Tragedy is sewn into your soul, darling, no matter how bright your halo glows, or how high your wings take you, you will always, eventually, fall.

there is no part of me that doesn’t wish that i could give you a home in my heart / but, darling, the walls are rotten & crumbling. the air is filled with toxins. it is not safe for you here in the dilapidated chambers of my once beating heart.

Someday, we’ll run into each other again, I know it. Maybe I’ll be older and smarter and just plain better. If that happens, that’s when I’ll deserve you. But now, at this moment, you can’t hook your boat to mine, because I’m liable to sink us both.

dannyxvertuoso:
He couldn’t hold the mocking laugh that threatened to escaped his lips anymore.“You can’t really believe that anything you did had an impact on me. I wasn’t the one that ended up on a hospital bed. I saw someone’s head chopped off, I had to dance fucking tango and someone I cared for got shot and killed. I really don’t want, or for that matter, need your apologies so why don’t you go to somebody else. Your sister perhaps. Not the dead one of course. Funny how she got more love from you than the other one.” Danny said his expression taking a more serious tone. The actor knew exactly what he should say to piss someone off.
Danny had changed, he was no longer that bright and bubbly boy but a twisted man who spit his words at Zach like venom he knew would sting. He succeeded in that, and Zach wished the two hadn’t even talked because it just brought him more pain than it did happiness. Zach opened his mouth to speak, but found no words that would fix the situation like he desperately wanted to. He simply looked at the man, love and sorrow in his eyes, so many unsaid things on the tip of his tongue, and he walked away.

msshcrpe:
“What would you bet on then? Your life?” she asked, raising an eyebrow with complete curiosity. Not once has she thought about firing him, but she wanted him to think she could any second. “You don’t have to call me out, but then again, it just gives me a lot more reason to my way with you.” Slowly, she let his neck go. It was only a way to show him and others how much power she could hold over a person. Which was why within a few seconds, she also softly pushed his face away. “Yes, much better.”
“Perhaps.” Not like he gave much thought to his life, his past attempts at ending it showed that clearly. Despite the fact that things weren’t too bad now, things still weren’t all that great. He gave no care to his life and what it meant to others, because overall it really meant nothing. He was let go from her serpent grip, his head being pushed away from her, and he looked back down to her small form. “Is there anything else I can do for you Ms. Sharpe?”

You seem to lay back and allow the world to take you but now it's time to take the world. Literally. It's about time you started campaigning for change but you're going to need a coach if you really plan to make it to electoral roll by 2020. Ask Tyler Kigonyi to coach you. Maybe he wants to be Mayor but you, Zach, want to be Priminister. Consider this a dare.
“Well of all people at least it’s me. I mean if Sam was dared to do this then everyone would be jumping off buildings like Hazel, or if it was Millie. Fuck, everyone would be getting stabbed in the back twenty times over. This place needs me.”

i’m sorry darling, i never meant to love you; to love you like i do— like a hungry thing that’s always eating. and i’m sorry i have claws claws and teeth and jaws glass shards and broken ribs; all these sharp things that are craving you.

I did not like to be touched, but it was a strange dislike. I did not like to be touched because I craved it too much. I wanted to be held very tight so I would not break.

Turning toward the blonde Zach could say he was a bit in awe, the two barely knew each other and yet all their meetings had been memorable. From being the girl that knew his secret before anyone else to the one he would have loved in another life, he felt uncomfortable with her. She was part of a happier life he would never accept for himself, she was a constant reminder of that. Her words were eerie, sweet, and he wished when he had attempted his death he felt like he was flying. Instead, he had felt like he was being dragged down more into his own hell.
“Stop expecting things then.” He didn’t mean it in a rude way, it was more an odd piece of advice he was giving the girl in his response. He could barely look at her, memories of another life flashing in his mind when he did.
Tugging her jacket closer around her to ward off the cold night, and with glitter still on her cheeks from the moment Lucy had planted a kiss there, her head raises in surprise, meeting the familiar features of Zachary Kent, another person that broke the pact. Something about his words did not sit well, but she ignores the feeling and smiles—it’s not fake, it’s not sharp, it’s just there until she parts her lips to speak, “they say you fly when you die,” her words float up and drift away like cigarette smoke in the air, an expression of wonderment reigning her dainty features for the fraction of a second before disappearing once more, eyes slipping away from him to watch the people that pass them by, knowing that somewhere in the crowd Lucy was safe with Freddie.
“Never expected to see you at a carnival,” Gina said, popping a bubble of pink gum. Where she could hardly claim to know Zach well, strangely, there would always be a part of her heart beating for another version of him that she had loved.

Zach had no real reason to hate Lily, he just did. Every time he looked at her, thought of her, heard her name, rage bubbled inside of him and he wished he had never met her and never reunited with her. She was not his family, just a girl with the same blood in their veins and similar looks. He didn’t respond, taking the paper instead and looking upon it. “I didn’t.”
You don’t know anything Lily. She’d heard it before: different words, same meaning. And shortly after Sean had spilled everything to her about how she was created for some messed up experiment. “We’ve been lied to for our entire lives, and when we finally get the truth you’re angry with me?! I don’t give a shit about being accepted.” Liar. She retrieved the piece of paper, holding it between them to where anyone watching would wonder if there was anything there at all. “I need you to tell me you didn’t do this.”
