blog for twstprimarily focused on collecting and posting things related to my Yuu OC (Yew occasionally). Blog might be a general fanfic idea collection space in the future depending on what I want to write about, but my sad emo son is my focus right now.I am Tea. They/Them. 31. white U.S.I tag for twst spoilers for a couple days for the main storyline, but don't tag much for manga or event spoilers. If any followers would like me to please send me an ask, anon or otherwise. I have another blog where I focus on more than TWST, but I did think that trying to write for TWST before delving into other subjects/media might be easy to tackle for practice (I was wrong about that but it's fun regardless)Not interested in selfship (although other fans' yumes and such are very cute!), any romantic pairs not canon / canon are OC that are not related to me, probably twisted off something non Disney though. On the off chance I ever do decide to try selfshipping it will be throwing myself at Maleanor's feet. Likelihood of it is low, unless I think I could make it funny (over here like My Queen, let me save you from the narrative). I have nothing to offer Georgina at all, unfortunately.

love scary robot mom
her attitude to noelle has been really interesting, like..
this kind of 'the evil queen kidnapped our friend' to 'oh it's her mom'
i'm biased bc i love difficult mom relationships, especially with daughters but she was also just such a fun character

I don't think anyone following me is reading this but spoilers for Almost There by Farrah Rochon in any case -
This scene in the novel when Tiana has to watch her dad age before her before dying is really hitting hard because my father was just hospitalized because he hasn't been able to eat or drink anything for days

LGBTQ especially gnc/nb writers pls interact :)
A while ago, I made a post about my postapocalyptic worldbuiding whereby a caste of people traditionally assigns gender at birth to babies according to the gender of the parent that can make the baby stop crying first when held (shoutout to @idiotlaintelligent ), if the baby still doesnt stop then pass it around to the friends / family of the parents then once it stops it will be assigned the pronouns and traditional names (masc/fem/gender neutral).
Pronouns assigned can be she/her and he/him like in our world andn the other castes in that world but gender neutral ones : e/em, xe/xem, or ze/zem are also assigned depending on the parents wishes. They don't have they/them because their language doesnt really use plural nouns.
So basically for them sex ≠ gender and the 'mother' can be he/him w a masc/neutral name, father can be she/her/e/em with a fem name. The reaosn the system is there is because of in their folklore there are 3 main dieties and they are said to be descendants of each of the dieties like a adam and eve kind of thing. Gender doesnt affect societal roles / heirarchy / whatever, its egalitarian
Also this culture is much more queernormative than the other castes in the world, if soemone decided they dont vibe w he/him they can change theri name (or not) and use she/her instead. If someone decided (child/adult) to transition friends and family will hold a small ceremony burying the old identity and celebrating the new one. The same goes for coming out as bi/gay/pan etc.
Basically i'm asking for any refinements in this idea and also one mroe thing
In the real world, culturally, the lgbtq community have symbols signifying thier identity such as carabiners, bandanas, and pride flags (the former 2 being subtle bc of homophobia) , what can i do for this world as it is very lgbtq-friendly however the place just outside of thier community is much more homophobic and cisheteronormative? Any ideas?
