you ignored it, "that sounds nice, wow an angel gave me a name, it felt oddly familiar though," you said.

Simeon pat your hair,"Goodluck on your journey Mc," He got up along with Luke, "We'll be taking our leave now, find us if you need help,"

Luke let out a sniffle once they're further enough, "she doesn't remember us",

Simeone pat his head,"of course she doesn't, you know it Luke.",

Luke nodded, "it's just... our memories with her.. "

Simeone smiled, "we remembered them,that's enough. it's okay, we gotta inform Diavolo, come."

Not long after, Simeon was summoned by Michael. Simeon bowed down before him.

"Simeon,I take it you already know?"

"Yes, I do."he responded,

Michael hummed, "You don't have any wish from me? Nothing you want to ask for?"

Simeon looked up, "There's a lot ,Father. But I fear that she will suffer again. She's been through enough. It's up to you and her. I simply wish there will be no more hardships for her."

Michael smiled, "Very well. Do you wish to know the cause?"

Simeon nodded,"I would like to know."

After Michael informed him about your death, he was silent,his chest hurt from that. How did you manage to attract misfortunes after misfortunes that easily?

Such an unfortunate soul.

"May I know what will be the punishment for the witch?" Simeon asked.

"She's in the hands of The Demon Lord. That itself is already a punishment, don't you think so?" He answered.

"You may see her one last time, she will be going off in an hour." Michael informed.

Simeon bowed and took his leave. Luke was waiting for him. He told Luke everything and went to see her one last time, for now.

"Mc!" Luke called as he saw you sitting down on the grass.

"There's benches over there, why are you on the ground?" Simeon asked but joined you on the grass anyways. Luke sat down in front of you,

"It's just, so pretty, It's so calming. I don't remember anything but I can feel myself letting go. I like it here"you answered him.

"Do you, really not remember anything from your past life?"Luke asked hesitantly.

"No, whenever I try to...there's this pain that kind of stops me from remembering, I don't know wheter its protecting me or not.But I feel so comfortable around both of you." You answered.

Luke and Simeon smiled, "It's protecting you from the past, so don't force it too much." He answered

You nodded,"but... are you a part of my past? Is that why I feel so safe? Can I ask you that?" You asked them.

Luke threw Simeon a look, Simeon nodded allowing him to talk, "we were, just for a while but it was the most precious memory for us. "

You light up, "really?! Angels were part of my life? Wow... I'm sorry I don't remember," You said sadly.

Luke shook his head,"It's okay, we want you to be happy more than anything, "

You beamed at his answer. "I know you guys are my best part of my life too.",

Before long, an angel came and fetch you, saying 'it's time', Simeon grabbed your arm and said,"follow your heart, Mc. We'll meet again"

You nodded and smiled widely. When you walk away, Simeon and Luke stared at your back, smiling, knowing you will be just fine now.

You followed the angel and ended up in a room.

A dark room with nothing. You don't know how big the room was, it felt endless, it felt like there was no end.

"Go ahead,my dear" a voice spoke,

You turned to around and saw a path. It was bright, and pretty . You walked confidently towards it but then you realized there was one more path.

Standing at the end of each path, you wondered which way you want to go.

You were so drawn towards the light, but your heart says otherwise. Your heart felt heavy at the thought of stepping into the light. You looked at the dark. Wondering what's in it that was causing you to hesitate like this.

You closed your eyes as you remembered Simeon's words.

Follow your heart.

You turned your heels and walked down the dark,

"Goodluck my dear," the same voice spoke out as you walked to the edge. There was no more road to walk. There was a huge endless pit in front of you.

Clenching your fists, you decided it was now or never. You let your body fell into the pit. Your back burns a little, causing you to wince, but it was over faster than it started.

Your eyes were closed the entire time, once you fell with a thud on the grass, you yelped and sat up. You scanned around and saw darkness. It was so dark it almost scare you.

"Hello there," you jumped a little, You turned towards the voice, "hi" you greeted. The man offered you his hand, you grab it.

"I hope your journey here wasn't exhausting," he spoke

You smiled,"it wasn't,"

You two walked, hand in hand as he led you somewhere you don't know. You arrived at a small house.

"Go inside and change,I will be here waiting,"

You walked inside and was surprised at how aesthetically pleasing it was. You saw a set of uniform and grabbed it. Changing into it. You looked at yourself in the mirror, another weird sense of familiarity. You shook your head and walked out.

"Are you ready? We're gonna greet the Lord for now."he explained softly.

You nodded and followed him again.

You reached a huge castle, it was black but it was so breathtaking. Your steps slowed down once you reached inside, walking slowly and running a little to catch up with your guide.

You both stopped in front of a huge door.

"The Lord is waiting, Give him your name and greetings, He will proceed from there." He explained. You gulped a little.

"Hey,?", you called out to the guy,

"Yes?" He smiled as he turned back to you,

"What's your name?" You asked with a smile,

He smiled and looked down on his feet.

"Solomon." He said after a while.

"Thank you Solomon!" You said before turning back once he nodded and turned away.

"You're welcome idiot," he whispered under his breath, tears falling down as he choked up.

You walked inside once the door was opened. You noticed that there were other people there but you paid them no mind as you walked towards the Lord.

You bowed down, "My name is Mc, It's very nice to meet you My Lord," You spoke.

Looking up, you noticed he had a pained look on his face , you turned your eyes to look at the other people in there. Some of them were not even looking at you. Most of them were looking down, looking away, avoiding eye contact with you.

You turned back to him "I apologize, did I do something wrong for you to have such expression my Lord?" You asked softly. Diavoli smiled, amazed at how you're still quick at reading people's face.

Diavolo's chest tighten, it's you. In front of him. Talking and well. He kept his cool , "No you haven't. I apologized for looking like that, welcome Mc. Shall I introduce you to them? Those are the 7 Rukers of Hell. Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Satan, Amodeus, Beelzebub and Belphegor. You will be seeing them a lot so I would like it If you get along."

Not sure what you should do, you raised your hand and waved at themas a greeting. Lucifer chuckled dryly. You're still the same as what he remember. Soft and innocent.

The brothers could barely hold their tears, and now seeing you in front of them. They can't help but release some. You were shocked.

"Oh, are you crying? What did I do?" You turned towards Diavolo.

Lucifer stepped up,"Nothing, you did nothing, please forgive my brothers. Welcome, Mc. I look forward to working with you in the future, " he said extending his hand, You shook his hand and looked up to him with a smile.

Soon the brothers came and greet you one by one. You were overwhelmed but happy. Your heart felt lighter, making you happy that you chose this path. You looked around the chaotic room and smiled. You don't know why but you felt content and satisfied. Maybe these people were once your friends, or even family. You don't know but You don't care. You just felt happy.

Diavolo came beside Lucifer and pat his shoulder, "you can always tell her you know," Lucifer chuckled and shook his head.

"No. I'm not going to do that . She doesn't need to remember the pain. She's here. That's all that matters." He said sadly.

Satan came up to him. "So...what is she? A student? "

Diavolo shook his head, "she'll be working at the school, not as a student. " satan nodded.

"Can i feel happy about this?" Satan asked. Lucifer nodded, "wasn't quite what we asked for but... take it as a second chance.let's Do better. "

Lucifer and Satan stared at you that were talking to their brothers. Images of you laughing and playing around with them back then came into their memory,

You had the same smile, the same glisten in your eyes, the same excitement, the same energy. Only thing that was different was,

Your back had a pair of black wing attached to it.

"Um.. may I ask something?," you called,

"Yes, Mc?," Diavoli replied, everyone turned their attention to you,

"Have we met before?" You asked innocently. They froze, not knowing what to say. Diavolo and Lucifer smiled.

"No. We haven't." Diavolo answered. They smiled bitterly, knowing that it was for the best. You nodded even thought you're not convinced.

They lost you twice, but universe decided to give you back to them. They were not ruining it again. Never again.

