Amai and Hoshino have moved! <3 I had hoped rehauling this blog would help me keep it active, but once again I’ve managed to spread myself too thin and I need to stop that - so to go along with a lot of ‘secret’ plotting between myself and @duelrisen​, I’m moving both Hoshino and Amai to a fankid-central multi! This blog will remain up as an archive and all plots and threads will continue on the new blog - Nothing is being dropped, just moved to a new location.

So with that said, from this point on you can find the Yuki siblings at @cubrisen​! <3

And I think I can call this rehaul done, finally! <3 Like with Aoi, I’m pretty sure all that’s left to do is the relationships blurbs and adding a few missing icons to match, but that’s not entirely super important that it needed to be done right now. Which means things should pretty much be complete! <3

Of major notes for this rehaul:

~This blog is now a selective dual muse! After much thinking and talking it out with close friends, I’ve decided to add Hoshino, Amai’s younger sister, as a muse to interact with. I’ve been wanting to develop her more, but please be aware Hoshino is a Vrains-only muse, and in anything set in ARC-V or GX is unavailable for interactions due to traveling with their father. The only exception is during a plotted out and brief glimpse of her, but for the most part, she will not be available at all aside from that single verse.

~Verses have been redone and shrunk down into only what was nessecary, so a few have been removed in favor of one verse per series/medium (I.E. One anime GX verse, One Manga GX verse, One ARC-V verse, etc.). Like with the kids’ mother, I had too many verses to handle and that did a number on figuring out how to do threads.

~The kids now have a large focus on their Vrains verse and have been worked into a large plot for it that ecompases this blog as well as my others, @duelrisen / @soulburnings, @cyberseignis, and @musicmovesoursouls. Each series has its own canon detailed out in their verse sections - another reason for minimizing the number of verses - but the Vrains one will be heavily tied to relationships formed and plotted with Kasa, Mew, and Vel’s.

~Rules have gotten a MAJOR rewrite! They now match the rules across all my blogs, so please give them a look!

~...Okay lemme rephrase that to point out everything has had a rewrite. XD And by everything, I mean eeeeeeeeeeverything.

~Amai has a new FC! As much as I love Valon and how well he fits him, Valon has been shifted to being the FC of Amai’s Link VRAINS avatar, while Amai’s new general FC is Beyblade’s Zeo Abyss.

~Amai is now listed as diagnosed ADHD. For a long time I was hesitant to actually say as much and tried to avoid it, but no matter how I worded it, he has been obviously ADHD for as long as I’ve had him.

~The kids now have a new theme to match their rehaul!

I’m probably missing something here, but I think that’s everything major involved here! I will also say that this blog is going to remain on slow activity for the foreseeable future - Not because of a lack of muse, but simply due to poor health (physical and mental) and a LOT of outside influences I’m not willing to go into. But I still hope this is the start to something new, and a return to the dork pup - And a start to developing Hoshino more! <3

A heads up: Amai’s blog has moved from being a side to Fireballofinsanity, to Cardrisen. This is a change that follows his mother, Aoi, and is largely an attempt to keep all my ygo-central blogs in one place, for making things easier on me. <3 So from this point on, any follows related to Amai will come from Cardrisen, NOT Fireball.

Just like Aoi, Amai will soon be going under a massive blog edit to refresh and rehaul all his info, too! It’s about time he got that much, and I’ve been debating a few things about his blog as a whole... Not deleting him, no, but adding new verses and where to focus attention. He’s been part of some major plotting and made a friend group for himself off-dash, and this is going to be reflected, too.

Just a bit longer, and a nerddog will return. <3

SPEED: Slow AF, unfortunately. In the last year or so a lot of people have moved on or gone on hiatus, so I don’t have all that many threads here - And then when I do Aoi and Amai are made lower priority compared to the blogs I run with more going on. Ends up making things super slow.

REPLIES: I tend to fall back on 2-3 paragraphs per reply? I love to write and be descriptive, but I don’t expect anyone to match my length. I just look for reasonable - That is no 2-3 lines in return to 2-3 paragraphs.

STARTERS: Once in a blue moon I might post an open or a starter call, but I do prefer to keep things unique and personalized to my partners, so opens are even less frequent that a straight starter call. Usually I tend to run off memes, tho, and I never mind writing starters for a partner, especially since I’m usually the one with more free time <3

INBOX: My inbox on both blogs is always open, especially since I love memes! It’s also the easiest way to get in touch with me, Amai, or Aoi, and start things - It’s also just eaten as much as the activity page and I’ve gotten asks showing up weeks after they were sent. By then it just feels awkward to answer them?

SELECTIVITY: Semi, for multiple reasons including for nasty depression and anxiety issues. It’s also slow af here at the moment, so it’s just easier to make these two semi and run off that, especially when I have trouble on slipping out of my comfort zone, even if I’m working on that~

WISHLIST: Friends! I’m dying for friends for these two, squirtle! I’d also love to put them in situations where they can show off the fact they’re actually pretty smart underneath it all - They’re a couple of dorks who want to enjoy life to the fullest and are thankful for everything they have to the point of taking it one day at a time, but that doesn’t mean they’re dumb idiots, either. They need situations they can show that again.

Sea green eyes peered up at the colorful drawings hung on the dojo’s wall. There was something about them that made everything about the place feel so warm... All signed in the hasty, scribbled handwriting of his teacher’s five year old son, they, to Amai, were a sign of a happy, loving family, each bit of artwork practically radiating with the love and happiness shared between them. And for a moment... Just for a moment, he caught himself missing his own father and his stories, on top of it all...

Shrugging off the pang of loneliness, Amai bounded over to the next picture, lifting a hand to point out the orange ears doodled onto each family member’s head in it. Lions, he knew, but- “How come orange?” the 11 year old questioned, turning his attention up to Takeru. “Hiko likes lions, right? S’ how come y’ got big kitty ears~?”
