New site hosting my music
Ok people... This is a new site I have been working on to host my music... It's a stand alone site that doesn't use any third party mp3 uploading sites as a host. Instead I am hosting it on Wix for now...
This is an altered version of the previous Wix Site I used to host music that has rebuilt playlists for unleashing vengeance, thrashfest and also features retro evisceration, and caustic euphony playlists... If you want to hear the best music I've put out go here:
#metal #thrashmetal #blackmetal #progmetal #deathmetal

Go here to hear my music now...
My Music has moved people to other sites... After it was on indiesound I decided I didn't like it and ditched it for soundcloud+audiomack... I wanted to post stuff I liked on both sites... I made a soundcloud with my best 20 songs... I then made an audiomack with my best 15 albums uploaded.. I recently went to spotify for listening to any music instead of paying for it on amazon. GIves me a huge amount of music to be available compared to my mp3 collection.. I also got back into some older black metal by Dimmu Borgir, Emporer, Immortal and other black metal bands I liked in the 2000's... I then listened to new music by Ihsahn, Abbath, and Dimmu. Not bad... Definitely up my ally. Dimmu still sounds good, Ihsahns solo music is rediculously good, and so is Abbaths solo stuff.. I liked the fact Ihsahn is doing prog metal instead of black metal. It got me to want to reupload my similar prog metal project, Caustic Euphony... So I did this: I thought Caustic Euphony especially sounded like Enthrone Darkness Triumphant at times, especially on songs like escaping this madness, feeding on the weak, and bitter slumber. Rancid Abomination, my old black metal project Is also there... It is not like Dimmu, Or Immortal or any other black metal. Sounds unique. But it is ultra atmospheric. Some of it is sort of like Older Dimmu but not quite... I thought the sound was something that fit blackened/black metal well..

Newest Update for my music...
I know... I haven’t posted here in a long time... But I have to tell people what is going on for Zashit666 (now known as Zastuff666 on soundcloud/audius/etc...) This whole thing started when I checked my soundcloud to see how my music was doing on soundcloud.com/zamusic321. This soundcloud hosts a lot of my music and till recently has done well.. When I was posting older stuff there, it did well, and when I posted newer stuff made with AI (part of a solo project called “Euphonic Pestilence”) it did well..  I have revamped it a lot since then but one thing I noticed is that a song called ‘Absolute disharmony’ was liked by 2 different people on 2 different music upload sites! The first person liked it and commented on it on Soundcloud.  They called it “raw”, “heavy” and the “ultimate metal song”.  Then I noticed more people started to like my stuff on Audiomack so I posted Audiomack and Audius links plus a revised link to indiesound unleashing vengeance tracks on my Soundcloud.
On Audius a lot of tracks got listened to and I managed to post them on my twitter at twitter.com/zastuff666 and they got played, unlike when I posted them on audiomack.  Weird... But on audiomack, I noticed that the stats there were a lot better than on Audius and I could tell where my music was being listened to.  A lot of Fans liked it from Toronto, Lubbock Texas and other places... It strangely is not big in Europe, Northeast USA (where I am from), or other big metal places it should be big in (like Finland/norway/etc) but still it got some plays in some surprising places..
It’s great to see Retro Do well as well, as posting it on twitter got it played a lot recently... It is also great to see Unleashing Vengeance do great... It hasn’t done this good in years....
Anyway, follow me at twitter.com/zastuff666 and I will post a video tomorrow morning sometime before 2 Am EST to tell what is happening...

