What if the Dark Urge was a companion?

I love all the companions in Baldur's Gate 3 HOWEVER, I would've loved to see Dark Urge as a companion! Imagine the sweet angst and spicey scenes!!!!
What happens to him if you choose Tav over his origin makes me sad. So, I'm making this a thing!

🩸 Vincent Acheron 🩸
vampire spawn | elf | rogue with a keen interest in necromancy | Astarion romanced
Astarion as well as Vincent are both vampire spawns, slaves to their vile master Cazador. Vincent got turned after he nearly died due to a deadly sickness he had. While Astarion was more the "favorite" spawn of Cazador due to his "sweet-sounding" screams, Vincent was more the quite type of guy, known for his beautiful face and long, mesmerizing black hair. At first Astarion and him didn't trust each other but with every moment they went out into the city to "hunt" together, the feeling of mistrust changed into a friendship that drew closer and closer. Sometimes they ran away laughing, got always catched and punished for their behavior. Cazador hated it when they were together to search the taverns for preys so they always had to sneak out in order to go together.
Astarion was never really a fan of Vincents interest in necromancy but nevertheless he made sure nobody in the szarr palace suspected a thing about it. It inspired him somehow, watching Vincents dedication to this rather "hobby" until one day an experiment went wrong, Vincents arms and legs turned black and none of them both talked about it ever again.
While they were out in the city again, they got abducted by mindflayers. Both hardly remember anything after the crash but after finding themselfs again they were inseparable more than ever, trying to search for a cure.
They will find it. They will destroy their old master and be free. They will lost track of each other after their heroic adventure with their new-found friends.
And one day while exploring a weird tavern in the Shadowfell with his friends, Astarion will be the one who finds the horribly separated head of his once first love, Vincent Acheron.
Vincent is my newest Tav and inspired by (I believe it was) this dnd campaign with Neil, Samantha, Devora and Theo where Astarion found the remains of his once old and close vampire spawn friend called Vincent. I really wanted to do such a Tav for a long time now and after my last playthrough got corrupted and couldn't be opened anymore I was able to start this run.~ (I sat on his appearance for at least an hour, believe me..)

THIS.
I woke up and I am angry.
Whenever I say I like Gortash, people are always like :"eww how could you"
Without wanting to read or know about his story? I am sorry Larian cut most of his content from Act3. He had great potential. Even the story we know and have to search ourselves in letters, diaries, etc is deep and touching enough.
He turned out pretty ok for what he has been through.
-His mother hates him to this day and wished she k-lled him in the womb
-She says he was a needy kid(every kid is needy and requires love and attention)
-His parents sold him to Raphael to pay off a petty debt. Is this what your son's life is worth?
-He was forced to live and work in the House of Hope since he was a kid, witness Raphael shitting in the middle of the hallway, clean their yucky boudoir and see whatever Harleep was up to
-That gnome in the House of Hope was beating him up everyday for fun since a human kid is smaller than a petty deep gnome (drow hatred towards gnomes intensifies)
-His mother says he was always tinkering something ever since he was little, so he just wanted to craft
-All of the other gods ignored his prayers in Avernus, except for Bane. Gortash was not a debtor and was not supposed to be there in the first place.
-Despite all of that, he found ambition and will to live, wanting to rule, experiment, deciphered the Mind flayer language by himself, and created the whole plot. Enslaving people, being an arms dealer, etc is not ok ofcourse. I am just stating that the fact he had motivations, ambitions and creative genius still, no matter if they were evil.
-He kind of wanted to create a peaceful life for himself, even through tyranny. And for Durge probably too because they talk about their mutual "dream"
-Just when his dream plan seemed certain, Durge, who I believe is his soulmate, no matter if people believe they were in a relationship or not, disappears. I am sure Durge was the only person who could kind of understand him.
Yeh. That's it.

The thing about Enver Gortash that gets me the most is like
Here’s perhaps the most complex and well thought out character in the game. You can feel his presence all throughout as early as act 1 by seeing just how far his influence has come. He’s ruthless and irrevocably evil, but also broken in a way that doesn’t justify any of his wrongdoings. He’s a brilliant mind who clawed himself out of the hells and into this seat of power, yet he doesn’t want to rule alone.
He’s grieving over his partner, and it’s very apparent when you look at the actions he took after losing the Dark Urge.
He wants to rule with you. If you play as the Dark Urge, he clearly loves you in whatever manner you interpret that love to be.
But you can’t love him back.

I don't like fics when Gortash and Durge are only hurting each other but also I don't want them to have way too healthy and domestic relationship. They need to be toxic - but in a very specific way. They are different but somehow perfectly complimentary. Whatever thing they have works just for them and them specifically. Perfectly matching each other freak in a way no one else could. <3

Baldurs Gate 3 is so wild when you realise how vastly different the game is depending on if you choose Tav or Dark Urge
Dark Urge Playthrough: you’re the child of Bhaal, but unlike the Bhaalspawn, you are created solely by Bhaal himself. The first true child of Bhaal. The daughter of one of your father’s previous Bhaalspawn turns on you, attacks you and tries to kill you. In your dying state, she infects you with a parasite so that you’ll die an incredibly humiliating death, and become her slave.
By some miracle you end up on the same nautiloud ship as a Sharron Cleric who happens to to be carrying a gith artefact that contains Baldur himself. Baldur, who was made a mind flayer and is now calling himself the Emperor, realises there’s an incredibly powerful Bhaalspawn on the ship, and that he can use them to his advantage. The power you have will help him destroy Gortash. Of course he picks you, it makes so much sense.
On your way to Baldurs Gate you find out through an unsent letter that you used to be into Gortash. When you get to Baldurs Gate, the man you used to fuck turns out to be an absolute loser and with horror you realise he is still into you. It’s okay though, he’s very easy to kill.
You end up facing off against Orin, your niece, and kill her. Your father appears to you and offers you the chance to become his Slayer. On the high chance you turn him down, he murders you in front of your loved ones, and leaves you to rot.
Then Jergal, the actual Lord of the End of Everything, the original God of Death, who was the very being that turned you father into a God all that time ago, who’s been in your camp for weeks pretending to be this undead scribe called Withers, appears next to your corpse and brings you back to life, basically adopts you, states that he will protect you from Bhaal, and announces that as long as he lives, you will never die. You’re essentially immortal.
Tav Playthrough: you’re a random nobody that was unlucky enough to get kidnapped by Mind Flayers. The Emperor must pick one of the many idiots on the ship to be his pawn. He sees Tav and thinks “ugh, yeah this one will do”.

Ready for a wild journey filled with love, death, and adventure? The Life & Death Legacy Challenge is here to push your Sims to their limits! 💀❤️ Each generation has unique challenges and goals that must be completed to carry on the legacy. But beware – this challenge won’t be easy, as it focuses on the thin line between life and death!
Rules:
You must complete each generation’s goals before moving on to the next one.
Your Sims must live in Ravenswood for the first 3 generations, setting the stage for a dark and twisted family history.
Murder and death play a central role in the challenge, but there are no cheats allowed to cause death (like MCCC or Testingcheats True).
A “bucket list” is crucial for some generations, and all tasks on the list must be completed before moving on.
You cannot make your Sims immortal (except for one specific generation that seeks immortality).
Each Sim must experience some form of tragedy or hardship, such as losing loved ones, facing poverty, or dealing with betrayal.
This challenge revolves around dark themes of life, loss, and redemption, creating a dramatic and emotional storyline for your Sims to live through. 😈 Can you guide your family through generations of trials, heartbreak, and perhaps even forbidden love with death itself?
