ZaSR Week 2025: Eternal Love

This one has two big inspirations!

I watched the last episode of Madoka Magica today! And ohhhhhhhhhh it sure activated my neurons!

I have this headcanon with Irken relationships where they don't really have a concept of marriage in their culture, but they can register someone close to them as a partner in their PAK (platonically or romantically). This links their PAKs digitally and allows them to be treated as a unit rather than two individual irkens in certain legal cases. As a partnered unit, you share accomplishments! However, if your partner is someone like Zim, you take on his debts and crimes. It's a good thing Skoodge is kind enough to accept his request anyway 🩷

ZaSr week day 5 : Conquest

YA'LL THOUGHT YOU CAUGHT ME LACKING HUH??? Haha I just forgot to post this earlier. Which is hilarious because this might just be my favorite piece I've made for ZaSr week so far

But Nah, if I miss a post I probably got exploded. I love ZaSr with all my heart, I would never dare to skip a day.

ANYWAY, ABOUT THE ACTUAL ART.

I love this one because it low-key gives a Mr burns and smithers vibe. Just an evil guy causing destruction and world domination w his partner in crime gazing at him lovingly.

ZASR Week 2025 Day 4: DOMESTIC

I once drew a cute tiny doodle of Skoo swaddled in a blanket...but since they're roomates, I'm sure Zim is actually usually swaddled up right along with him. :3

Today's drawing is super lazy because honestly I couldn't really figure out what to do for the prompt. Most of my ZaSr week submissions so far have been traumatic(joke) so here's a simple, sweet moment of these two (rare).

I love drawing these two divorced coded, but for today we can have this.

ZASR Week 2025 Day 3: SOLDIERS

Their tallers hate them for how effective they are at defeating the empire's many enemies, leaving all of their peers in the dust!!....and....you know....that they're also short. That's a pretty big reason too I guess. XP

This one's lower effort than the others because I have to pack for a road trip, but oh well, the show must go on!

Uh oh, looks like Zim got injured during his Irken Elite training! How embarrassing! Though Skoodge's comfort eases the pain, he's not exactly helping him look like invader material

ZaSr week day 3 : Soldiers

Irken Elite training was rough on those who felt strongly. Skoodge cares and the armada does not. Irkens are expendable, but to Skoodge his dear "friend" is not. Despite the irken ability to heal, Skoodge never expected to see ZiM hurt so badly. Elite Training was a wake up call to the life that everyone was being guided towards.

Zim being at his most annoying: in a human movie theater! Not that Skoodge really cares, he's just there to cuddle with Zim. What Skoodge doesn't know is Zim's only sitting so close so that they only had to pay for one seat ;)

I guarantee somebody in that theater threw several cups of soda at Zim for this

ZaSr Week Day 2 : Sweet & Salty

"These are just like you!"

Today's drawing is a bit quicker, the concept was simple and sweet so I thought I'd leave the drawing the same way. My favorite thing about skoodge is that he has no fear of ZiM's outbursts. in day of da spookies he just lets ZiM yell at him and he DOESNT CARE? He's such a guy. a fella. He says and does what's on his mind and is just constantly content with the consequences. shoot me out a space cannon? ok! make me pretend to be a ghost investigator? sure! push me off a cliff into a terrifying canyon with a freaky monster? I'll come running back to you! He does not gaf.

I like to think skoodge's flirting style is very forward and he just says what he thinks. not with the intent to flirt. he just likes zim and has no problem making it known. "Hey, ZiM!! These are just like you! Sweet and salty! :D"

ZiM of course is neurotic as ever. "SHUT UP SKOODGE." He takes everything skoodge says as an insult. He's salty about skoodge concurring blorch.

idk if I interpreted the prompt right, but when I first saw it all I could think of was the scene in "The Trial," where smeet ZiM and Skoodge try to escape the education plug/irken education system to get to the surface of irk. I hate these idiots so much 💜