Retro Evisceration, my solo project that crossbred more subgenres than any other metal band/project ever!
I am here to talk about a solo project of mine that is excruciatingly underrated, to the point that no one has ever even listened to it online. This project is an instrumental black/death/prog metal project called Retro Evisceration...
Retro Formed in Late december 2020 to recreate the blackened proggy death metal sound of My Main prog/death project, Caustic Euphony. I decided to do instrumentals because at that time my parents, who I live with, weren't happy with me doing vocals and I simply put could not get away with it.
The sound that was created was extremely atmospheric, ugly, melodic, cold and sinister sounding at times, making it sound a bit like Dimmu sometimes, but at other times, it was a mix of that and Oriental Influences, or a mix of that and Atmospheric melodies like in Atmospheric Black Metal. There are elements of Melodic Black Metal and Melodic Death metal and epic reverberated symphonic black metal orchestral stuff thrown in as well..
Throw in Lots of weird drum beats, including Middle Eastern ones, jazz ones, and others, and add in time/tempo changes, and you get the sound retro was doing. It also did a LOT of american folk music on accoustic.
This project was IMHO, the most ambitious metal project to be simply panned by the listeners, and the main reason this happened, is it's production was kinda crappy at times. Reverberating Guitar, Leads on tremelo, and keyboards/orchestral stuff made the sound creepy, but the thing is if you used all 3 at once, like I did, you sometimes get lots of clipping. It is slight clipping thank god, but that may be the reason it failed.
It's too bad. Retro was a Video Game themed project and did 'silent' concept albums with song titles referencing game stories, of Unreal, Half Life, Doom, Deus Ex, Descent and Morrowind. All but the unreal concept album (the first retro) are great. That one is really sloppy sounding and is off... But the others are amazing...
For a project that is this underrated to be this Innovative is nuts, totally fluke luck bad. It is insane that no one listened to it... It mixed in 8-9 subgenres into one package, FFS! And did it well! Almost no one else in metal has ever done anything close. Some bands like Orphaned Land, Opeth, etc mix in a lot of different styles but 8-9 different subgenres? Only Retro has done that! And it's a damn shame it never even got much fans till recently on soundcloud and indiesound....
If you like black metal, I suggest checking it out... You can listen to it here... www.soundcloud.com/zamusic321

New Solo Project of mine Kicking ASS on soundcloud (!)
I decided to try a metal riff generator out. At first I hated it. I thought it could only do one boring modern metal riff... Then I figured out how to use it and loved it. Produces insane guitar playing, crazy time changes, and even does Djent, something I like... I ended up doing a solo project with it called euphonic pestilence... I posted it to soundcloud not expecting much, but boy was I wrong. In 2 days I got 35 plays and over 60 reposts for it. That’s because this thing kills it in guitar production and produces metal way better than I did for my tracked metal projects like Unleashing Vengeance and Caustic Euphony. Every song gets more reposts than likes or plays and that is telling me soundcloud is all over this. Must be the production increase, or the dramatic increase in song writing skills this produces. YAY! for AI! I thought they were only good for making faces.... I guess I was wrong...
Go here to check it out. It’s heavy, proggy, death/doom/djent shit and if you can stomach that without vocals you might like it... https://soundcloud.com/euphonicpestilence