Bonus :

The witch was kneeling on the floor, both of her hands were chained up. The 7 Rulers of Hell were standing still in front of her.

Lucifer had his whip out, ready to strike.He walked closer to her, Shoes clanking againts the floor while his brothers held the same expressions. Wrath.

Lucifer crouched down and grabbed her face, she screamed, grunt, and protested, Lucifer slapper her across the face ,"Stay still." She stopped protesting.

Lucifer scanned her face.

"What connection do you have with her. Why did you kill her?!" His grip tightened with every words.

The witch smirked, "she deserved it." Her eyes widen,"she killed my baby, she has to die,"

The brothers blood boiled even more ,

"Your baby?" Satan asked. Voice dripping with hate. "So you do have a connection with Ayla huh" he chuckled crouching down beside his big brother.

"Your "baby" ruined everything," he pushed the witch's head. "She could've live if she didn't hurt ours," he slapped her.

She turned her head back, her eyes glowed red. "HOW IS IT HER FAULT?! YOU TOOK HER IN! YOU TREATED HER LIKE A QUEEN! YOU PRAISED HER!YOU LOVE HER!" Lucifer whipped her once. She groan in pain.

"Her mother is a demon and a witch, who knew if you put a curse on us to be helplessly in love with her." Asmodeus spat out.

Mammon laughed, it wasn't his usual laugh, it was mocking, it was sickening. "Ya damn witch, ya had the guts to appear and killed Mc, did you think you would get away easily?" He asked.

The witch laughed like a maniac. Leviathan eye twitch in anger. His tail was slowly raising. "You dare laugh? You know there will be no more future for you. This is the end." He said.

The witch glared, "I Didn't kill her. You did. It's your fault she's dead. If only you love her more than my baby, She wouldn't have to leave, she wouldn't have to die.MY BABY DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE! SHE WAS INNOCENT !! YOU DEMONS DESERVE TO DIE, NOT HER!!" She screamed.

"Move lucifer," Belphegor said before striking the witch straight in the heart, she gasped and watched her blood flowed down.

"C'mon now, that was just a little. You won't die by that will you?". Belphegor mocked. Beel walked up, grabbed her face, tilted it up and poured a healing potion. In moments, her wound healed.

She laughed ,"healing me? What a fo-" she barely managed to talk when Satan stabbed her in the neck. Retracted the knife and stabbed her again.

Her blood poured out like a fountain and got over Satan but he couldn't care less. The pain of falling from the abyss is way worse. He didn't know how bad but he knew it was worse.

She went limp.

Beel opened yet another bottle of potion, forced her to drink it. She recovered but her wound was still there.

"Anything else you wanna say you fucking bitch?" Leviathan asked.

"I WILL NEVER DIE!" She screamed.

"Suffer then." Levi said before his tail went down her throat, forming a bunch of thorn, he whipped his tail back out, scratching every inch of her throat. Blood poured out of her mouth.

"I gotta admit though, you have such pretty eyes for someone so twisted," Asmo said crouching down prettily in front of her. "The twisted one here is you, " the witch managed to said, voice hoarse, more blood poured out.

"Aww thank you! I'm a demon after all aren't I?" Asmo mocked her, flapping his eyelashes.

His smile dropped. "I want your eyes," And so he did. Driving his sharp nail into her eyes, pulling them out, the witch screamed in agony, her eyes were hanging down. Lucifer chuckled and pat Asmo's hair while Asmo was poking at the eyes that were hanging out, drenched in blood.

"They're not pretty anymore, ew" he said looking up at Lucifer, Lucifer raised his eyebrows,

"Put them back then" Lucifer said.

Asmo grinned poking the eyes with his index and middle finger's nail. Pushed them back into her eye socket.

Blood streamed down her face as she screamed.

"Fucking hell shut up old woman," Mammon said before ripping her lips away with his hand.

"Oops didn't mean to do that,"

"Idiot Mammon," levi said.

"Hey!At least she's quiet now," mammon defended himself.

"Yeah? You took her lips Mammon, she can still talk," Satan said, unamused.

"Then you do it!" He said throwing the skin away. He heard a growl from behind. He turned around, jhmling a little. Rubbing his chest to calm down.

"Hey Lucifer, what's your dog doing here," he said slightly scared.

Lucifer turned, "oh leave them, They're waiting for dinner," he smirked. Mammon nodded, picked back the piece of skin he threw away and threw it to Cerberus watching The beast fought to get it. He grimaced when he saw them swallowed it.

"Where is it? Hmmm, ah here!" Satan said before ripping out her vocal cords.

Blood came down as she felt limp again.

"Aww Satan! You killed her!!" Asmo whined.

"Whoops," Satan said before catching a potion from Beel. Satan poured it in the huge gaping hole that he snatched out.

The witch gasped, her eyes were no longer fucntioning, she can't speak anymore.

Suddenly, a purple smoke rose from her back, she was angry, as expected from a witch, magic exjmists within her,she doesnt need to speak or move.

Lucifer clapped his hands, "outstanding! Your will to live is Amazing!" He pushed his brothers aside, knowing it was gonna get messy.

He whipped the witch back and forth, slicing her flesh open. The smoke fought back, grabbing the wjip a few times, throwing Lucifer back, but he just laughed. Beel turn the wheel on the chain, which turned her from kneeling to standing up. Hanging, more spesifically.

Lucifer smiled and thanked Beel.

"Just let me have a moment with her later," Beelzebub said. Lucifer nodded.

Raising his whip again,

"We both know it was our fault they died. We loved Ayla. No more than we Love Mc. She may not deserve death but Mc dont deserve it either. ", He whipped her right at her neck causing it to break and her head was turning around.

"Whoo brother, be gentle" Belphie said.

Lucifer chuckled,"gentle? You wouldn't say that if you've been deeper in hell, Belphie, this doesn't even compare" He gritted teeth, pulled down his tie and whipped her over and over, breaking her bones in every places he could imagine. The smoke was slowly dispersing away .

He threw his whip to Cerberus, who caught it easily.

"Go ahead," he said.

His brothers grinned as their eyes glowed, for once, the let their demon side completely take over. They charged and started torturing the life out of her, she could only feel the pain as she was brought back to life over and over again.

Beel took out a knife and started shedding her, skin and flesh and throwing them towards cerberus.Lucifer had to hold Cerberus down as they were too excited.

It went on for hours, they lost track of the time, blinded by rage. They cried, screamed, letting out their frustration that were bottled up out. They were drenched in blood by the end of it.

She was no more than bones now, half of her flesh was gone, her eyeballs were hanging out, blood was pouring down like rain.

The brother panted, exhausted. Not satisfied but they knew this was the end. She was no longer moving, no potion could revive her, no spells can summon her. If only. If only you were a demon, they could bring you back to life.

"Let's go." Lucifer annouced running his hand through his hair, dragging his whip on the floor.

The brothers chuckled and laughed at the state of themselves. A mess. A maniac. A True Demon.

They were drenched in blood, sweat and tears, holding each other by the shoulder and walking out from the torture room. Their heart was full yet empty at the same time.

Lucifer turned back, releasing Cerberus from their leash.

"Have a nice meal," he said and closed the door. When he turned back he saw his brothers not moving, like they spotted Henry 1.0.

"What is it now?" He frowned and walked forward. He stopped in his tracks.

It was you,

"Mc? What are you doing down here?", He asked, how the heck did you come here. No one knew where the torture room was. It was strongly closed by magic. Just how-

Belphegor laughed, "you- you always find a way didn't you?" He wiped away some tears thaf formed in the corner of his eyes. The others followed, laughing as they find it very ironic. You would always end up in the wrong place in the wrong time since before too.

"I-I don't know! I swear. I'm so sorry! But what happened to you guys!! Why are you covered in blood!" You said eyes full of worry and grabbing their face one by one looking for injuries.

Their laughter died down slowly when they saw you, worriedly looking for injuries and wiping some of the blood off their faces with your little napkin. Their eyes filled with tears yet again.

