Being wayyyyyy past the target age demographic of Heartstopper (…to date myself, the teen series of my youth was Dawson’s Creek), I found myself wanting to give mom hugs to all the main characters right alongside the amazing Olivia Colman.

I’m trying to brace myself for the inevitable terrible cliffhanger that snw is going to end on next week especially knowing it’s going to be who knows when (what 2025? ‘26? Ever??) before we see a conclusion. Ughhhhh…

Allll of this. I see a lot of catastrophizing Re: spapel from this last episode and while I am suuuuper sad about it I am willing to wait to see how this plays out in the last episode. I don’t think we’ve seen the end of their story (b/c honestly how much of a let down would that be after all the buildup??)

Also this episode was amazing and (other than poor heartbroken Spock which made me sad) made me SO happy!!

For the first time in my life, I actually enjoyed a musical episode! SNW pulled it off. This show knows how to make comedy, drama, action and now musicals too!

This cast is insanely talented. I can't believe how good everyone sings! Bravo!!!👏

Also all the songs were awesome. Kudos to the composers!👏

Now give this show an Emmy please!

!Spapel Spoilers!

I'm heartbroken.💔 I feel exactly like Spock. 😭

This episode was hard for our ship. But I will wait till the finale to see where the writers are going with their story.

This episode didn't give us Christine's POV. And because of that she seemed a little out of character? We have seen their relationship through Spock's perspective. All we can say about Christine is that she was super happy to get the Vulcan Fellowship bcoz it was truly her professional dream. Something that she always wanted and worked so hard to get. And with this new music reality heightening their emotions, forcing them to lose control, she was extra enthusiastic about the Vulcan Fellowship.

Spock on the other hand is dealing with so many feelings! Christine is IMO his first love and now he is experiencing his first heartbreak, which is gonna leave a mark. He believes Christine never felt as strongly as he felt for her. He thinks he's left behind and abandoned. He openly admits that he's hurt. Which is kind of a big deal for him.

Hopefully in the finale we will get some good scenes, I especially want to hear about Christine's feelings. I suspect she is self-sabotaging at the moment. She already had commitment phobia, then Boimler crushed her dreams and confirmed her fears, then her PTSD was triggered and BOOM. She is putting up walls around her heart and pushing Spock away.

I hope this is not the end for them. I hope the feelings between them and the tension remain throughout the show.

I have watched this scene just an unreal number of times since Thursday. It is just perfect. The buildup, the music, the tension, Jess Bush’s tiny chin wobble, Ethan Peck’s just barely there tiny smile. The ear touch. The little second kiss?!?????? 🥰🥰🥰🥰🤯🤯🤯🤯😍😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥 this brings me joy. Just a whole lot of joy.

I realized there were a bunch of things in my life that overlap with Spock. I’m such a sensitive person and out of fear of being hurt, I would hide my feelings a lot as a kid. That lasted into my adulthood in a lot of ways. Spock feels deeply and is very sensitive. He’s grown up in this culture where he’s not allowed to be like that. Note: Man, listen, I don’t know. I haven’t written fanfic in a while, but these two have me in a fucking chokehold. Don’t talk to me about TOS. I’m living strictly in SNW right now and I have no intention of moving elsewhere. The hallways were quiet after the funeral.

As big as the Enterprise was, it always felt impossibly small after a loss. They all saw each other every day. They heard each other over comms, greeted each other in the hallways, shared food across a table. Sparred each other in the gym. Cliques and friend groups were as common aboard the ship as they were anywhere else, but the crew was the crew and to be gone was to be missed.

“Spock?” Christine knocked gently on his door. There was no one else in the hallway to hear her, but she still kept her voice low. “Spock, it’s Christine. Let me in. Please.”
