you encountered catwoman when you stole something, you were a great thief and you only stole every now and then but you just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

“well well what do we have here?” she says as she circles around you “you have guts. stupid ones but you have time. from now on you’re working for me i like your attitude.”

ever since terry started working for bruce wayne the two of you seemed to have less time together and ever since you started working for catwoman you barely had time for dates

“hey baby,” he said as he kissed your cheek and slid down into the seat next to you “sorry for not being able to make the date up to you i’ll make it up i promise” you smiled “it’s fine besides i had an emergency call in for work”

when it comes to him as batman the two of you had witty and flirty banter. for some reason, the two of you just clicked it felt like you knew him for ages

“those jewels don’t go with your complexion there sweetheart. it’s a shame you have to steal them” he leaned against the wall of the jewelry store as you grabbed something that caught your eye “too bad” you turn around with a catlike grin on your face “are you offering to buy me something nicer?”

bruce groaning every time he has to hear terry flirting with you he’s always like “keep your eyes on the prize terry.” and terry says “oh i am” while staring at you

the first time bruce heard “catwoman” his draw dropped he knew it wasn’t selina because he hadn’t heard of her in ages but yet catwoman was back, every time he encounters you he has terry give him a recap so they’re closer to uncovering who you are

we all know what catwoman’s suit looks like so when he sees your curves and how you fill it out he can’t take his eyes off you. there would be times when the two of you are so close that you’re damn near kissing

when the two of you are at school and batman and catwoman are suddenly brought up it gets strange

“did you guys see the news last night? batman helped the city again.” a classmate commented. you shrugged “from a thief though.” terry nudged you with a playful grin “what don’t tell me you’re team catwoman” you laugh a little “why shouldn’t i be she’s the only one who can give batman a run for his money” “hmmm i don’t know about that one baby.”

he would tell max about the dilemma he has with catwoman and knowing her she offers to help him out and find out catwoman’s identity. max heard how he talked to you on the comms once and she never went on while he was chasing you around again

eventually, your identities slowly fell apart. both of you let something slip and your “bosses” were able to figure out the rest and it was a strange conversation for the two of you.

the two of you were secretly talking in the batcave to make sure no one could hear you “so let me get this straight. you’re catwoman? this whole time it was you?” you shrugged “i could say the same the whole time instead of working for mr. wayne you were being batman??”

the flirty banter between y’all only gets worse

he snuck up behind you putting his hands on your waist “aw come on baby you don’t need to take that i can buy you something better.” you lean back and press a quick kiss to his masked cheek “mmm i don’t think you can but thanks for trying.”

he places one arm on the side of your head as you leaned your back on your locker “so where were you last night?” you smiled knowing he knew exactly where you were and what you were doing “oh here and there. nothing much to worry about” you pressed a kiss to his lips and hummed when you felt his tongue swipe your bottom lip.

You come home to find your boyfriend splayed out on your bed. His frame dwarfs your plushies and little throws, and your blankets are messed up. He looks sick.

“Babe?” you call worriedly, rushing to place a hand on his forehead to assess his temperature. He sighs exasperatedly and leans into your touch.

“Need you,” he breathes, pulling you down to the bed with him.

“Terry!” you laugh, kissing his cheek. He pulls you in, lips connecting in a heated kiss. He parts his lips and you feel…fangs? “Mmh,” you mumble into the kiss.

Terry’s kisses move down your neck, hot and inviting. He pants, and you feel his teeth on the junction of your neck. “Just a little, baby?” he questions, and you nod. Do you know what he’s talking about? No. Do you trust your boyfriend completely? Yes.

Terry bites your neck, and you feel him sucking your blood. “T-Terry, what are you—” He pulls back, licking over the bite. It’s enough to sate him, you presume. Your eyes fall half shut, body tired from the quick riddance of a decent amount of blood.

“Shit, Y/n, m’sorry, baby,” he whispers, lips still flush against his neck. “Something happened on patrol.”

You chuckle. “I could tell.” You shiver and you realize that the window is wide open. “Terry, you left the window open?”

“I need to get back out there soon,” he says, “Needed to clear my head first. Needed to see you,” he kisses your temple, squeezing you tight.

You return his kiss with a multitude of your own, and soon he’s fighting to get out of your bed.

“Leave it unlocked for me?” he asks, his leg dangling out the window.

“‘Course,” you grin. “I expect you to be back soon, babe.”