"We're okay Mc, don't worry," Beelzebub spoke when you were wiping his forehead with your sleeve now that your napkin was filled with blood.

"How can I not?! You're covered in blood! All of you, come with me, No excuses." You started to walked forward. But then you stop. Turning back to them, you scratched your head.

"How do we get out of here?" You asked slowly,Mammon burst out laughing,

"Ya idiot," Mammon said. The others laughing and even Lucifer was having a hard time concealing his laugh.

You huffed, "fine forget it! I'll get out myself!" You said walking to the left, confidently.

"Turn right Mc, you're going to Cerberus den that way," Lucifer said between laughs. You glared at them and walked away stomping your feet.

Yeah, you don't need to remember, they can make new memories.

That's enough.

Lucifer could smell his wings burning, his eyes stinging from the dust that were flying up. Black smoke arise from his wings, His strength going away by the second. His throat felt itchy, he was struggling to breathe, struggling to see, he was reaching into an abyss where nothing is clear.

He pushed himself to shout your name again and again, losing his voice slowly. He wasn't sure wether the tears that ran down his face was water or blood. He didn't care. All he wanted now is you. He needed to save you.

Gritting his teeth, he took a huge breath before zooming down full speed, using up every last energy he had. He swatted away the hands that appeared out of thin air tamhat were trying to hold him down.

The fire was getting hotter, it was blue and black, the hottest any human can imagine. His nose and eyes were burning. His face felt like it was melting off.

But this is for you. For you. He never wanted to regret things like he did back then. He swore to save you, and he will.

"Hold her down!," Satan blinked slowly as he heard Lord Diavolo's voice and felt gushes of air around him.

He opened his eyes and saw that he was laying on Leviathan's lap and he was taking out leaves out of his hair, eyes red and puffy.

"Levi?" He called out, startling his brother.

"Satan!, how are you feeling?" He asked urgently.

"Sore, But I'm fine, where's the others?" He asked.

Leviathan dropped his gaze down to the ground, picking at his fingers.

Satan frowned and looked around.His eyes widen at the scene. His brothers were unconcious and being wrapped up to be moved safely to get the treatment they needed.

Satan raised his hand and pat Leviathan's head, "You're okay right?"

He nodded," I'm fine, but they....."

Satan pushed himself up slowly, "hey, don't worry, they'll be fine, they'll be fine.". He assured Levi.

He turned to look at them again, suddenly he noticed, Lucifer was nowhere to be found.

"Levi, where's Lucifer?"

Leviathan exhaled, "I don't know."

Satan frowned, "you don't know? What does that even mean?"

"He could be dead, he could be alive, He could be deep into the earth or up in the sky I don't know where he is." Leviathan explained, hoping Satan would catch on.

Satan blinked and slowly, his frowned eased, he went silent, "you think he'll make it?" He asked hesitantly

Leviathan shrugged.

A few other demons came by them, grabbing them up, and flew away to the hospital. No one knew what to say nor do. Lucifer voluntarily went down the Abyss. Somewhere no one ever wanted to go.

Levi could only stare into space as he remember his older brother's face before he went down.

Lucifer eyes opened and he gasped for air. He coughed and looked down, he was still falling. He realized he passed out for a moment. He looked around, looking for you.

"Mc!!!" He called out with hoarse voice.

You heard someone calling your name, but you couldn't tell who it was, you were so tired, you didn't wanna do anything anymore. You closed your eyes again.

"Mc!!" There it was again, someone calling you. You wanted to shout but you can't, your body was burning up, there were hands holding you down. You tried to pry them off but you werd to weak. Your ears were ringing, you could feel blood dripping from them and you swore your nose was bleeding too.

Lucifer was getting exhausted. Very exhausted. He was close giving up, when he saw light spackle flew up his eyes widen.

He reached out his hand and caught you. He flapped his wings to stop and examine your face. You were pale, your eye area were red, you were limp.

'Oh.. I know him... who is he again? I don't know, I'm tired.' Your eyes were closing, very slowly,

" Mc no don't close your eyes! I'll get us out, I promise! Please, I'm sorry for being late. Stay with me," Lucifer begged.

You smiled softly, raising your wrak hand, you cupped his cheeks. For some reason you felt the urge to comfort him.

"It's okay, let me go." You whispered, Lucifer shook his head. "Never. Hold on please." He he said, grabbing your hand that were cupping his cheek.

You coughed and could feel some tears ran down, but you knew it wasn't water, it felt too thick to be water. He choked up at your state, biting his lower lip,He continued flying, up this time, hoping he could fight off the force that were pulling you both down.

"Thank you, for saving me" you whispered before your eyes closed and you fell stiff

Few handlike creatures emerged from the dark, trying to pull Lucifer down, Lucifer gritted his teeth and let out a gush of wind and flew even fasted with his heavily injured wings. It was so far. He was so deep down he didn't know how long it's been. He just hoped he was quick enough.

"Stay with me Mc, Please"

Asmodeus sat up on his bed, scrolling through his instagram page, uninterested with everything, liking every post without scanning them.

Levi walked in with a tray of food. He sat down besides Asmo and set the tray down.

"Here, eat up."

Asmo glanced at him, "yeah, thanks Levi" he smiled a little.

"I..I'll go now" Levi annouced and left after getting a nod from Asmodeus.

He could feel his body stung a little but it wasn't as bad. He looked down on the food and felt a tear ran down. He wiped it away quickly, he needed to stay strong. He had to.

Diavolo paced back and forth in the House of Lamentation's Living room. Belphegor was sleeping on the couch, Mammon was sitting on the single couch while Satan was staring at him.

"Can you sit down? You're making me nauseous" Satan said.

Diavolo sighed, "I'm sorry, I'm just worried"

Satan sighed and sat down, "we can't really do anything"

Mammon let out a huff, "It's been three days! We really can't do anything?!" He yelled in protest.

Satan glared at him, "you can go and fetch them I guess. If you wanna die that is."

Mammon rubbed his face in frustration.

"Is Beel and Asmo doing okay?" Diavolo asked.

Satan shrugged, "Beel is still passed out. Asmo is fine, just sore he said. "

Diavolo finally plopped down, sighing,

Mammon hesitates to ask a question, but he asked anyways, "the witch?",

Diavolo's face turned cold, " Barbatos got her. We'll see what she'll face later. She doesn't matter yet "

Suddenly there were two demons rushing in, "Lord Diavolo, we received a message, There were movements and sounds coming from the forest"

Diavolo shot up and rushed outside. Satan and Mammon following close after waking Belphegor, asking him to rest in his room.

They flew back into the forest, not knowing what to expect. Their blood were rushing cold, hearts were beating louder than ever.

Suddenly, Diavolo raised his hands, motioning to stop.They scanned around and saw a figure that was walking very slowly, almost corpse like. He was walking so slowly and weakly. Even a gust of wind would tip him over. Satan eyes widen when he realized who it was.

"Lucifer!" He flew down and stopped behind him. The others landed a few moments after him. Inhaling shortly, He walked up to him slowly.

"Lucifer?" He called making The man stopped in his track.

He turned around slowly. Satan almost gag at his state. He was so pale and he looked like nothing but skin and bones.

Lucifer looked down to a figure in his arms. He stumbled a little,

Satan rushed forward to let some weight off him. His eyes filled with tears immediately. He carefully took tge body from Lucifer, tears streaming down when he felt how light it was.

No, please. No

"Satan... is that.." Mammon asked slowly.

Satan kneeled down and set the body down. Lucifer dropped down to the ground. His strenght completely left him. He leaned forward and placed his head on the body. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, Mc." He whispered.

Mammon dropped to his knees, he took in your features, your closed eyes, nose, and lips. It was you. In front of him again. His dream came true, he got to see you again, but not this way.

Diavolo stepped forward and examined your body, looking for any signs of life.He looked for your pulse like he read in that one human book. He touched your wrist, your neck, even check your breathing until he felt a soft hand stop him.

