Jake And Rachel: Beta Rebuilt

So I was going through some old stuff I had save and I noticed the first drawing I ever made of Jake and Rachel, so I figured: "Why not attempt to redraw this old and kind of ugly mess in my more current style" and so I did.

I dub this The Beta AU of these characters. I may do some stuff with these designs in the future, but for now I just wanted to share.

Jake And Rachel: Lethal Livestock

Imagine if you must, a conspiracy troubling a small Midwestern Town. Animals have been disappearing from their pens and reports of twisted abominations are coinciding with suspected locations of The Disappeared Livestock. Five young vigilantes track the outbreak to an old Meat Processing Facility outside of town. It's just a shame that one of them is going to use Dynamite to try and solve this issue.

I mostly wanted to use this prompt as an excuse to draw Armored Versions of Sonny, Vivian, and Victor. From left to right: Sonny, Vivian, Jake, Victor, and Rachel. Sure, the "killer monster farm animals" idea would've fit more with halloween, but I wasn't thinking that far ahead.

Just some fluff that I meant to finish for September's Prompt on my Discord Server. Unfortunately, I got sidetracked and didn't finish it until now. Sorry.

Finally, I'm done with my drawing for Halloween. And I gotta be honest, I was never big into straight-up horror. I liked Goofy-Ahhh Lighthearted uses of Horror Tropes like those seen in Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Plants VS Zombies, Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy, stuff like that. Or Horror being used as a backdrop for Action like Killing Floor, Castlevania, or Contra.

But folks, let me tell you about Doom 64 and how well it manages to use it's environments and sound design to create a bone-chilling experience while keeping most of The Gameplay and Enemy Roster from Doom 1 & 2 intact. Seriously, some of the soundtrack is a masterpiece of droning dread. So I decided to draw my characters fighting against the demons, including one from The Classic Roster that had to be cut from D64. (I'll give you a cookie if you know which one.)

Happy August 5, everyone! And I raise my glass to two legends in this small community in particular. Chiggen and Anolelightdragon as their respective AUs are something I wanted to draw and I imagined a scenario where Earth is being corrupted by "something" and shenanigans that would place Chiggen's Rae and Jay and Anole's Supernaturally Serious version of Jake and Rachel fighting alongside the original versions. I hope you two in particular enjoy this. :D

Monthly Prompt on my Discord Server for April, where I tasked people with: A Circus/Clown-Themed drawing for the month.

Therefore, I got the idea to draw parts of my cast as different Circus Performers. Jake's a Stage Magician, Rachel's The Strongwoman, Sonny and Vivian are Clowns, and Victor is The Ringleader.

So I'm not going to lie, I've always wanted to draw a fuckin.... Whaddya call it? "Milkshake Sharing" scene where two characters share a milkshake in a romantic context? Like, it's something so ubiquitous to character couples since like, the 50s. Anyway, kind of gave up on the background so I wouldn't be late to The Actual Valentines Day.... Ooops.

I imagine that Jake And Rachel would take place somewhere in The American Midwest, so the first frost would likely be in October but HEY!

The question you should be asking however, is Rachel really wearing a costume or did a lab-related incident work out well in spite of itself? Jake = Vampire
