i've been sitting on this after saying your mace smp character is a very good bpd allegory and i think what makes it so blatantly obvious (to me at least) was the way mace!stormz sought after dol9hin in the first place. never quite for the way mace!dolphin himself is, it always seemed like mace!stormz had an idealized version of how dolphin should be, of how everything should go, and no matter what way stormz went at it, mace!dolphin didn't fit this mold. he couldn't make him fit it either, and was constantly annoyed and frustrated with this despite wanting that idealized teammateship with dolphin so bad. like mace!stormz could never really take that final step of severing the connection like he was so suggested to because that means that everything he did was for nothing. he's gone the whole server chasing after something that was unobtainable in the first place, playing this back and forth isolationism game with dolphin when what he really wanted to achieve was never quite in grasp anyways.

mace!stormz's obsession with this idealized mace!dolphin being what pushes him away from mace!dumb and causing the rift between them to begin with, to be why they can't see eye to eye on the mace smp because to dumb, he /is/ everything that stormz was looking for from that idealized version of dolphin.

i have no idea if any of this is on point i lowkey was just spitballing after hearing the allegory was intentional 🥹

You got 99% of it perfectly, other than the fact that mace!stormz knows what he did was wrong because of the “i still feel empty line” so that comes into effect