"Stop Diavolo, there's no use." Lucifer whispered, tears falling down his haggard face.

" I didn't save her. I couldn't. Again. I lost her again" Lucifer said between sobs. Satan fisted your clothes and bury his face in them, sobbing softly.

"When I asked you to come back, it wasn't supposed to be like this idiot." He whispered and cried out.

Mammon was speechless. He grazed you face with his fingertips. He looked at Diavolo, "she died in Devildom... what's gonna happen to her?"

Diavolo sighed, "that is your father's job to decide, she's a human afterall"

Diavolo pat Satan's and Mammon's shoulders, "Go help your brother, let's bring them back" They nodded and went to Lucifer, Grabbing his arms, and lead him slowly.

They were thinking of what to say to the rest of them. How should they break the news. How do they comfort them again? How did they do it before?

Once they arrive at House of Lamentation, They brought Lucifer up to his room while Diavolo brought you back to the castle.

Satan called a doctor while Mammon got rid of his brother's clothes. He grimaced at the wounds he saw. Satan gave him a warm cloth to wipe away some of the dried up blood on Lucifer's body. All of the sudden, the door opened. Revealing their brothers. Asmo was on Beel's back, Belphegor and Leviathan was standing besides them. Mammon threw Satan a look, Satan looked dwon and continued what he was doing.

Beel walked inside slowly and sat Asmo down beside Lucifer. Asmo poked his brother's cheeks, and ran his finger across his forehead. Grimacing at the pale and boney feeling he got.

No one said a word, they don't need it and they can't say it. Knowing it would cause another breakdown while everyone was trying their hardest to stay strong. But when Belphegor got up and hugged Satan, they couldn't hold their tears anymore. Satan hugged him tightly.Asmo raked his hand through Lucifer's hair, sobbing silently.

Beel hang his head low, he never wanted you to leave, but if it was meant for your safety he would let you go, He regretted not saving you again. He hated himself for not knowing what was happening.

Levi kneel besides the bed, burying his head into the mattress, "I, I asked him to go after her.., I shouldn't have right? We almost lost him too," he whispered to his brothers. Their breath caught in their throat when Levi said 'too'.

Sniffling, Mammon ruffled his hair, "Lucifer doesn't listen to us idiot. He decided to go down himself. He's here now, don't dwell on it."

The room fell into another silence. Their life was a mess yet again.

What's next?

Diavolo set your body down on the bed softly. Barbatos standing by the door.

"Can you call Solomon for me Barbatos?" Diavolo asked, receiving a nod from the butler. Diavolo sat down beside you and carress you cheek.

"If only I didn't pursue you after all this years, maybe you would still be here, maybe she wouldn't find you." He whispered, leaning down, he landed a peck on your forehead.

"Rest now, you deserved it." He said before getting up and leaving the room. He couldn't handle it, his precious student laying stiff in front of him. He was tired, he was regretting everything.

Solomon dashed to him once he saw him.

"Where is she?", he asked breathlessly.

Diavolo turned his head towards the room, Solomon rushed inside and stopped in his track. He had imagined you sitting on the bed, whining about the pain, flirting with Barbatos while he cleaned and dress your wounds.

But what he got was an unconcious you, You that will never move or smile again. You that won't be able to smack him for his stupid antics, you who will never be able to hug him back when he does. You were gone. He blamed himself for it.

His last moments were him arguing with you, you leaving him. His tears fell as he took small steps towards the bed, he dropped down besides it,

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I should've stayed with you I should've protected you," he said, sobbing into his hands.

You can no longer wipe his tears away, you won't hold him like you used to anymore. He almost gave into his intrusive thought to curse you and make you his puppet for life. But he knew you don't deserve that. All your life, you've only suffered. Maybe it's best to let you go. Maybe it's time for you to rest.

"Apologies Solomon, May I ask you to wait with Young Master while I...change and clean her? Or would you like to stay ?" Barbatos soft voice talked from the door.

Solomon got up on shaky legs, shaking his head, "I won't be much help is I stay. " He leaned down and kissed your forehead, long and deep. He pulled back and carress your face, "Goodbye,Mc."

He wiped his face and turned around, walking out. Leaving Barbatos with you. Barbatos sat down beside you, looking down on his hands, he turned his head to look at you and realized how pretty you still were.

He smiled and grabbed your hands, "If only I could turn back time and stopped you from falling down. It was too late and I was too foolish. I'm sorry, Mc. Neither of us manage to make you happy after all." He lifted your hands and kissed both of it. He got up and walked to the bathroom, taking a deep breath before he started cleaning you up.

His vision blurred as he clean your wounds, he fought back the urge to dress them. Hoping you would wake up. But he knew that wasn't necessary. Blood wasn't running in your body anymore, your heart wasn't pumping, your brain didn't tell your body to heal the wound any longer.

He slid on a beautiful white dress on you. It fell just above your ankle, he combed your hair down properly. It took longer than he expected. Maybe it was because he was crying through it all. Maybe it was because he didn't know what to do.

He picked out the white lilies from the vase, put it in your hands. He smiled.

"Still as beautiful as ever," he leaned down and peck your forehead quickly.

He walked out,sleeves and his pants still rolled up.face a mess and went to the living room where Diavoli was talking on the phone with Solomon staring into space.

"It's done, Young Master." He said. Diavolo nodded and told him to rest for the rest of the day.

Diavolo sat down and sighed.

"Do you want me to take her back up Human realm?" Solomon asked.

Diavoli shook his head,"I called someone, she passed away in Devildom, in the abyss, somewhere no human was allowed, only souls. So,it's gonna be harder to settle it. Even her soul was still anywhere now. They'll be a great help." Diavoli explained.

Solomon nodded, "when are they coming?"

"Tomorrow I suppose,",

Solomon went quiet."What about Lucifer?" He asked,

Diavolo shrugged,"He'll be fine, He's Lucifer. Anyways, we have to tell them to come and see her. "

Solomon nodded, "I'll go. Asmo can't even walked straight yet.and I doubt Lucifer's awake. " Diavolo chuckled dryly and watched Solomon disappeared.

The brothers came in without any sounds, no bickering, no shouting, no cussing each other out. It was unusual. Though they had a smile on their faces when they Greeted Diavolo, their eyes didn't shine.

They circled the bed. There you were, laying on it. Looking all pretty.

"Man, she so pretty," Mammon mumbled.

"You said that out loud you know" levi pointed out.

"Oh shut up!" Mammon argued.

Asmo couldn't handle it any longer, he sat down beside you and hugged you softly, "how is it that you're still beautiful even now? That's unfair mc!"

"Hey now don't squeeze her too hard. Her wounds is still open you know," Belphegor said. They sat down around you, Looking at you with sadness in their eyes. But no tears were falling, seems like they've run out of tears to cry. They were exhausted but insisted on coming. Lucifer was still unconcious but they figured he's be fine. He had his last moments with you.

"Is it...our fault again?" Beel asked.

Satan ruffled his hair," No, it's not. If anything we have that witch to blame. She started this."

Their anger spiked when Satan mentioned the witch, "I'm gonna kill her" Levi said.

"Yeah...let's wait for Lucifer and do what we want,",Satan replied, "I bet Lucifer would say anything."

They spent a few hours just bickering and talking like you were still there, listening. They didn't mind. They were ready to accept it. Just like how you left them the first time, they will accept it this time.

Knowing they do have a chance to see you again. If your soul wanted to.

Mammon looked at his watch, "we gotta go, Lucifer might be dead." Which caused them to chuckle but none of them move. They didn't wanna leave. But they have to.

"Ah! Move! You slowpokes" mammon whined and leaned down, kissing your cheek.

"Hey! Not fair!! I wanna do that first!" Asmo whined and slapping Mammon's shoulder.

Mammon winced and rubbed his shoulder,"Do it then! I'm waiting outside." He walked out.

