A Maxis Match Lighting Mod Tweak!

As requested by @jellymeduza I'm sharing my tweak of @dreadpirate's fabulous Maxis Match lighting mod. This makes the unlit rooms during dawn and dusk a bit brighter (closer to how they appear at nighttime) and tweaks the colour-cast a bit too. The photos above are all four time of day states including with my tweaks - but nothing about day or night was actually changed from the original MM lighting mod.

Below are all the before and after pictures for dawn/dusk next to each other - before is the MM lighting mod "out of the box" and after is with my tweaks.

How to install:

Download the Maxis Match lighting mod exactly as per dreadpirates instructions. (don't worry about the part on enabling or disabling dawn and dusk states, that will be included in my edit)

Replace your lighting.txt file with mine included in this download - this will be in your base game install folders, for the UC the file path is "Double Deluxe/Base/TSData/Res/Lights" and you'll be overwriting the lighting.txt file in there with mine.

Has it really been two months since my last hair upload?! I moved to a new neighborhood last month, and I haven’t really had time for anything other than WoW… but I miss my game bad and I’m dying to get back to pose making and storytelling. Anyway, I saw this pretty hair and had to retexture it immediately. I don’t usually download hairs like this that don’t have a backside, but I was willing to make an exception for this one. While I was at it, for fun I also did some ombre and oil slick recolors.

The end of the year is approaching, the first Christmas cookies are being baked and there is even snow in Berlin - it'sn fucking cold brrrr  ˚₊✩‧₊* ‧₊˚

And very soon, the new THE SIMS™ 4 FOR RENT expansion pack will be released. 

There's a lot to come and I'm really looking forward to celebrating Christmas with the new neighborhood. 🎅

When I returned from my trip to Japan at the beginning of November, I just felt like creating a super cute collection.  ʙᴜʙʙʟᴇɢᴜᴍ is an eclectic mix of unique pieces  that look lovely together, but can also stand on their own and make every home a little more yummy pop!, pastel colory, fun and comfy. 

I just created pieces that I really fancied at that moment and I absolutely love how everything came together in the end. I especially love the many different prints on the seating furniture and the super large selection of picture motifs, many of which are also inspired by Asia.

the chair, desk and door shelves are recolors, original by leosims, the ladder shelf is a ts3 object by LDG, and the two top corner tables are original ts2 items by mustluvcatz [with some heavy mesh edits on my end, they may have some minor appearance issues but I did my best to fix the UV mapping]. thanks to all of the creators for making these amazing items!