Terry smirks, shaking his head and dropping out of your window, shutting it behind him. Now…How to explain to Bruce why he disappeared in the middle of a fight…

⪩ summary- your boyfriend becomes a vampire and he’s feeling a little hungry.

he stumbled into his room and crashed onto his bed after a long mission, at least he thought it was his. your scent was distinct and overwhelming it made him hungry just the thought of you was enough to send him into an overload. he sat up on the bed and got a closer look at his surroundings he was in your house.

he was shaken out of his thoughts by the sound of sound of your doorknob turning. you walked into your room listening to music unaware of your surroundings. he held back a chuckle you were always in your own world when it came to music. he came behind you and rested his hands on your hips “hey” it was one simple word and you almost jumped out of your skin.

you paused your music by taking off your headphones and turned to face him resting your hands on his chest “terry what are you doing here?” he brought his hand up to your cheek gently caressing it with his thumb then he trailed it down to your neck “i wanted you.” he gently rubs his thumb into your neck.

“what?” you felt your whole body beat up from head to toe “wait terry how did you even get in?” his hand trails your side resting on your hip once more. he buries his head in the crook of your neck “the window.” honestly he’s not so sure how he got in but he could care less.

he leaves a trail of wet open mouth kisses on your neck “i know you taste sweet baby i can feel it” he pulls your body closer to his, any closer and the two of you would practically become one. he wasn’t feeling like himself he doesn’t know what happened one minute he was batman on a mission the next he had a strong desire for you. to feel you, to taste you, everything about you.

you felt fangs graze your neck “i just need a little bit baby. just a little” his tongue traces a vein on your neck causing you to shiver.

“terry…did you get spliced?” you bury a hand in his hair gently tugging. he lets out a soft groan “i don’t know. maybe? it’s complicated.” his lips find your neck once more this time leaving a noticeable mark in their wake “i just know one thing baby” he kisses your neck “i need you” he kisses a vein on your neck. his hands move under your shirt, he rests his hands on your stomach and gently rubs circles with his thumbs “just a little baby until i can figure this out.”

you sighed, you didn’t trust splicing but neither did terry you wanted to wonder why he did it in the first place but your mind was too foggy to care.

“yeah just a little okay?” you murmur. he presses a swift kiss to your neck and sank his fangs into your neck causing you to wince at the feeling. your taste was intoxicating to him. you were sweet but bitter, spicy but cold, tropical but yet like a woody forest. you were everything at once and he loved it. he loved you.

when he got his fill he pulled back gently licking the leftover blood from your neck. you collapsed into his arms feeling slightly lightheaded from the blood loss and he caught you with ease “you said only a little” you said through labored breaths. he pressed a swift kiss to your forehead “sorry about that.” he hoisted you into his arms carrying you bridal style to your bed “get some rest okay?”

and with that, he slipped into the night back to the wayne manor.

“what happened out there terry?” bruce asks without sparing a glance at terry, his eyes are glued to the monitor scanning through intel.

“just had to take care of something. i think that guy hit me with something and got me spliced can you help me out?” he was slowly coming to his senses, he walked past the display cases and caught a glimpse of himself in the reflection. like any vampire he couldn’t see himself in reflective surfaces.

but the only thing he could see was his bat suit, he was wearing it when he saw you. he can only hope that it was too dim for you to notice.

you rolled your eyes when he approached your locker. even though the two of you broke up two weeks ago you were always aware of him it was like a habit you couldn’t shake.

from beside you felt max nudge you with her elbow “don’t look now y/n but here he comes.” max knows all too well about what terry’s been up to as batman. you however were left completely in the dark, after months of empty promises and missed dates you couldn’t take it anymore. the problem though was that you couldn’t stay away.

you slammed your locker shut and watched as he got closer to your locker and leaned against the one next to yours.

you looked him up and down and rolled your eyes “mcginnis.”

he simply smiled at you, he was way used to your attitude by now “l/n. you didn’t answer my call last night.” you clicked your tongue feigning innocence “oh really? you know i tend to not call my exes so maybe it’s just a coincidence.”

he chuckled “funny.” he leaned in closer to your face causing your noses to just barely brush against each other “come on you’re still not mad are you baby?”

your eyes flickered to his lips before meeting his blue eyes “yes i am.” a smirk slowly formed on his lips “you don’t sound too mad to me. you’re still talking to me aren’t you?”

it was the same game between the two of you. you wanted nothing to do with him or at least you felt like you did, and he wanted everything to do with you. he loves being around you and he loves you.