One by one, the siblings left you a peck all over your faces, holding them longer, refusing to accept that you didn't move to stop or let out a giggle like used to.

Beel was the last to stay. Belphegor pat his shoulder, knowing it was harder for him.

"take your time. I'll wait for you "

Beel smiled and watched him leave and closed the door. Beel sat down beside you, laid his head on your shoulder and sobbed. Soon his face were flooded with tears.

"I wasn't there again. Again. I wasn't there to protect you. I hate being slow. I hate it. Come back to me please, I still need you, I want you to cook for me again. I love you , I'm sorry I couldn't do anything. I'm sorry I didn't know. Please forgive me for being dumb. " he whispered through sobs. He caressed your face and landed a kiss on your forehead, "you're always beautiful, We'll see each other again right? ", he gave you one last look before wiping his face and getting up with shaky legs.walling towards the door. He opened it and saw his brother waiting for him.

It was like a wind that flew by them. They all froze, turning their head to look at you one last time. They smiled painfully. Holding in the tears that csme back, they walked away

You were gone.

{A/n: this was supposed to be the climax but it feels kinda meh and short, so I apologize. And I apologize for the late update, there's so much goung on in my life I could barely keep up. I promise the next one won't take this long}

Lucifer could feel his blood run cold. His horns slowly started to appear. His eyes glow red, the brothers slowly started to fume in anger.

Diavolo looked at Lucifer, "calm down, we'll see what Solomon says"

Solomon burst towards the door, clothes burnt but he looked fine. "Abyss. Mc. Witch" was all it took for the brothers to dashed out the door flying in their demon form.

Barbatos grabbed his head, "ugh" Diavolo looked at him.

"Is there any way we can turn back time?"

Barbatos looked at him, "you know the answer Young Master. Once you fell into the abyss, there is no going back."

Diavolo rubbed his face in frustration, "get some rest, I'll be back. You too Solomon, you don't look good,"

Diavolo unleashed his form and flew towards the brothers. Demons in the Devildom were in awe though a tad bit confused as what was happening, the seven brothers and their Next King is flying hurriedly.

Lucifer could feel his heart beating faster than he ever felt. It's even worse than when you went into rampage years ago. He was only focusing on flying when he heard a quiet sniffle, he turned to the side and saw his brothers' desperate faces, tears running down Asmodeus flawless face,Mammon forehead was creasing, Satan was fuming, Leviathan was quiet for once, Beelzebub was angry, Beel never get angry, Belphegor looked just like he did when the war happened

That's when he knew, he need to save you no matter what. he wasn't the only one who needed you. They needed you. They've lost you once,they're not losing you again. He won't allow it.

The way to the abyss was filled with thick forest,lakes after lakes,mountains after mountain. It was so far.

The air slowly became thicker, hotter. Suffocating, Leviathan eventually fell down and started gasping, coughing. He took a moment before gathering the strength to fly again. Mammon waited for him and grabbed his arms to support him flying stabily

Suddenly, a ball of fire flew straight towards them.

"Lucifer!" Satan screamed before lauching at him, both of them tumbling down.

They coughed and groaned at the pain they felt while falling down. "What is it" Lucifer asked, his anger doubling.

"The witch is here " Satan whispered.

His brothers managed to dodge every spell thrown towards them. Lucifer dashed to Satan and grabbed him up, flying straight up to the dark sky of Devildom, avoiding the trees of the Dark Forest, allowing him more space to scan for the witch.

Suddenly, he heard Asmodeus screaming, Satan launched towards the sound and found Asmodeus by the tree, wings burnt. Satan picked him up and flew away. Lucifer saw burnt patches on Satan wings and frowned. He won't last any longer.

"You are not getting away!" Satan screamed.

"Stop bein' a coward would ya?! Come out!" Mammon shouted from the top of the tree, Belphegor dropped down gently on the forest floor.

Walking slowly, "He said, COME OUT!" Belphegor launched a spell, breaking a tree right in front of him off. That's when everyone saw the witch.

They surround her. "Careful Belphie" Beel warned as the witch was now disappearing and reappearing in random places.

It was awfully quiet, they were waiting, waiting for the right time to strike. Watching her every move. She wasn't too fast for their eyes but surely was fast for them to attack.

"Lucifer! GO!" Diavolo shouted as he knocked the witch away from stabbing Lucifer from the back.

The witch screamed, making the brothers fell to their knees. It was so high pitched it could bleed their ears. Their focus was way off as they were approaching the Abyss.

The witch stabbed Diavolo in the arm and broke free from, flying away to the abyss. Diavolo caught her again and grabbed her arms, stopping her from moving. She smirked and laugh. Diavolo gasped whwn he felt a stab straight through his abck to his chest. He turned and saw a clone of the witch. Diavolo fell down. Blood trickling down.

She turned and flew straight towards Lucifer, mouth restless as she cast spells after spells to prevent the brothers from reaching it.

"Get out of my way!"Lucifer grabbed the witch by the throat. Lifted her in the air and his eyes glowed as his arm shook

That's when he took a good look at the witch.

It felt oddly familiar. This creature felt familiar. Too familiar. It was making Him gag. He threw the witch down.

Out of the blue, there were flocks of Crows attacking him, biting his arms, horns, face, he swatted them away, the crows started pecking on his eyes, nose, another flock came and started throwing stones and tree branches, their launches were very calculated almost as if they have the ability to plan. he eventually lost his balance when they plucked his wings one after another. The pain was unimaginable, it burns and itches

Lucifer screamed in pain and fell down with a loud thud. The little insects started biting their way onto his skin, sucking his blood, he was too weak to move or swat them away. He could hear his brothers fighting, he opened his eyes slowly and saw Beel breaking Cerberus neck restlessly.

It was chaos. The forest was burning, blood were shed yet again. It was happening again. And he failed to stop it again. He failed to stop you again. He closed his eyes,

"WAKE UP LUCIFER!" Leviathan shouted shaking his body, he could hear him, but he was so exhausted.

"Asmo behind you!" Mammon shouted when he saw a gust of wind, too strong to be nature's doing aiming at his brother. Mammon grabbed Asmo and toom the hit. Both of them were thrown away and hit a tree. They laid there lifelessly.

Belphegor was capturing wolves and beasts that were thrown towards them. Slashing their heads off, He was slowly losing his strength. Satan eventually had to pull Belphegor away as his ears and nose started to bleed. Beelzebub was on the ground, exhausted. Throwing the corpses as his only way of keeping them away from him.

"Lucifer please..." Leviathan cried out, "I can't fly anymore, Beel is gonna get eaten, If anyone could save her it's you, so please. " he sobs as he saw Beel ran out of corpses to throw.

"Let's not lose her again,Lucifer. I'm begging you." Leviathan said before running and dragging Beel that is twice as heavy as him away as best as he could.

We already lost her. She was never ours. She doesn't belong here. Lucifer wanted to shout back but he bit his tongue. He laid there.

He didn't know why but he suddenly remember his letter that you left for him. He smiled softly.

Thank you for always keeping me safe,I love you

That's when he found a sudden burst of strength. Lucifer opened his eyes. Pushes himself up and tried to work his wings. It burns, it stings. But it's working.

He hadn't lose you. He knew where you are. He was not losing you, he had to return you back. Even if it killed him.

He took a shaky breath before running as fast as he can. He ran and ran and ran until his skin burns.

That's how he knew he made it. He looked down into the Abyss. It was dark. But not empty. The darkness is from the flames being too hot it was black.

Closing his eyes and remembering your smiling face,

he jumped down.

He screamed when he felt his body burns.

"Mc!!!" He called out, hoping you'd hear him.

All eyes stared at the person standing by the door. Clothes burnt, blood stained face, hair messy, sweat dripping down their face, Hands shaking.

Diavolo took a step towards the entrance, grabbed their shoulders. Staring straight into their eyes.

