                                                    I DON’T NEED YOUR HELP!!!

     ENCUMBERED BY A war so fierce, so ruinous to a young mind, he sinks deeper and deeper into the maelstrom. the howling winds of voices eating at him drag him under, and he thrusts his remaining strength into the storm just to keep his head above. eyes that once gleamed with natural curiosity and thoughtfulness now glow, marred by an evil flame. 

     STOWING IT AWAY is the only option, the only viable route he can deem as a worthy mask, and yet it only draws the darkness closer and closer to him. with a shoulder turned, he continues down his weary path constantly aware but never willing to accept. the words resonating to a stalemate in his head, slowly but steadily dissolving his fortitude. with each incalculable day that passes, he wakes up in shadow, afraid to leave himself vulnerable to the terrors of the night.

      THE REAL TERROR bearing down upon him is loneliness, insufficiency, doubt. he walks in the same shadow he wakes to, unable to see the hands reaching out to save him. his battle of one of persuasion, convincing himself that he is who he is. he fights against the anguish and perplexity within, only to be consumed by denial and reality.

                    and still he smiles.