“…class is starting.” you turned to leave walking off to your next class. max leaned against her locker looking at terry “they’ve got you bad huh?” she sighs “i have a plan to help you out, just show up to the diner on lunch break.” she waved him off over her shoulder and trailed after you.

she slid into the desk next to you, as usual, your teacher just handed you all worksheets and left you all to your own devices. the whole class was in mutual agreement that no one was passing the end-of-year exam but a free period is a free period.

“so you and terry huh.”

you cut her off with a huff and a roll of your eyes “there is no me and terry. he’s just an ex.” she rose a brow “if terry is ‘just an ex’ then that must make me superman.” she nudges you with her elbow “come on y/n. i see how he looks at you. and i hear how he talks to you too he’s definitely not over you.”

you fill out the worksheet to avoid her gaze “that doesn’t matter anymore max.”

max sighs, terry is gonna owe her for this. she needed a way for the two of you to talk. it was understandable why the two of you broke up but it’s clear you still like each other and honestly, it was just getting hard to watch “how about we take your mind off of all this terry nonsense at lunch? my treat.”

you smile at her “that sounds great max thanks.”

she waves her hand dismissively with a smile “don’t mention it y/n. now forget about terry and let me tell you what i heard about nash and his girl”

“ooo you serious? spill!”

the class went by faster than either of you had anticipated gossiping the whole period truly goes a long way. max looks through her bookbag and sucks her teeth “damn i forgot my card in my locker. you go on ahead without me y/n and grab us a seat y/n i’ll meet you there.” you nodded, it was always busy at the diner if you don’t get there during the rush you wouldn’t be getting a seat “sure i’ll see you there.”

you weaved through the crowd and you walked to the diner snagging a spot for you and max. you idly scrolled on your phone to pass the time.

“y/n?” the voice that called out to you felt so familiar, so warm, so caring, so…terry.

you looked up from your phone watching as he slid into the seat across from you “i’m saving that seat for max terry.” he chuckled “that’s funny because max told me to meet her here too.”

you groaned and facepalmed. it was all a setup max got the both of you. you grabbed your phone and scooted out of the booth “i have nothin to say to you terry.” he gently grabbed your wrist “baby just talk to me. what can i do to fix this? i don’t like being apart from you.”

you remain silent, he releases your wrist and you sit back down “you wanna know what it is terry? i’m tired of you bailing out on me. it’s constantly mr. wayne this mr. wayne that. i just want to spend time like we used to i can’t exactly spend time with a boyfriend that isn’t there.”

he gently rests his hand on top of yours “i can’t promise that i’ll be able to clear my schedule baby but i’ll try my best. hell, i’ll even set a day aside just for you.”

you look out the window keeping your gaze on anything but him “hey look at me baby” you couldn’t help yourself and turned to meet his eyes “i love you and i always will we can make this work i promise.”

he wishes he could tell you about him being batman, it would make everything so much easier and he could just fly over and see you any time after patrol. but he can’t for your safety he won’t. it doesn’t matter how many times you break up with him because of his schedule. he’ll always love you and find his way back to you no matter how long it takes.

if things get too dangerous he’ll send you to live with his parents with no explanation he just swears that he’ll make it up to you n he gives you a big hug (even though it doesn’t help much and hurts your feelings greatly)

the one time he managed to get a day off he spent the whole day with you, it was literally impossible and the justice league had a busy day but he knows it was worth it. he would fly you around on his back sometimes while you tell him about your school day and he tells you about a “scoop” he’s working on

since he’s not around often you normally spend most of your time hanging out with jon, the two of you would play baseball and he would teach you how to play if you didn’t know how

cheering the loudest at his baseball games. he always appreciates it especially when clark isn’t able to show up

jon absolutely loves hanging out with you, whether you’re younger, older, or even the same age as him he’s glad to have you around

before he found out about his powers you always bailed him out of trouble at school when he was being bullied

and when he gets his powers you have to bail him out twice as much because sometimes the incidents would be accidental and you have to lie real well to keep louis from finding out

you sat on your bed laying flat on your stomach gently swinging your legs back and forth “damn thirteen times fifteen…what was that again?” you mumbled to yourself reaching for your calculator when terry suddenly chimed in. he was sitting in front of you and looked down at you with a small smile on his face “one ninety-five.”