"What in the world happen to you, Barbatos!?" He yelled. Barbatos kept quiet. Looking around, He saw everyone's pale faces staring at him.

He grabbed Diavolo's hands, peeled them away from him,

"Please excuse me while I clean myself up Young Master." He whispered and walked away. Leaving everyone speechless.

How could they not be? That was the Demon King's butler. His strength was greater and the same level as the brothers. He could stop the brothers physical fights that involved magic as he was strong enough. To hurt him must've been a huge challenge, last time someone tried to hurt him, they ended the fight in 5 minutes.

Seeing his beaten state caused everyone to worry, who was arrogant enough to go to such lengths? How long were they fighting to cause that much damage to him?

"You said he was in the human realm?"Lucifer asked Diavolo.

Diavolo hesitated,"...he should be, I saw him left with my own eyes..."

The second Barbatos got back to the dining hall. He sat himself down on of the chair, exhausted. Diavolo walked towards him, crouching in front of him.

"What happened? I thought you were gonna stay there for two more days?" He asked.

Barbatos frowned, "two more days? In there? Were you aware of how hard it was climbing back up? "

Diavolo frown deepened, "Coming back here shouldn't be a problem is it? You have my permission and even if you don't you can easily open a portal..."

Barbatos was stunned, he looked at everyone around him. Confused.

"Young master....where did you think I was?"

Diavolo tilted his head," you were at the Human Realm were you not?"

Barbatos paled.

[Human Realm]

"How long are you gonna be pissed." You asked .

Barbatos sighed," how long are you gonna put off going back there? " and put down his book.

"I have a week right? Let me do the things I wanna do first before I die."

Barbatos rolled his eyes, "You'll be dead before you finish them. "

You turned the channel, pressing the buttons way to harshly,gritting your teeth,"well at least it's nice to know when I'll die."

He raised an eyebrow,"well, don't blame me if your soul goes into a rage,"

He smirked."I'll be right here, waiting for you"

"What do you mean?" Barbatos asked.

"You went to convince Mc to come back here, I saw you left" Diavolo pressed,

The brothers froze upon hearing that, their faces fell when they heard your name. Your name was like a taboo, something that shouldn't be said, something that should only be kept to themselves.

Barbatos grabbed his head, "I wasn't in the human realm..." and closed his eyes.

"Where were you?" Lucifer asked, his voice stern.

"The Abyss".

Silence filled the air. The Abyss. The one place that every Devildom citizen would hate to go. Just the thought of it made them sick. It was the heaviest punishment in the Devildom. The hellish Hell. The second Hell. The Satan's Abyss.

It was filled to the brim with unsettled souls, criminals, poisons, deadly ashes, pitch black fire, you couldn't even walk straight if you try. No one. No one would ever, go there on their own.

So why was Barbatos there?

"H-how?" Diavolo asked.

"I don't know, I can't remember" He said,staring straight at Diavolo, letting him see the sincerity in his eyes. Diavolo threw Solomon a look, Solomon ran outside immediately.

You took a deep breath, walking behind Barbatos as he lead the way, he decided to open the portal back to Devildom somewhere far so suspicions wouldn't rise. You couldn't help but to feel a bit scared.

Your breath were starting to get ragged, anxiety was rising as you took one step after the other. Your intuitions kept telling you to turn back. But you couldn't help but felt scared that you won't see them again if you die.

'This feels wrong'

Barbatos was quiet the entire time. The steps he took were heavy, almost calculated. You could feel goosebumps all over you, your head started to hurt, you could not bear to take another step,

"Wait." You said. Barbatos sighed and turned around."what is it this time?"

"Can we go back? I don't feel well," you said softly, rubbing your right hand over your left elbow.

"We've come too far. So, no." He said,

"Why are you so different now? Did something happened after I left?" You decided to ask.

He walked towards you and grabbed your arm. "Yes. You ruined my life, you ruined everyone's life,"

He pulled you along, you tried to pull back your arm but it was too tight.

"Hey, that hurts!"

"I don't care" he replied. You kept tugging your arm away but he wasn't budging at all.

"Come on, don't waste my time." He said through gritted teeth.

"No! I don't want to!" You shouted but he was way stronger than you, his grip were so tight. You could feel your blood circulation stopping by the seconds

His eyes were glowing, your surrounding started to get darker, you looked around and realized you were no longer on the streets, you were in a forest. Deep inside the forest.

However, the trees were dead and dried, there were no signs of life, not even a bug could be seen. It was dark. It was creepy, It was cold. It was terrifying.

You could feel your body shake, "I wanna go back, please," you whispered, genuinely scared, you felt so weak.

You felt exactly how you felt when you met Ayla . You hated it. But as of this moment, you don't have any power to go against Barbatos. Your pacts with the demons were broken long ago.

He grabbed your shoulders and gripped them. "I said no!" His eyes glow red. His tone was dripping in wrath. Your eyes widen. Your breath stopped.

You could feel the ground shaking, your surrounding started to get hotter. The trees started catching fire, smoke rises, causing your eyes to sting.

You looked down when you felt your feet burning, You saw a huge portal on the forest floor, forming right under your feet. You gasped as Tears welled up in your eyes, You couldn't run, even if you did, you won't make it. You didn't know where you were. You wouldn't know where to go.

"You..you're not Barbatos" you cried out,horrified looking into his red eyes

Barbatos eyes are green.

"Too late" taking his hands off you,

You fell.

You stared at him, shocked. Your breath caught in your throat, you could feel ypur heart beating faster and faster. Looking down at your plate, contemating wheter if it was right for to suspect him this far. You did say you'd follow him once you're dead, and knowing Barbatos, killing humans must be an easy thing.

Nevertheless,you kept your cool and took a deep breath before shrugging and putting down your cutlery.

"So be it then."

Barbatos's eyes widen, "excuse me?"his tone was far from the usual formal tone he always use.

You looked at him, "what? I said so be it. If I'm gonna die then, I'll die. That's it. Every human dies."

Barbatos chuckled dryly, his eyes showing no fondness in them, his forehead creased.

"If you think I'm gonna let you die, You're dead wrong."

"You are not stopping me from dying Barbatos." you said with a straight face.

"No, Mc! You are not gonna die under my watch, I won't let that happen. If you wish to die that badly then you shall die by my hand." He said.and slammed his hand on the table.

You flinched and took a deep breath, "How will I die?"

Barbatos went silent. No words were spoken. You frown. He was just up over your face yelling at you and now he's silent? was it that serious? Is your death that horrible? What was making him this hesitant?

"Barbatos? You've seen how I died....right?" You asked cautiously, he nodded slowly.

"A few times" he whispered, not meeting your eyes.leaning back on his chair.

"Well then tell me, How did I die?" You asked with a stern voice.

He kept quiet,you let out a huge puff of breath, your head started to hurt, closing your eyes, you slammed your hands on the table and stood up.

"Barbatos!"

"I don't know!" He shouted in respond, staring straight into your eyes.

"Huh?" You stared at him, "what do you mean, you don't know?" You leaned forward, "You've seen my death...yet you don't know how?"

He looked away, hand forming a fist,

"Did you poison me?" You asked.

He snapped his head, "Are you crazy? I may not be an angel but I don't go that far."

You sat down. "You went forward in time, saw me die, yet you....never tried to stop it?"

He rolled his eyes, "of course I did! But I can't do it directly, I can't risk messing with time. Again."

"And i still die?" You raised an eyebrow,

"Yes! What is it that's taking you so hard to understand?!"he asked enraged.

"I don't fucking know! Maybe it's because I know I'm gonna fucking die in a few weeks?!" You asked him back, voice shaking, dripping with sarcasm and anxiety.

He tilted his head,"who told you it was a few weeks?"

You paled.

"You have like, a week. Less than a week."

He said, not caring anymore.

You gulped, tears started forming in your eyes,

" you're gonna walk in this dark olace and just fell and die." He continued.

