SP Convergence AU - Nine

The second installment: a focus on Nine following the initial prism event

“It’s been difficult to focus on these data points. The symptoms seem to be worsening, but I can’t find the cause. With any luck, the data gathered from Ghost Hill might lead to some kind of conclusion.”

Sonic Prime Convergence AU!

The fight at Ghost Hill did not go as planned. The Chaos Council's attacks caused the cave to begin crumbling around the Prism Blueprint. Seeing no other choice, Nine began transferring some of the partially-combined prism's energy to Sonic in order to fight. However, the crumbling boulders crashed and shifted the arrangement of the prism shards, causing them to collide and combine in the wrong way partway through the transter. This recombination, as well as Nine's energy transfer, resulted in a large shockwave to emit from the site, pushing back the Chaos Council's forces, and rendering Nine and Sonic unconscious. Upon witnessing this, Shadow raced to the cave to find the two of them unconscious and the shards gone.
