This comic was inspired by a post that I cannot find [redacted rant about how much tumblr's search function is the closest there is tho pure evil]. So you know, if anyone has that post hand it I will actually make you a silly litltle doodle.

I'm interested in your preferences as readers as I'm currently writing a fic that is slow burn with pining and it is going to have a lot of detailed touching.

For the hot to the touch argument: biologically, creatures in hot places have big ears for heat to escape, and exude heat with blood vessels being close to the surface of the skin.

For cool to the touch: cold blooded creatures cannot regulate their own body temperature and rely on external heat and can survive on a lot less food. Vulcan is hot, and Vulcans can regulate their body temperature to a degree but prefer hotter environments for comfort.