"I can't even see you fucking face, I can't go rewind it or go even further to see what happened afterwards. There. Your death. Might as well start looking for coffin." He ended, got up and walk away.

"That's it? You're just gonna drop that and leave?"

He turned towards you, "weren't you the one who was so damn eager to kick me out yesterday?"

Your mouth opened in disbelief, "Why the fuck are you so rude?"

He shrugged, "there's no damn reason for me to not be rude to you," then he dissapeared into the guest room. Leaving you alone with your thoughts. You try to even out your breath,

Is this it?

Am I really gonna die?

Is he lying so I would follow him back?

What should I do?

Should I just accept it?

You stood up and walked to your room silently.

{Devildom}

Diavolo has decided to held a small buffet to help lighten the brother's mood, even though Barbatos wasn't there, he had a lot of amazing chefs in the castle other than Barbatos.

"Food!"Beelzebub yelled once he saw the food and started sprinting towards it.

"Oi beel! Save some for us wiil ya?!" Mammon shouted while picking up his pace to match Beelzebub.

Satan and lucifer sighed. Lucifer made his way towards Diavolo,

"Thank you for inviting us, Although I am not sure what's the occasion." He said, looking over at his brothers who were taking food onto their plate. Solomon walked up to them and started a conversation with Asmodeus who obviously turn it into flirting.

Diavolo laugh,"It's nothing, It's been a while since we gather. Figured it'd be fine"

Lucifer frown,he sighed,"Diavolo, I know what you're trying. And I wished that you stop."

"What are you talking about?" Diavolo asked,trying to sound innocent.

" Stop bothering her. Let her live her life. Let's listen to her for once and not make her life miserable anymore"

Diavolo sighed and grabbdd Lucifer's shoulder. "You miss her. We all do. We never actually properly apologize to her. If there is someone that could light up you guys again, It's her. "

Lucifer sighed "just, please stop if she asked to stop."

He looked around for a while, "Is Barbatos in the Human realm then?" He asked.

Diavolo nodded,"Yeah, He offered to help, as a last resort. If she said no this time, we'll stop. He should be back in a few days."

"Oh hey Barbatos! You're late! Woah what happened to you?!" Asmodeus said loudly from the table.

Diavolo, Solomon and Lucifer froze.

Their eyes turned towards Asmodeus. Wishing he was mistaken, wishing he was joking.

Their breath stopped once they saw the one standing in the entrance of the castle.

"Why....are you here?"

Solomon took a look at Diavolo, the both of them were watching Barbatos getting ready to leave to Human Realm.

"You think he'll be okay?"Solomon asked Diavolo,

Diavolo sighed while crossing his arms, "hopefully, "

Finishing his preparation, Barbatos picked up his bags and turned to them,

"I can't promise I'll be back in a short time but I'll do my best to bring her," He smiled and took his leave after bidding them goodbye.

Upon arrival, Barbatos inhaled the fresh air of Human Realm and smiled, pulling his cap down a little, he started making his way to Mc's house.

How did he know?

Don't ask. He just do.

You were sweeping the floor of the kitchen after cooking lunch, humming to an unknown song, you didn't even care about your surroundings, letting yourself loose,

Setting the broom and tossing the trash outside, you started hopping into the house, you almost fell when you saw Barbatos on the couch in your living room

"I- WHAT?!" You exclaimed,

Barbatos smiled and waved, "Good to see you too,"

You looked at the door, then at him again, mouth open and closed like a fish gasping for air, you gave up trying to think of any logic regarding the current situation.

"I am not even gonna ask how you know where I live." You spoke. With a sigh, you went and took a seat beside Barbatos.

"so? Is this Diavolo's last attempt to drag me back to Devildom ?" You asked while looking at Barbatos who was still smiling.

"Precisely. But I'm here to just convince you, if you still refused then so be it." Barbatos said.

You sighed again and got up, walking towards the kitchen to get something for Barbatos while the man followed silently,

"I don't what it is about you guys, I clearly said No. What's so hard to understand." You mumbled whole pouring water into a kettle and setting it on the stovetop.

"always forcing people to do stuff they don't want to," you added but quietly this time.

Barbatos giggled, leaning against the counter, across from the island that was seperating both of you

"we are demons you know?" He said teasingly, earning a glare,

You set down a cup and put a teabag in, Pouring in the hot water carefully and set it down with a slam.

"I've said it before and I'll say it again. I will not be going back there, Unless I die and end up in Devildom, I will not go there again,".

With that,you walked towards your room, "the guest room is on the left. Spend the night but You're going back tomorrow. Alone. You hear me?" A slam accompanied the demand making Barbatos shook his head while drinking the tea.

"ooh this is actually good," he said.

[Devildom]

"Lucifer!!!" Leviathan screamed while running towards him,

"what is it?" Lucifer asked with a frown. There was never a dull moment with them.

"Mammon sold my games again!" He whined while pointing at Mammon that was running to his room.

Lucifer sighed, took out his credit card and gave it to Leviathan,"go buy a new one,"

Leviathan took it and run away while yelling something that sounded like "jokes on you Mammon I got his credit card!"

Lucifer was about to get up when Satan burst into the room,

"What's wrong with you now?" Lucifer asked.

"The books are everywhere! I tried arranging them but they just came falling down!!"

Pinching the bridge of his nose, he exhaled," Get Mc to-" he froze when he realized what he just say, and he could see Satan frown smoothing out and his face turned blank.

"Sorry, just- Just go back to your room, I'll ask Asmo to help you," Lucifer said, not looking Satan's way, Satan nodded hesitantly and walked out,not without one last glance at his brother.

Lucifer threw his head back on the chair,

"Were things always this hard?" He wondered. His mind replayed those moments when you were there, when you were the one telling him it's okay, telling him you're happy to help if it means he would get less headache.

He shook his head, getting up and decided to get some fresh air.

[Human Realm]

"Good Morning Mc,", Barbatos called out while flipping a pancake, making you who were walking while yawning and wiping your hair dry with a towel jolted in surprise,

"oh my fucking god, I totally forgot You're here," you said with a hand rubbing your heart, you sat down on the chair in front of the counter,

"Didn't I tell you to leave?" You said while poking at the pancake and eating it, your ego hurts to admit it but Barbatos handmade cooking was so good.

"well I haven't got some time off in a while, I figured I could get you to show me around today, is that too much?" He asked while sipping on his coffee,

You slowed down your chewing, raising an eyebrow, "what are you scheming?"

He shrugged, walking towards the sink, "I came here to bring you back didn't I?"

You scoffed, "How blunt,"

He smirked,"is that a No ?"

"I never said that,now give me those syrups before I change my mind,"

Barbatos threw you the bottle and laughed a little, going back to the guest room and changing his clothes.

"Oh wow what is this?" He asked dragging you inside a bakery, of course. He pointed to the coloured loaf of bread,

"Bread?" You answered confusedly, wondering if he was joking, but the look in his eyes told you that he was,in fact, very curious about a loaf of bread.

"Why is colourful though?" He whispered slowly,

You shrugged,"food colouring?"

"What for?" He asked with a frown, "does it give it a specific taste?"

"Nah, probably to catch some attention, " you said.

He chuckled,"it's working then. " You smiled,"I can see that"

The day went on and on with you getting dragged everywhere he found interesting, which mostly were cafes, bakeries, ancient shops.

It's safe to say you both had a very enjoyable day roaming around and buying useless stuff in the city.

You sat on the edge of the fountain while scooping some ice cream you bought into your mouth, watching Barbatos playing with some kids. Giving ghem high-fives and showing them magic trick

Barbatos walked back to you

"they're cute aren't they?"

You nodded, "they're kids, of course they are,"

Barbatos stared you eating ice cream, "you...are eating well now.."

You turned to him and chuckled dryly while licking the spoon "yeah i guess? When you're alone there's nothing to be insecure about is there?"

He smiled, "that's good then"

"Still gonna regret it affer this though, that's one thing that won't change" you said silently. Barbatos just pat your head.

