“You first!” Yusuke said, pushing Ed in the opening. He could see a few of the enemies look directly at Ed and waiting to see what they would do before he revealed that there were two of them instead of the one that they could see.

“Just hold em off for a sec. I’ll figure something out.”

“Its not a trick!” Never the less Ed stuck his hands in his pockets and followed behind Yusuke. And he was not grumbling. Nope. Not in the slightest. When they finally reached the door Ed strained his ears to see if he could hear people on the other side.

TASTE: Yusuke likes all kind of food. If someone cooks, he’ll eat it. There aren’t many favorites, but Keiko’s cooking tops the list.

SMELLS: Yusuke smells like he’s been playing and rolling around in the grass all day.

Yusuke started to head towards the opening, hearing talking coming from the room. If there were people there, they definitely weren’t gonna be able to surprise em’ now.

“You’re lucky you didn’t bring the whole building down, dumbass.” Party tricks??? “I could have knocked all of those walls down but I didn’t wanna risk bringing the roof down on top of us.” He gave Yusuke a mean smile. Alchemy was not a party trick.

Yusuke found it as easy to get under Ed’s skin as he could Kazuma’s. In all honesty, Yusuke still had no idea what they were looking for and it didn’t seem like Ed did either. How long would they be stuck in this random place?

Ed was silent for a few moments.

“You… you could have done that this whole time rather than us wandering around like a pair of idiots?!” He really wanted to take a swing at Yusuke. Instead he stalked after his new found friend, silently grumping the entire way to the door. It was funny, Ed hadn’t sulked since he had left Amestris. Sure he brooded but this was his first sulk in a while.

The beach had grown quiet as he walked on it. You could see that he was pretty sweaty from some kind of physical activity. This had probably been the longest time he was away from his friends. Koenma needed both Hiei and Kurama to stay with him, as there were things that still needed to be handle while the current Spirit Detective was gonna be gone.

No one had seen or heard from Yusuke until now, at this very moment. There was no way he could’ve known that they were at the beach, yet he showed up. Perfect timing, seeing as Keiko was having a fit. He saw her about to throw the ring and yelled from afar. 

“Hey!” his voice echoed. He’d saw her stop, mid-throw, giving off the look that she had heard him. He was getting closer to her, but she didn’t turn around. Was she in shock? The others saw him walking, but chose not to run up to him as they normally would, as this was a moment for Keiko. He stopped right behind her and grabbed the ring out of her hand, making her face him.

He hugged her and held her as tightly as possible.

“I told you I’d be back. Don’t give up on me.”

Reunions || Yusuke

@yusukethespiritdetective Keiko looked around and she sighed as she really hoped she would be able to see Yusuke… He had promised her that he would come back before her graduation and they would be able to be together. No more of this…Dective Business …sitting at the train station she sighed as the train that he was supposed to be on came and went.  “Maybe it wasn’t meant to be"She said sadly as she started to walk up the steps and started to head for home.

She was with the others as they had headed to the beach for the day.  She was thinking deeply when she heard Yukina suggest to play in the water….She told them to go on ahead.  “YUSUKE! THIS IS IT….IM DONE WAITING….I CAN’T ….I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOU ANYLONGER…IT HURTS…FINE, DO YOUR FIGHTING…I …IM DONE!” she yelled as she hoped that evey this…would reach Yusuke, but she doubted it. 

Kuwabara looked at Keiko like she was crazy, “She …She has lost it.  “Botan sighed, “Can you blamed her…waiting for Yusuke all this time, after all the lot of you have been through…”She said more to herself, rather than anyone else.  She only hope Yusuke would show. 

“Because, Keiko would, has been getting offers to have others to be their friend…Or even more than a friend.  But she had turned them all down in hopes of waiting for the day Yusuke returned”She sighed. 

Keiko was about to throw the friendship ring she had gotten from Yusuke into the water, when she heard a voice and her eyes widened as she didn’t want to believe it. It had to be in her head. It had to be…

Yusuke was shocked that Ed could do that for a second, until he realized that he had a good point.

“Make your own wall, huh?” Yusuke looked at his hand and pointed it at the walls in the form of a gun. He shot straight through all of the walls inside of that maze before it exploded, revealing a steel door.

“Guess that training with Genkai worked out pretty well, hehe.” he said, walking towards the door.

“You comin’?”

Ed sighed heavily, rolling his eyes at how Yusuke seemed to completely ignore what he was hinting at. Instead he stepped forward and studied the wall. Then he looked over his shoulder and grinned at Yusuke. Turning back to the wall Ed clapped his hands together and slapped his palms to the wall. A crackle of blue sparks and a little light and the solid wall suddenly had a door.

“If you don’t have a door, make one of your own.”