Interview with Zashit666
This is an interview I am posting here from an anonymous source. They interviewed me today. It is really interesting so I want to post it here...
What is music to you? What does it give you? Z A: I enjoy making music to see what I can do wtth computer software like openMT to create the heaviest metal sound. It is an obsession... So far I've succeeded in doing that and Succeeded in the indie Scene
What is your music dream? Z A: To write the heaviest most brutal metal ever...
If you could change the world - what would you start with? Z A: I would get rid of all the crappy music out there like dance, pop, rap, dubstep, and country. We don't need that shit blasted at restaurants...
Which is the most memorable song from your childhood? Z A: I never really listened to good music when I was younger. I was a trendy dance/pop/rap fan and never liked good music Till my best friend got me into Metallica later...
Who are your favorite musical artists or bands? Z A: I really like a lot of extreme metal and non extreme metal bands. Persuader for their vocals. Blind Guardian for their vocals and music. Melechesh for their really exotic sounding riffs and insane growls. Kreator for making thresh Melodic. Manticora and Symphony X for their progressive approaches. Many other bands.
What inspires you to make music? Z A: I just go into music writing mode and Can't really explain why.
What is the message you want to send with your music? Z A: I target anti-societal messages in my music, such as anti censorship, anti indoctrination, anti government corruption, and similar.
How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience? Z A: I never actually perform live. I can't. It's just me making music for myself. I tried to do a live album but my mixing software fucked up.
How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved? Z A: Crappy music sites need to be ditched totally. Stuff like bandcamp filled with metal elistists needs to go. Audiomack and Soundcloud and their stupid "buy fake plays"  spambots that like your track and comment on it without listening to it also need to be ditched and shut down. People need to stop listing these sites and sites that need aggregators to host music as souncloud alternatives. People need to start to list sites like indiesound and muslate more often as they are REALLY the only good music sites that exist now.
Describe your recording setup I have a custom PC loaded with cheap mixing software that I trained myself to produce on. My tracker of choice, OpenMT has a really good mix built into it with a good guitar sound programmed into a VST instrument for guitar distortion/reverb. I record in my home when I am home alone in the house, and I actually get up early as hell at times to do this. One time I got up at 6:30 AM after loosing a full nights sleep just so I could do vocals when I was home alone. I record in a house WITHOUT soundproofing because I don't give a shit about neighbors complaints. Luckily I never got any.
What frustrates you most as a musician? Z A: The insane Lack of Fanbase for my music in my area. Not Counting me and My best friend, My stuff has 1 fan in Massachusetts. It has tons of fans in Europe and India but only 3 fans in my home state... That is insane. I don't know why people don't like it but it may have to do with how extreme it is.
Do you support your local scene as a fan? How? Z A: Not really. Massachusetts has nothing but crappy core bands and modern metal bands. Meliah rage stopped being good metal a long time ago. Dream theater moved out a long time ago and is the only real band we ever produced that is still good.
What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience? Z A: People need to stop doing mainstream rap/pop/dance crap #1. Number 2, the last people people want to see is trends. Don't be a trendly idiot and do something you like. Don't do some mainstream crap like glam metal or nu metal or shit like that.
Another thing is that people seriously need to get good record Labels. Persuader kind of messed up and went with an underground label for their new cd and they never gave them good shows and now their broken up due to it. Also do EVERYTHING in your power to succeed. Do interviews, do social networking, produce yourself and market it like crazy if you can. It payed off for me. Don't be afraid to do indie stuff because that's where I made it.
Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of. Z A: Pytamaze is a really cool metal band from Denmark that does prog metal. Prog metal bands like Pagans mind and Scar Symmetry are also amazing. So is barren earth, if you like prog death. Skyfire and In Mourning are amazing in that genre too.
How are you doing online so far with your music I am doing really well in the indie scene now on sites like Indiesound and Muslate. But I wasn't always doing that well... For years on end since I decided to take my music down a black metal direction, my music did terrible online on soundcloud. When I tried to do a new solo artist to bring back the thrash into the sound, Jamendo, where I was hosting the music, Popped up a stupid ID document rule you had to give them for them to publish a track. But currently, I am kicking ass in the indie Scene. 31000 plays in 9 months on Indiesound, 9000 plays in 1 year on Muslate. That's better than a lot of major label metal bands, including Manticora, Detonation and Barren Earth. Sure the plays are from a different Source for them (Last.fm) but It still counts..

ZAshit666 is now kicking ass in the indie Scene!
Zashit666, your home of tracked extreme metal, is now doing kickass in the indie scene... It was doing TERRIBLE on soundcloud/audius and audiomack but now thanks to indiesound and muslate it is doing great...
This is a huge step forward for me. I now finally have a scene! I have started something. The newenglandstyle sound has now gotten big! FUCK YEAH! Me and my friend Dana were talking about this as I had my hair cut today.
This means my music is now being recognized! It is amazing!
It might not be major label or up there with big metal bands but now it’s finally getting tons of plays, and I mean TONS of plays.
31000 on indiesound in 9 months! 9000 in 1 year on muslate.  Indiesound is a european indie music hosting site. Songs doing well there are the death of sanity and interplanetery hell by caustic euphony plus Forces of Metal, exploding metal, malware marauders and GPOS by Unleashing Vengeance.  On Muslate, my albums keep on being liked. commented on and downloaded;. Most of my comments weirdly are stupid bots but a few seem legit. But the 9000 plays mean the site has given me real fans, even if they don’t show themselves..
Anyway, this pumps the scene out and now there is actual fans for my stuff in big quantities online...  The weird thing is that NONE of them come from Massachusetts. There is only 3 fans of my shit here. Me, My best Friend and My Barber.  Massachusetts is oblivious to the existence of Caustic Euphony and Unleashing vengeance. I don’t know what it is, the extreme nature of it, the weird melodies that come from Jazz and Middle Eastern music, the vocals, the production. But SOMETHING is preventing this stuff from making it here in Massachusetts.. In Dedham it’s not even remotely noticed at all. No buzz here whatsoever... And this is after 13 years of twitter presence, soundcloud plays, noisetrade BS and more. No one that was friends with me in Highschool minus my best friend likes my stuff. Metal fans here just don’t fricking know it exists. But it’s KILLING IT in Europe and India!
FUCK YES!