Barbatos threw his head back, staring at the orange sky. You just looked at him, suspicion rising.

"So, can we be honest to each other now?" You asked.

Barbatos turned to you,"I was honest since the beginning though?"

You glared at him,"yeah sure, showing up in my house just like that, wanting to bring me back and shit, You wouldn't go that far, i know you, Barbatos,"

He smiled and pinched your nose,"You're sharp, I always liked that about you,"

You sighed" tell me"

Barbatos shook his head, "let's get you home first," he got up and pulled you along, holding your hand tightly as he walked back toward your house as if it was his own.

He sat you down on the couch and headed to the kitchen, "Dinner first! Go change! "

You sighed, there's no way you were digging it out of him that easily. He's the Demon Lord's butler after all.

You changed into a comfortable clothes and head down to see him plating the food he made, he changed as well.

Sitting down, both of you stayed silent for once. Your suspicion and anxiety were rising, Barbatos wasn't one to talk a lot but he wouldn't just stayed quiet when it's just both of you.

You set down your spoon.

"okay this is getting uncomfortable. Just say it Barbatos,"you said.

He looked at you.

"what...did you say to me yesterday? About going back to the Devildom?"

You blinked,"I will not go back there?"

"unless?" He added

"I die and fell to hell?" You frowned.

He nodded. "That's it"

"what?"

Barbatos looked at you dead in the eye,

"you're gonna die, Mc"

Three years. It's been three years since you left the hell. Literally. You were sitting by the glass window in a cafe, sipping on your new addiction, coffee.

You looked outside and smiled as people walked by. Turning back to the book on the table, the same book you've been reading for the past 3 years. You know too well how it ends but you always wished you could return to the time where you don't know how it ended.

Entranced by the book, you didn't notice a figure walking up towards you until a shadow cover your book. " penny for your thoughts?" A familiar voice broke you out of your trance,

Lifting your head up, you gasped, standing up in awe, immediately engulfing the owner of the voice in a tight hug.

The man chuckled and hugged you back just as tight.

"I miss you too, but people are watching," He whispered and pat your back.

You chuckled and let go, smiling sheepishly. The man took a seat in front of you, a waitress came and took his order before disappearing to prepare his drink.

"How's life?" Solomon asked,

You sighed, "Same old, It's much more relaxing, you? When did you got back?"

Solomon scoffed, "I've been going back and forth from here to Devildom you know?" He shook his head.

You tilt your head. "What? Why? Is Diavolo bullying you?" You laughed a little.

He laughed, and wave his hand implying that it's a no, "he doesn't, but someone did ditch their tasks, so I gotta make up for it. Not that I mind though," he said with a sly smirk while glaring at you.

"If I could go back I would. You know that. " You said, stirring the almost empty cup in front of you.

"well then what's stopping you?" He asked while frowning, he leaned forward, "No one is gonna harm you anymore, you made sure of that."

You scoffed and looked away,crossing your arms in front of your chest "is this why you came here? To persuade me to go back?"

Solomon raised his hand, surrendering. "No! I came here to see how you were doing, "

Snapping your head back at him, "So you could report to the brothers how I was doing?" Your forehead creased,

He ruffled his hair, "well, no, kinda? ugh!! fine. Yes. Diavolo is concerned too you know, and you even left Luke with just a cake. That boy cried his eyes out when he saw you gone you know?"

You raised your eyebrows,"how long?"

He sighed, "2 years"

"you wasted 2 years to stalk me just to tell the brothers what I ate and What time I go to bed?" You put your elbows on the table, "Listen here Solomon, I told them I can't see them again, so i don't have to see them again. And I will never need to do so. Not anymore. "

Solomon looked at you, "what's the problem? Guilt? Or your pride is too huge for you to go back? Should've thought about that before going on a rampage." He chuckled with a smirk.

You slammed your hands on the table, getting up, "Don't ever show up in front of me again if this is what you're gonna talk about." Gathering your stuff, you stormed out of the café. Solomon sighed. He got up and transferred his drink to-go,paid and left.

Walking to an alley, he leaned against the brickwall, sipping on the coffee, he watched a light gleamed in the corner of his eyes.

"How'd it go?" A voice asked, Solomon took another sip on his coffee and shrugged.

"Stormed out, angry. Probably never gonna see her again,"

Diavolo rubbed his face. "should I go meet her?"

Solomon shook his head, "nah, don't even try. She'll just throw you out."

Diavolo sighed and opened the portal, "Let's just go," Solomon hopped into the portal.

After getting pushed by force of magic, they arrived in the Devildom again.

"Why don't we just let her be? She obviously don't want to come back. And It's understandable don't you think?" Solomon asked as they made their way to the castle

"I would if I could. But Solomon, look at them. They're miserable. They're supposed to be demons. Yet here they are, depressed over her. She ruins them,she can fix them." Diavolo said.

Solomon stopped in his track," She barely even heal herself, you want to bring her back, to heal them? Are we even sure history will not repeat itself?"

Diavolo turned to him "If you put it like that,I think all of them Haven't heal at all. And with her Being away,? worsen it. I think them being together again will heal both of them"

Solomon shook his head,"you can't force them. You can't force her. You'll just make things worse!"

Stepping into the castle, they made a beeline towards the room. Sitting down, Diavolo sighed, yet again. "I'm aware. But Solomon do you really believe time will heal this one?"

Solomon's lips form a thin line. Fiddling with his hand, he couldn't help but to drown in his thoughts. He knew how miserable the brothers were, getting left behind with only a single letter? That's cruel. Lucifer and Beelzebub were the ones who actually looked a little better and took care about everyone.

That didn't mean the others stop being themselves and only laid in bed, doing nothing -except Belphegor of course-,Mammon was still going around scamming witches left and right, Asmodeus was as flirty as he could be, Leviathan was still obsessed with his games and animes, Satan was still the bookworm he was, drowning in books, Belphegor was still the sleepy, lazy demon he was.

But they don't have their aura anymore, their smiles looked like someone cut them out and glued it on them. Who knows what they did in their room after they locked their doors. Probably thinking about what they could've done differently to avoid you hurting, to stop you from leaving.

Lucifer accepted your resolve and decided to let you go. He knew he was wrong, all he wanted was to apologize. He sat on his bed, caressing the picture frame you left him every night, wishing you would at least appear in his dreams. Knowing you probably hate to do that.

Beelzebub made every single recipe you left him, it never taste the same but he's content. At least he knew how to make them in case any if his brothers miss your cooking as well. He thought you would at least stay in contact with him, but when Diavolo said you didn't stay in contact with him, he knew you were 100% determined to never involve yourself with them or him any longer. That saddens him.

"listen, I would love to just drag Mc here, and made them talk, face to face. Smooth things out, but I don't want to bring up any bad memories. She's probably traumatized to even step a foot in here again." Solomon said,slouching onto the soft couch.

Barbatos stepped into the room with a tray, "was it a fail?"

Diavolo nodded with a heavy sigh. Barbatos giggled a little, causing Diavolo and Solomon to frown.

"what's funny about that?" Solomon asked.

Barbatos cleared his throat, "Nothing, It's amusing seeing you both try so hard everyday, " he chuckled.

"how dare you. It's hard you know? Why don't you give it a try?," Solomon said.

Barbatos gave a smile

"If Young Master would let me then I would," He said and turn his gaze towards Diavolo.

Diavolo frowned at him,"Are you sure? You don't have to,"

Barbatos smiled,"Oh I insist Young Master, Let me try,"

Diavolo nodded. "Alright then, you can."

Barbatos nodded,"then Please excuse me to prepare for it. Enjoy your tea, and don't hesitate to call me for anything," he left the room

Solomon turned to Diavolo,"you think he'll be fine?"

Diavolo raised his tea cup to his lips,

"he's Barbatos, He'll be fine, i think"

Solomon shrugged and enjoyed the rest of his evening talking to Diavolo.
