You guys, FFXIV is not dying. These video essays about how "the game is dead" are wrong. Just because you aren't enjoying the current content, does not mean the game is dying. FFXIV is doing fine. It has a set schedule that's been the same since StB (possibly HW) and always has low pop times and high pop times.

This whole "omg the game is dead it's bad abandon ship" trend is stupid.

Google drive link for every concept art from Tales of Asteria that the official account ever posted to Tw/tter. They're interesting and point out little details like Stahn's sleeping cap being a different color than his pajamas for the sake of matching Lilith's ribbon.

Attached pictures are just previews; there's 148 of them. I don't think I can tag every single character, so I settled for game titles. I'm pretty sure I got all of them.

I wasn't sure if there was a convenient spot to view all of them like Rays's concept art does, so I put them together.

There's a Memorial Book for Tales of Asteria that has concept art in it. It may or may not have some that they never posted to Tw/tter. It's a very expensive book though so I can't buy it to find out.

The people have spoken so these three, yes, now three, are gonna have their own au now uwu.

I might do some outfit editing down the line, but here are their designs and names as of rn.

The general idea for Crimson Lily and Starlight Vanilla Swirl is that during the final fight between Dark Enchantress and the Ancients durring the first Dark Flour War, PV fully crumbled, and Dark Enchantress partly crumbled. Both their crumbs ended up in a batch of dough being prepared by the Witch of Shadows in the Witch's Castle. They were baked together in the same batch of cookie and thus are very close since they had gotten away from the Witch together and had been each other's closest friend since day one.

Dark Enchantress still exists, hanging on via the use of artificial body replacements made in the labs and had been extremely slow to recover after she was released from the moonstone. I wanted to keep her as an antagonist because so much of CRK's storyline hinges on her.

PV somewhat exists as a literal specter in the halls of old Vanilla Castle, likely referred to as "The King" in game. He gives Gingerbrave a shard of his souljam after that Vanilla Kingdom lvl and seems to disappear after that.

Shadow Milk was literally cleved in half soul wise when White Lily strengthened the seal on the Silver Tree the first time. One chunk of his soul ended up in a batch of dough in the Witch's Castle that was baked into Blueberry Pierrot Cookie. He's technically a lil bit older than the other two and worked under First Sprinkle Cookie for a while.

Just...this lil trio.

Fun facts about each of them

Crimson Lily

- She's the tallest out of the three at the moment, but Blueberry will eventually grow taller than her.

- She's the defacto leader of their group. Her and Blueberry argue a lot about it.

- Her buns are made of Spider Lilies

- She's vaguely magical girl inspired.

- She's a bit overprotective of Starlight Vanilla.

- She's the fight in the fight or flight.

- She's not very trusting.

Starlight Vanilla Swirl

- He's mostly mute. It's likely a psychological thing or has something to do with the broken Truth Souljam.

- He is very expressive with his body language to get a point across

- Crimson is very versed in interpreting Vanilla, and so is Blueberry.

- He is very quick to want to help other cookies.

- Softer than the other two.

- The clasp on his scarf holds a shard of the Truth Souljam.

- He likes to try and grow plants.

- Not blind but probably needs glasses

Blueberry Pierrot Cookie

- Mischievous little guy. Always one for a good prank.

- Likes to give other cookies nicknames out of affection but also spite if he knows it annoys you. He called Crimson Crimmy for that reason.

- Juggler and aspiring acrobat.

- Jingles when he walks.
