Portfolio Work in progress #3
The first picture demonstrates a persons interaction with nature (the river). which goes with my theme being nature in our everyday lives. The second image is of trees in a residential area and the last picture is of the canal de aqueduc in montreal. I took that picture becasue it goes iwth another image i took of the saint laurent river. These images are to help me make dyptichs and triptchs in order to complete my portfolio.

Portfolio Assignment- Work in progress #2
I took the picture of the houses and the trees behind it because it shows the presence of nature near peoples homes. I also took this image because it shows greenery near the houses and the background is filled with gray and trees with no leaves. I took a picture of the lake because i live near the river, i always find the tiny waves fascinating so i captured that in my shot along with a the sun that has almost set. I took a picture of the plants near the stairs because it shows the presence of a lot of greenery in my home. The sunlight was great becasue it helped capture the bright green of the leaves.

Portfolio Assignment work in progress #1
The pictures of the plants show the presence and the beauty of nature in our homes. These pictures demonstrate natures presence in my everyday life through a still life arrangment. The picture of the water shows the beauty of nature that is present when winter time approaches, the ice on water is something that not many pay attention to but it is still present. The blocks of ice natrually come together to make an artisitic form. These are all images I took of things i see everyday.

I want to take pictures of the people, places and things that interact with nature, in my everyday life. I want to illlustrate the idea of nature being around us at all times, through portraites, still lifes and landscape pictures. The picture above are photos from other photographers that illustrate the same idea of nature and its presence in our everyday lives.
