Hmm, so I found 2 chapters of fic from an AU I was working on in my previous fandom (One Piece; the mermaid AU) that I apparently forgot to ever post publicly.

I don't want to mislead folks into thinking I'm active in the fandom again when I'm still very much in SW, but should I post them? Or nah?

Hevy - The Lord of Kamino

Here's the next chapter! It's a chill one, because I think we all need that after the last one (I need it, at least lol!), BUT we see some familiar faces that folks have been asking about for a while!

Also, a new character POV!

This chapter: A normal day in Tipoca City.

“I see you chose the platform where the Prime fought Kote’s jetii,” Hevy snorts. Two-Thousand shrugs as his hands expertly flick over the post-landing cycle. “Eh, thought it’d be fitting, given our recent guest,” he says nonchalantly, but Hevy also hears, he was on my mind, alright? I know he was on yours too. “Fair enough,” Hevy agrees. He must have already sent word ahead, because there’s a welcoming party waiting for them. Or more accurately, a single individual who stands on the walkway, uncaring as relentless winds and rain rage around him. He stands there, as still and serene as a statue of warriors of old, his pale cape and ankle-length kama whipping around him like banners. It’s a fitting image, Hevy thinks, for the protector of Kamino.

Second off, I have a question for your Take Fight Brothers All AU.

How are the clones who have young Jedi Padawans deal with them ? Like- imagine Cal's or Caleb's battalion. Are the clones especially protective of them ? Do the kids get feathers or something ?

Caleb for example seemed very close to his battalion, and they did admire and respect Depa a LOT. Did the poor boy have to deal with overbearing winged clone Dads/Brothers ?

And regarding your Take Flight question, I unfortunately don't really got an answer for you. Because different groups of clones all have different and unique relationships with the nat-borns around them, so I can't really give a generalize answer.

I can't really even answer for Cal or Caleb specifically, since when I write and develop stories, I need to really build up how I perceive the culture of each battalion, who makes up the group, *their* personal backstories, and how that goes into how they interact with those around them...and I can't really do that big of a dive in an ask response!

But yeah, I'd expect it to be different and unique for both of their situations, and I guess I'll leave it at that!

But I just wanted to let you know that you are literally inspiring me to write a super long ass fic along with the author of ‘Alpha vs alpha’.

Just thought that you would appreciate my appreciation of the inspiration that you give me to destroy all the free time I once had to write a long ass fanfic.

I’m at 81,035 words and just going strong 💪, might celebrate 100,000 words with a 10,000 word chapter when I get there.

we felt the earthquake up in massachusetts so im like, assuming it was just A Big Boy

It was, by our standards, and the way I understand it is that it was a very different kind of earthquake from West Coast/other places that frequently get earthquakes. Hope y'all were okay!

Shit! I heard it was bad from some friend in NY, I didn't realize it was hitting NJ too! Are you and all yours doing okay??? /genq

This was from a while ago now, but yeah, it turns out I was pretty close to the epicenter, hence why it felt like a kaijuu was splitting the earth nearby ^ ^;; We're all fine! But it was a really freaky and weird experience, and this is coming from someone who has felt plenty of earthquakes before!