Some Asshole  hacked my music making computer, and finally it’s clean...
I spent the last month tracking, hunting, researching methods on removing, and finally removing, a hacker that got on to my computer.  I have no clue who this was and probably never will..  It sucks too, because that info would be so valuable now...  Especially with me and the possibility someone who hated unleashing vengeance hired the hacker or executed the hack him/herself...
The Hacker used a very weak method of taking over my machine, a weak method known as windows remote assistance, It is a system where someone can access your computer and remotely assist you by fixing problems while doing so. The problem is, this allows hackers in as well thanks to unpatched vulnerabilities...  I disabled this feature immediately and the hacker went away suddenly. Cleaning out my temp files may have also helped...
As early as 2015 and before,  the hacker made himself known... Back in 2011, someone made my previous PC, a PC's for everyone PC, slow down. Sysprot antirootkit found a LOT of hidden browser processes...  I assumed my PC was turned into a proxy server.. I reformatted it then... In 2015, my PC displayed odd, supposed hard drive failure symptoms that included audacity (my mixing software) and OpenMT (my tracking software) failing to play any sound all the way through... I soon got the PC nuked by some virus and the repair shop called it hard drive failure even though it wasn't...
The PC then got a new Hard drive in 2015 and as soon as 2020 hit other weird tracker symptoms happened... The instrument I was selecting to write riffs with would suddenly change on it's own.... I thought this might be a tracker bug but since it happened then and never before, I assumed that isn't the case. In 2021 a folder on my Mp3 player suddenly got "locked" by malware, locking me out of it. It had unleashing vengeance music. Soon afterwards, the folder containing all music on the player also got locked.. Luckily resetting the mp3 player fixed this.... Now I can play any music I feel like on xmas day if my sister has a family gettogether... I am buying a new mp3 player just incase this was an mp3 player failing...
Strange hard drive errors soon happened on one of my external hard drives. Files copied over would all get deleted mysteriously... This bothered me for a while. This even happened when the internet was unplugged, proving it was some kind of malware doing it or some kind of hard drive problem... Disabling windows remote assistance made this go away, proving it was malware. Cleaning up  the temp folder also may have stopped this.
These weird symptoms that happened from 2011 to later bother me. Clearly SOMEONE didn't want me to write music or make music. They went as far as trying to disable the ability to copy to my mp3 player, what I use to play music over my sisters...  They fucked up with my tracker when I was writing music. They fucked up my tracker AND my mixing software in 2015... SOMEONE didn't like me making music. SOMEONE... I don't know who.. Suspects range from idiots in the Doom Community who trolled me for making bad wads and for me trolling them for trolling me, to someone else I am close with who might be someone who would gain from my music being stopped by various Issues like this. I don't know... All I know is this. This Hacker is gone now. No signs of him remain.. I have no clue how to proceed... All I know is this shit has to end now... This kind of crap is against the law, NO ONE should pay someone to do this to a musicians computer, no matter HOW offensive the music is, no matter HOW offensive the trolling video was, it does not matter, it's still illegal to do this. Clearly SOMEONE doesn't like unleashing vengeance, and has NO problem with doing illegal actions to kill it or other music I have written since then like thrashfest. His actions in august/september 2020 almost killed the production of thrashfest, a brilliant thrash metal solo artist I put together to replace the perminently disbanded unleashing vengeance.  It didn't work... Thrashfest WILL be played this XMAS if we have a gettogether... SOMEONE will hear it. I don't care if the lyrics are offensive, I don't care if it's a "Bad" influence, I don't give a shit. This shit won't stop me. EVER!
