I just absolutely love drawing morpheus, and I never really draw him the same way. It reminds me of a post that talked about how he's probably the only character that could be drawn a million ways, and they would all be right, because he changes depending on the person who's viewing him. I think that's so beautiful and so freeing, and perfeclty fit for his character and I just.... I love the sandman so muchhhh

No cause like. I saw someone on twitter talking about Hob adopting the kids™ and just imagine him doing that alongside Morpheus.

Crystal and Niko would be able to go to sleep safe and sound, cause they'd know no matter how bad a case was, how traumatic, Morpheus would take care of them and take away their nightmares.

He likes the boys so much, because they remind him of his son. He learned about Charles going after Edwin in hell and succeeding in bringing him back, and retreated to the dreaming without explanations for a while, and everyone there had to live through days of raining, with no end in sight.

He treats all of the kids with a slight distance and coldness, but still, with affection and care. Hob sometimes asks them to be a little patient with him, and offers every piece of warmth Morpheus doesn't.

No matter where they are, sleeping or awake, our core four know that they're being watched over and are completely safe.

I know she doesn't really use a scythe but I put it there for the ~vibes~

Also his is one of my favorite paintings I've ever made (if not my favorite)
